Could you please post your data supporting your opinion that the Volcano has four heater or fan speeds?
That would be great 'cause I'd sure like to turn mine back up a click or two!

That should've been a PM as we don't allow for public discussion of moderator decisions. I know that you know that rule as you got a warning point for it a couple of months ago.I know You're what in ******MY ******OPINION******, would be considered an 'Enforcer',
and I'm good with that. Red letters and all!
Haven't Broken Any Rules.
Its seems like just Me, against Everyone else on this forum,
I wonder why?
But You and others are falsely accusing me, as usual.
I always state, "i think" or "in my opinion"
and, everything I state IS from My own Experience
And, I thought that anyone with half a
knows theirs no such thing as 'Fact' on This or any other Forum, let alone the internet.
But, I kinda wanted to know ‘how to use my volcano in manual’That should've been a PM as we don't allow for public discussion of moderator decisions. I know that you know that rule as you got a warning point for it a couple of months ago.
You've earned yourself a vacation from FC. #factsmatter
My friend...you should try one. Does @Stu have a Volcano? I believe you guys live close by and have met before. I actually think a bag vape would suit you. Not the best flavor or efficiency, but ease of use and just strong if you run at high enough temp. Volcano Digit at 446 pulls a bag or two that just put me down at night which is what I'm seeking most often.Maybe I’m JADED?
When I grew back in the 70’s (zigzag daz’s)
Bags might be ok?
Never tried one!
Now I want to try?
@Dear weed doula your picture has converted or changed my thinking ?
don't know where u got that from but that is not correct - even the manual states the selected temp is just the projected temp based on the heater block (where the temp sensor is placed as it should for a precise control loop), which is at least 100K over the selected temp or it wouldn't produce any vapor - where else should the joules come from?
for technical reasons the tem-perature in the filling Chamber cannot be measured duringvaporization. During operation the tem-perature is measured at the heat ex-changer. The display indicates the refe-rence values for the attached filling Chamber with the air pump switched on.
Moron is my favorite kind of stoopid...Shoot....duplicate, please delete, I'm a moron. haha
I was a joint smoker for a long time and the PLENTY just fit me so well?Volcano does not cover every situation but for me it replaces logs and glass for home use (for now at least) and with big improvement
When chain vaping more than one bag, the throat (more than lungs) feel dryiness and eventually I will try to put the bag on my orbiter, but I usually do one full bag max every here and there
One bag @6-7 doesnt’t cause almost any dryiness at all to me (190-202C)
@ataxian i think you would not regret buying it, I was on the fence between volcano and plenty and choosen volcano even if afraid I would possibly be disappointed by use of bags, I am not
Ritual is not very fascinating, to say the less, but the combo comfort and effectiveness of volcano bags (or bags in general?) is from another world IMO
Brother, make it to DC sometime like we talked and we will do Valcano bag and look at the Flower Pot that I believe you were interested in at one time.....though that is one hot mother. A friend of mine who I went with last week to CHAMPS trade show just burnt a nice ring on his forearm w his FP VROD! Ouch!I was a joint smoker for a long time and the PLENTY just fit me so well?
I never tried a bag?
What I use is over the top?
Da PLENTY is so perfect to me?
However I want to try a VOLCANO one daze’s!
When I go to DC I hope we can have a session in da VOLCANO!Brother, make it to DC sometime like we talked and we will do Valcano bag and look at the Flower Pot that I believe you were interested in at one time.....though that is one hot mother. Hope all is well w you and yours.
................I have been trying to find one or alternative that allow the Easy Valve to be used with a 14mm female joint. And for reference, here's the Illadelph Adapter:
It's really interesting how the Magma works before the bag. Then the other one, Obsidian, is that one intended to have a whip adapter placed on top or a glass mouthpiece part?........check out www.magma-industries.com for more info. Or you can always just ask us here
Your kind words are much appreciated! I put a lot of time and effort into developing these for everyone after having my own custom one for years.Just to add, the 30 min cut off really suits me too. It doesn't bother me much as the unit takes a long while to cool.
And one of my pet hates is that whole "did I turn that shit off", or having to get back up and check.
With this I can just fall asleep even with some of my blankets near the top of the unit and I don't have to jump back up adjusting or checking things, and I can also leave the house without worrying much at all.
I can fully understand somebody who might zone out and then needs a bag right away finding it inconvenient though.
Perhaps there should've been a timeout selector and bypass switch on the underside somewhere to suit everyone's needs.
One thing that you can't do with the Digit that you maybe could with the Classic, is to have it power on with a plug in timer to heat up before you wake or get home. But I can live without that just fine too!
There has been a few sources of various forms of those for a long while, I keep meaning to get one!
Here are some links to click:
Planet Vape Canada
Verdampftnochmal Germany
Vaporisateur France
Some of those look slightly different and all different prices too!
I like the look of the one you posted and it has an O-ring.
Like some people here, I just Blu-tak an Easy Valve MP to the female joint for now!
For me, I might also look into an adapter/bend to point the bag downwards as I'm now wary of ending up near a window with a huge cloud bag on top of the bubbler!
It's really interesting how the Magma works before the bag. Then the other one, Obsidian, is that one intended to have a whip adapter placed on top or a glass mouthpiece part?
I could not find any written description or picture of anything connected to it on the site and I'm becoming the type of person who avoids searching for and watching a modern, white background beep boop video or flash presentation to find out if I'm interested.
Thanks!
I was a bag-to-bonger and I concur that the Magma provides considerably smoother vapor than bag-to-bong IME.Going bag-to-bong (how most people, including myself, percolated their vapor using the volcano) only adds 30-50% relative humidity to the vapor stream (depends on the current climate where you live). Magma and Obsidian hit 100. It’s super helpful on the throat and lungs.

It’s interesting... cooler water provides more cooling capacity, but Warmer water provides more humidity. It’s personal preference what’s better, I like warm water in fact. The system is much more appealing to me now. That you no longer need to hold the (kinda heavy) glass bong and water in your hands so you get your light bag system back. Cool.
With Volcano I have been only using water for higher temperature and oils, but great not to have to hold it anymore!
Then I think the water in this would stay nice and warm in longer sessions, because of where it is held.
Nice that your 420 sale is active now too @Magma_Industries ! Thank you for the opportunity.
Does it get deposits build up about as quickly as any other piece, or bag-to-bong? (B2B!) I'm wondering more about goodness filtered out than the frequency of cleanings.
I'm beginning to think that any reclaim that ends up in a normal WT of mine is not really worth consuming.
This system might be different as it's closer to the bowl end, but if there is more or better reclaim from it I could always just harvest it with iso.

There will be an amount of reclaim similar to any other vaporizer WPA.....
I totally agree with you, and I'd like to see that study as well. But, to be clear, anything lost will be due to the condensation of the vapor via thermodynamic pressure, NOT because of the water itself. If you test the water, you'd find almost no "actives" as THC is not soluble in water. I would hazard a guess, though, that the warmer water would warm up the side walls, and the warm walls would condense less vapor than cool walls will, thus leaving more "actives" in the vapor stream itself.................................................................................................................................................
When not being lazy, I use very warm water in all my WPA. It does add more moisture than cool water.
IMO, warm or hot water also removes less goodies than cool or cold water. The greater the temp diff between any vapor and the water or vessel, the more that will condense out.
If I had the lab equipment, I'd like to see an experiment /comparison of how many actives are lost to cold/cool/warm/hot water thru a water piece AND even compare to an empty glass piece which many use. My guess is that warm or hot water may very well pull out less actives than an empty glass piece with its 50 degree cooler glass walls vs hot water???
Apologies if this has already been brought up, but I came across this today and am curious if anyone knows what this might be?
The above pic comes from this S&B filing to the FCC:
https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=Y&application_id=HPIYYZZJKcCUutjBXLwz7A==&fcc_id=2APJE-SB
The filing above seems to have been submitted in June of last year before the Canopy Growth acquisition was finalized.
A new volcano maybe? If so, I might have to look into upgrading my 15 year old (and still going strong!) classic.
That's a cool find! That testing looks involved!
It says the FCC ID relates to a BLE module, which is probably Bluetooth Low Energy.
Don't know if the module could be fitted to older Volcanos but it seems to come in this Hybrid model.
I'm wondering if that's a hybrid between Volcano and Plenty so it could do direct draw?
I got excited about IP21 being waterproof but it only protects against condensation.
Strange! (expensive!?)
No visible air filter like the old Volcano in that picture.
In that link, another view of the label states it's 270 watts.
My Digit is 120 watts, so the new one might be designed to do things better or faster.
That's a lot of available watts for a vape!
