@ShadowVape The Vrip rips!!!! Awesome quality. I just don't understand yet how much water to put in the bowl? It has 2 tanks. A larger and a smaller one. How much H2O shall I put in them?
Im sure u have addressed this question before but I think 118 pages is a little bit too much...

Can I ask if it's possible to vape a bit of shatter on a bed of kief with the flowers bowl?
The kit I'll receive soon doesn't mention the concentrates bowl....

Waiting game & anticipation is killing me!

Almost there...

As far as i know there is NO concentrate bowl.
Both 14mm and 18mm bowls are the exact same.

I used it with flowers, kief and shatter, budder and oil and all worked really well!
Convection gives you a LOT of hits of concentrates!

There is a pic of a concentrate bowl some page ago...maybe it isn't avalaible yet...

Although I'm very pleased i can vape concentrate alone.... how do you proceed?
is it possible to just put a dab on a glass screen and vape on!?!

Came across this vape and now I want one lol.....
Does small amounts .1 or less work well in the vrip? I love flavor so that's important to me but i also need thick clouds for fast medication. Possible with this ?got my eyes on this and the vap.3.
Oh and who should I order this vape from ?I'd like it to get here ASAP ,before Christmas but would also like to get the best deal

You realize Christmas is on Friday, right? Vriptech is a pretty small operation and I'd recommend buying direct from them, but your timeline might be a little optimistic.

Hi, Iget my Vrip from Lazylathe, it arrived in perfect condition, very well packaged and fast shipping!

I was unable to gave it a try before the end of the day...I didn't get a lot of time for some testing before to quit my office where my Vrip will sit next of my nano. So I broked by hands a lavender bud (a bit too moist cause rain) and filled the bowl, the wand was heated to Lazylathe's spot (75-80%) and it gave me blueish vapor from the first hit, not really thick but very potent and tasty, after some hits abv comes out on the yellow side. i have enough time for a second session, I bumped t° at 90% and got thicker hits!

More testing will be done but I can feel I will love this vape even if my only complain is I was coughing a lot (in this aspect it reminds me the MV)...I understand better the ice here...

This morning I "treated myself" (I like this Stickstone expression!) with my new wand!

Low temp, high temp, I tested it a lot. I tried a glass bowl which comes with one of my china bubbler, the wand fit it perfectly, I prefer it to the Vrip bowl cause the wand is closer of the load and conic shape help to avoid to stir too much. With this setup I can use very, very small load and I get a full extracted abv in 3-4 hits...it's nice cause i'm a bit lazy and prefers to don't stay too long time with the wand in my hands, a quick, tasty and powerfull session is perfect for me.

This setup is nice for concentrates, I tried a bit of kief on a bed of flowers..delicious!...and a bit of live resin on my MV liquid pad....good taste at the beginning and clouds after (although shatter/wax convection dab never taste the same than my e-nail, it's less floral..but kief/hasch taste good using convection!)

still need a lot of test but I'm very happy about this vape, definitly a game changer!

I go back with the Vrip bowl for flowers, I think a larger load works better about taste and I would to stay all glass, I only put a ss screen in the 18mm male connector to prevent small bits of abv fall in my water tools...

For the same reason I prefer to use scissors grind and it helps for better flavor, bigger amount means the last hits are not really tasty...but in rewards they are cloudies!

My replacement bowl is a combustion bowl, it is nice for smaller loads or concentrates, here a (bad) pic:

Still need to try a full blast session.....and still need to take some photography lessons! (and someting else than my phone...).

The Vrip replace my Cloud+ for the better imo, it milks my WT as well with a superb taste!

ps: How are sure your wand is enough hot (time, blink, colour, heat feeling or test puff)?

ps: How are sure your wand is enough hot (time, blink, colour, heat feeling or test puff)?

@ my vapor bar I've got the routine so dialed in I just know by time (spent grinding and loading one bowl, VHW in it's glass stand btw). That being said, so many things can alter heat-up times in varied environs; ambient temps, different outlet voltage (mine is typically @ 128V), etc.,. My heat check is by holding the VHW horizontally about an inch from/under my nose & lips. I can tell by the radiant heat when it's ready. Maintaining the ideal temp through a longer, multi-user session is another art (lol!), yet also not that difficult. I use tactile check on the glass-stand to determine if it is heat saturated, which allows further dialing-back of the VHW temp. It's an iterative process and I get some satisfaction out of obtaining that temp-delivery (relative) equilibrium. Being able to see the entire vapor path and load in real-time gives all the feedback one needs and, if you find you're off to the hot side, it is immediately remediable by breaking the VHW to VCB seal (thus allowing a mix of ambient, non-heated air into the intake flow). If one is on the too cool side I like to park it and wait for more heat accumulation but a slower, prolonged draw is sometimes all that is necessary to achieve optimum vapor when not too low of the mark.

Also - use an ash-catcher or hemp-filter stage in line (post-bowl, pre-water tool, of course) if you want to lose the metal screen for a glass one and not clog up your bubbler's diffusion works.

Sláinte!

Still in honeymoon phase my the Vrip! I thought it will be an occasionnal vape but I can't resist to use it everydays.

It's tasty at hell, thick clouds also...I use a large load (0.15-0.25), scissor grind, set it at 80-85% (a bit more than lazylathe's mark) and get a long, long session (lot of hits, I didn't count them but the cheese i vaped this morning is very dense and powerfull!) thats the way it shines for me!

Abv comes out dark brown with some little stir betwwen hits, i don't crush it to keep the good taste to the last hit (as my water tools cleaner).

It's definitly the better vaporizer i never tried about vapor quality, it's really a pleasure to use, even one of my combuster friend was stocked.

Can't understand why this vape is so underated after a so long time on the market and so impressive performances, it blows the Cloud out the water imho!!

@PPN have you used the Evo extensively and would you say you get clouds of vapor comparable to the it ?
I only used the Cloud+ extensively and even if it's a cloud maker it is far away the Vrip about taste.

And yes the big bowl is a big plus for an intense flavor and large clouds.

Hello Folks... Still in the mastering phase with my Vrip..
Can somebody answer this?

1. Why during some hits I don't get any vapor at all while other hits are crazy thick? It depends on what? What am I doing wrong? I use the Vrip percolator and run it glass on glass, no silicone valve

2. How low can I go with the perc and keep the Vrip still functional? I'm micro dosing now, usually 0.05 and never above 0.1...

Ok still in my steep learning curve... A couple of days ago I tried fir the first time to micro dose with the Vrip... 0.05 gr... I usually micro dose with the Mighty but since I consider the Vrip a superior quality vape, I decided to give it a try... Well, I put it at 80% and since I wasn't getting as much thick clouds as with the Mighty, I decided to turn it to 100%... Big mistake. I just did 2/3 hits and the grass got really brown but the worst part is that it really burnt the left part of my throat... After 3 days I still feel a little pain while swollowing ---> forced T-break for at least 10 days I guess.

Can anybody explain me what the heck happened? Was really the heat or something else? I used it with the Vrip perc filled with warm water, just a bit above room temperature, far away from steamy...

@stickstones and @lazylathe you seems to be in the pro category here with the Vrip, maybe you can help me understand better what happened and how I can micro with the Vrip?

As Stickstone noticed the Vrip is better for larger load, the bowl is designed to be filled a lot (I weight 0.25 for my average load!) although I found a combustion bowl which fit the wand (there is a pic one page before), it helps to put the load closer of the wand, I load my flowers in a Vapocane screen and place it in the bowl (load is as tiny as you want, 0.05 at max), I get 2-3 fat clouds from this setup without stirring at all. But I prefer the large Vrip bowl cause a large load give a more intense taste.
