The "medic" units are identical to the rec units with exception of packaging and marking. The cert was granted based on materials safety and both are made with the exact same components.random questions, still thinking to replace my might with a vulcano
1) i only consume at night but then i re-dose around every hour. i just read some where that the digital one switched off after a certain time is this true? and if so after what time?
2) what is the difference between a medical unit and a normal unit?
Yes, I’m usually up and doing a session (with some vape or another) 2-3 time a night. Thanks! Do you use your digital volcano multiple time at night? How many time is in between if so

3) what will interrupt the digital from turning off? turning the fan on/off? (i will forget this and be screwed but still)
I think it will be worse for the unit to "reheat" it every hour or so.
While this is true for the Mighty and Mighty Medic, I believe the Volcano Medic has a maximum temperature of 210 degrees Celcius while the rec one goes up to 230.
The auto shut off also drove me insane resulting in a classic replacement...........Sunup to midnight daily.
Ah, didn't know that....that's kind of strange, no?
............................................There was much testing involved and figures generated but I think I read about that 210 degree figure in a couple of various studies, is it to avoid benzene or something?
Mine is 1,78 meters long, but I have a digit. After selling all the vape stuff I didn't use I just ordered a Volcano Classic for group use and to try convince my GF to stop smoking at home.
I have a question: how long is the power cord? I couldn't find this specific on the S&B website or from the vendor I bought it from.
No...one, there really isn't a way to get flower down there unless you pour it it. It will not leak down to any significant extent through the chamber screens.
Is it possible to change this "inner screen"? Or maybe it just one big screen? i was thinking a replacing it for a finer one. I hear some herb falls down.
Is it possible to decarboxilate cannabis using a Volcano?
I mean, activating it. Not just vaporizing most of the cannabinoids.

And if it did, take out the foam air intake filter on the bottom and blow out the path with compressed air.
Disassembly is not required nor, IMO, advised.
Unexpected new thread to join. Damn Black Friday deals.
Quick question about Easy Valve Reducer. Can I just buy the reducer metal piece for $12 and the plastic filling chamber for $8.00 and be able to go back and forth between full load and reduced load, like I can with the Plenty. I do not have to buy the whole $62 chamber with reducer, correct?
Wow! today i tried my volcano for the first time!! So smooth and efficient. Compared to the volcano my Mighty is so harsh.
random question: do you guys use different bags for different strains? i have the urge to do that. dont know if it makes sense.
Having a Volcano on all day doubled my electricity bills (just like the Evo). It happened for a few months after I bought it.Because the volcano really works best after a 15 to 20 minute warm-up, the auto shut off meant that just when I was ready to medicate again after an hour, it had shut down and completely cooled down.

Evo hits are weaker when the unit is cold, no doubt. Given the temp and weed, Volcano bags taste always the same for me. No difference if the green temp has been reached now or 20 minutes ago.
I may be biased since i always vape at 230C, but I should notice as well poor yield or lack of flavor, which I don't.
Other than vaping at 230C, I always use XL bags and I think that instead of leaving the Volcano on indefinitely the best thing to do is extract all the stuff in one session with a long bag. I realized I like better XL bags (easy valve) and that standard bags fail to extract all the stuff for me.
Maybe what really should be avoided is re-heating weed for a second or third (weak) balloon.
Maybe it's just me trying to save money!
