Maybe you guys need to get better flower! I get good effects from one dosing capsule but I’m not fighting any chronic pain.

I set my ‘cano digit to max temp and get one bag per capsule. I do have asthma and sensitive lungs and the capsule makes the vapor easier on my lungs.

I’ll post a video of the bag filling up later.

I just retried the capsule with finer grind and started maxed at 446 degrees, this time I did get one bag of acceptable vapor, but not super dense like without the reducer. I also got only one bag so I'm happy to hear that's normal.

I doubt I'll be using the capsules much, I did get the magazine of 8, maybe I'll fill them and use them when I want a quick bag in a rush without having to grind and load, but they are too small for regular vaping.

I'm liking the easy valve already, I remember recommending the solid valve over it in the past but now that they made the bags replaceable I was ready to try it. One reason I didn't want to try it was the high cost of their disposable bag-valve combos but that's no longer an issue and I didn't know you could change the bag even before their adapter.

I like how the top screen twists and locks into place rather than hold from the friction of the screen which as I said when it's worn pops out when the pump starts, and even the valve clips onto the volcano instead of just rest on it like the solid valve.

Do you just soak the easy valve in iso to clean it? The solid valve has countless parts, springs, gaskets, tubes, it's almost like taking a lego kit apart, cleaning every piece one by one and putting it back together.

It blows apart like the solid valve for full cleaning! I hear you arent supposed to use iso on the plastic bits though.

I would agree with not soaking the plastic parts... On the volcano EZ valve, there is no real plastic parts that get exposed to actual vapor. The Stainless steel takes all of the "goo".

Main problem with the reducer/capsules is similar to the plenty - the capsule needs to be hold down by a bowed down top screen, or it can be lifted by the airflow and air passes sideways...

I have a reduced chamber as well as the regular EZ Valve and the ONLY thing I do with dosing capsules is use them for herb/concentrate sandwiches. Otherwise, I found the capsules to just not give me the milk bag that I want for pain and sedatin.

But, little bit of flower, little bit of concentrate, topped with a little flower and wowzer....you can get some milk that way for certain.

I do the same with my Mighty...capsules are for sandwiches only.

Mine has always been like that too, the rubber mounts on the air pump inside appear to be set up for optimum noise and vibration reduction in the fully upright, seated position.
So they probably wag around too much at strange positions.

The little air intake underneath probably should be kept free to breath too. When I put the device on a bed or couch i put a large hardback book underneath.

I remember seeing a patient in a documentary who was happy to blow bags while sitting down with the Volcano tilted in his lap, so it can be done!
Just not really my bag, baby!

Thank you for the confirmation. The whole ordeal was kind of weird, since I received a unit with mismatched serial numbers on the box and unit. It was purchased from an authorized dealer, but I contacted S&B, who said it was just a mistake on their part. I just wanted to make sure it's not damaged / a knock-off before I go using it.

I just rocked mine side to side and it is a type of sound that makes one concerned at first. But it's known to be normal I believe.

Yep, mine does it also. I take it as a sign that I'm handling it too rough.

In there is a big aluminum heat sink and the pump and I think its that whole internal assembly that moves on its vibration/shock mounts.

No... the fan is balanced on a needle, and when shaken.... it jiggles. No problem, it won't dislodge.

Wow, I can see why this thing is so highly recommended. I ran .25 and got 4 decent bags at 380/390/400/410. Compared to my DBV with the same amount, I feel at least 20-30% more medicated. Even after over 4 years with my DBV, and trying every combination of grind, temp, and draw speed, I can't believe what a difference it is. Makes me realize how much "money I've left on the table" over the years, so to speak.

Been ripping through MMJ with the Flowerpot since July. Recently bought some Hemp buds, like 16 or 17% CBD and a tiny amount of THC, but loaded with terps and some other cannabinoids.

Im finding I vastly prefer the hemp buds through the volcano. It tastes better, and (especially now that i removed the chamber reducer) it seems to work better because of the large herb capacity.

Definitely reminds me its more of a medical device than some of the other vapes I have.

The best way I found to clean my other vaporizer screens (Crafty, SSV screens) is to drop them into my Volcano Easy valve chamber while I'm blowing bags at high temp (normally reclaim with cotton), then rub them with the brush after.
If they're really gunked up you can just repeat this. Or tough particles can be moved with a pin.
Any actives get blown into the bag as a bonus!

This is much better than torching them, and in my location it's easier and cheaper than soaking them in iso.

I'm approaching 3 years with Volcano and it has been all great, i can't believe how nothing has ever blackened or burned no matter what or how tight I pack in there or how high I set it!
It works as good as new and I got great use from it so far, just so easy to vape with this.
Looking forward to a future of safer, cheaper Volcano chamber filling material, hopefully!

I have an original Voclano vaporizer with the solid valve, and it's awesome.

I noticed that some vapor was leaking out around the neck of the solid valve. So I changed the bag, and now there is even more vapor leaking out the neck.

I checked and it looks like I have everything set up correctly. I can't stop the bag from leaking. Has anyone else had this problem, and do you know how to fix it?

My thought is that there is way too much bag material and no way to stop it from bunching around the neck. But I'm not sure how to solve that problem.

You can try adding an extra o ring for extra snugness under the slipring. I found that made a big difference for me on both the solid valve and the easy valve with replaceable balloon

1) i only consume at night but then i re-dose around every hour. i just read some where that the digital one switched off after a certain time is this true? and if so after what time?

2) what is the difference between a medical unit and a normal unit?

1) Get the classic. The digital has a 30 minute automatic shutoff, which made it useless for me. I medicate every hour or so too, and the auto shut off was so inconvenient that I gave the unit to my sister and bought a classic.

Because the volcano really works best after a 15 to 20 minute warm-up, the auto shut off meant that just when I was ready to medicate again after an hour, it had shut down and completely cooled down. So I either had to remember to turn it on again when it turned off or wait another 20 min to medicate, which was not workable. I leave my classic on from 5 AM to midnight every day (I have it on an outlet timer), so it is always ready when I need it.

2) medical units have to pass government mandated safety and quality control requirements, recreational units do not. I don’t know the specifics on which country is granting them medical status, but it’s basically just proving your product does what it says it does medically speaking, and that it isn’t harmful in some way.

Nice to hear that your volcano basically runs all day without problems! Mine will be on all evening too then. I think it will be worse for the unit to "reheat" it every hour or so.

1) I don’t know if or how the units differ. You would have to contact the company or official vendors to find that information out. To be honest, I didn’t even know they were offering medical versus non-medical units, I just know about the process of getting something declared a medical device
