I thought I would hate bag vapes, and thought the Volcano frivolous when I wore a SLIGHTLY younger man's clothes.
I bumped into a digi for a fair figure and loved it, but being a sucker (really... no shit I am!!)for a hurting patient in need, I gave it up.
I missed it the very next day in spite of half a hundred personal vapes in my home.
I got another immediately (from @VapeWorld ) and life was again in balance.
When the incident occurred that was a unit that I sorely missed, and in fact downright needed to make my delivery systems complete.
Just accomplished a dream I've had for years and bought a Volcano Digital off VaporNation. Cannot wait!
worthy dream, and worthy unit.

I was just wondering if you happen to remember if that included a valve system or just the base? I'm currently hunting around for one and can't recall what the cost was on MD with valves as opposed to just the base

Back up now. $344 (ending price) with bags. But now there's no digi model available.

Just almost tackled my mailman and got the Volcano today.:razz::razz::razz:

I couldn't be happier. I just took my first rip off of it and man... it truly is the Ferrari of vaporizers. I've been combusting for far far too long. That was the first rip in a long time that I got all of and didn't hurt my lungs.

I consider myself an Olympic Team World Class smoker but one bag just took me to a land of happiness and joy.

I can't stop staring at this thing. I can't believe I finally own one.:razz::razz::razz:

Big ups to VaporNation. They're a great business.

OK - I just about have myself talked into a Classic on Massdrop. Can't beat the price.

But I'd had my heart set on a Digital. I know it's not any "better" than the Classic - but I liked the idea of at least "knowing" the temperature rather than eyeballing it with a knob.

Anyone here have a Classic and wish they'd gone withe the Digi? Or should I just get off my ass and get moving?

Thanks in advance.

I'm totally happy with the classic. Less to go wrong as well.

My buddy has a classic, I love it. knowing exact temp is meaningless to me.. gotta judge by feel for each diff strain anyway, in my opinion

The only benefit I see in the digital is that the temp goes much lower so better for really heat sensitive herbs...

After using a SSV and other vapes lacking specific temperature readouts I grew very comfortable with the numerical settings on the volcano. Even moreso after correlating each number to a temperature, as published by the company. You'll be in good hands :)

Serious question, how sturdy are these Volcanos? I've read over and over that they're best but I've seen little personal experience about that online.

I use and abuse my pieces. This Volcano will be taken care of but it's going to be used a lot day and day out. I bought a Chinese knock-off Volcano a few years ago that lasted about a week and most of my vaporizers last a couple months.

What have your experiences been?

My brothers is 3 years old and it's a champ. I've honestly never had a vape break down yet.

Edit-he has a classic

IMO, there's not a better built vaporizer currently on the market. The Volcano can be fairly criticized for its limitation to only filling bags, but its build quality is beyond reproach

They both are rock solid with the Classic being the more sturdy of the 2. I have really only heard of problems with the digital display as the most common issue. No digital read out no digital read out problems:)

Knowing I'd have the same doubts next time the digi came up on Massdrop about the need for the display, I went ahead and bit the bullet. Ordered the Classic today. Not a huge fan of the variability in temperature (9.7 degrees?!) but I figure it doesn't need to be exact. Now the wait begins!

Hello everyone, been lurking around this thread for sometime. I have been contemplating on getting a volcano for quite sometime.

I currently own an e nano and while its a great log vape, frankly I am getting lazy and tired of all these variability outputs that I need to go through, just to get the perfect high. Its not just the e nano, I have owned a vaporbrothers box set and was introduced to bag vaping through the Arizer Extreme q, which I owned, but was kinda dissapointed by its performance.

I did not dig bag vaping in the beginning, because coming from a smoking background, I wanted something that replicated smoking. I noticed that recently, I am not getting the high that I used to get in the beginning of vaping. The type of high that I enjoy. Although, the type of bud that I get is not all that great and my options for different strains is very limited. I did notice that the few times I bagged vaped, I got pretty blasted, to the point I had to take a seat and gather my thoughts. This is the type of high that I am looking for. Now, I am looking into bag vaping again.

Would this be a true statement? Does bag vaping get you higher, or was this just something in my head?

well, with that said, I just need a push, Can you guys/gals please convince me to get a volcano.

Congrats!! Yeah, I wouldn't sweat the temp variability, just give yourself some time to learn the device and you'll have it working perfectly before long.

Love the Tintin avatar, I'm due for a re-reading :)

It sounds to me like you need one, now just tell yourself you deserve one.
Is the Enano the only one you own because if you vape a lot & enjoy it you need to at least get a couple of different types.
Vape signatures are a real thing. I realised that after I bought my third one but I called it something else before I came here.
Like a lot of people I have several I rotate & I always reach for something different.
I've had a Volcano classic with an easy valve attachment for almost two years & I still really like it.
As people have said the sheer volume the Volcano puts out makes a huge difference & imo it has an awesome vape signature.
I've never regretted buying mine even though they're way cheaper now.
I'm currently rotating an Enano Evo Volcano & a Mighty clone & the only time I'm hesitant to use the Volcano is when I need fresh bags.
Good luck deciding, you'll definitely have some fun if you get one.

I have a very similar background and had the exact same skeptism. I did not like the idea of bag vaping at all and being an older fella I almost felt odd doing it, if that makes any sense. I guess I viewed the bags as a young man/woman's thing at a party or something along those lines. Somewhere along the line I had too much time on my hands and decided on an impulse to go get a volcano(classic) and the solid valve kit and give it a go. Now I still don't think it is the most practical machine for MY needs but I will give it a giant thumbs up regardless based on the machine itself. I put together about a 2' bag and filled it with vapor and was seeing stars. Very cerebral high that seemed to just peel away different levels as time passed, one minute very content with the permagrin on my face and the next second I had to be outside and doing the "overstoned" pacing routine, and then back to the permagrin stage Very powerful machine that I can STRONGLY recommend based on your above posted needs/wants.

I can definately Identify with the feeling odd and out of place because you feel as if this is a younger generation thing and also the going outside for fresh air because of being overstoned and pacing routine. I like the overstone journey and the different levels it brings, though the pacing comes along with it sometimes, I sometimes dont mind that. I will definately give this machine a go, thank you for your reply and everybody else as well.

Been absolutely loving my volcano. Storz and Bickel's customer service is top notch too. Realized after closer inspection that I was missing a screw and a rubber foot, asked Storz and Bickel about replacements and they shipped them out USPS 2 day free of charge.

Been really enjoying sprinkling some bubble hash on top of my bowls. Makes for some extremely dense potent vapor. Sometimes I have fairly bad stomach pain in the morning and cannabis usually makes it better but having to pull on my LSV would sometimes make it worse. The volcano has made a huge difference in that area for me.

Are there any better deals for Volcano classic with solid valve? Maybe a discount code. Im looking at Storz and Bickle site and they are going for $479. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if you'd be willing to buy used but there's a classic up for sale in the classifieds for $325.
