Ok my fellow Vapers. I've just received my Box-O-Goodies ( that included Digital Cano with Easy Valve Kit, Solid Valve Kit, 2 extra boxes Bag Material, Easy Valve Wear and Tear Kit. Plus free stuff) from Vapor Nation last night & unboxed. First impressions are this thing is Solidly Built & has some Weight to it. Looks to be Manufactured Extremely Well! 
So I ground up my Medical Grade Bud using the included grinder, which worked well. Filled up the Easy Valve filling chamber, set the temp to 365 & proceeded to fill up & consume 3 bags. Mmm what TASTY and COMFORTABLE vapor! WOW!
The density of the vapor was Awesome! Kicked it up to 390. Much Thicker/ Denser Vapor. Not as comfortable, a little harsher, kinda toasty popcorny
, but still surprisingly cool. 
My MiniVap is way hotter. So I've much more testing to do over the next several days/weekend. But I think I'm in LOVE! I'll be sure to keep everyone up to date with my progress & I'll try to add something to the thread as well as keep up to date with reading here, still have a few pages to read to finish this whole thread.

So after reading through the thread Ive seen some common themes. In no paticular order. Price is a big topic. Whether its worth the money. Another I noticed was where alot of people dial in on the classic ( 6 - 7.5) . The unit for the most part even with heavy use still operates like day 1 after years of abuse. Putting the bag on after you see vapor gives better visible vapor but sacrifices flavor in the first bag. Solid valve saves money in the long run. You can recycle ez valves (not indefinitely). Store bought turkey/oven bags as replacements are ok but storz and bickel bags are the best. Correct me on any of these or if you want to add anything to best practices feel free to share. I get mine tomorrow. My final observation from reading this thread is that you better not fuckin say the volcano is the best or there will be hell to pay. Lol. Happy Vaping. I recommend you to try it first if you haven't done already. The quality is top and I love mine but bag vapes are different and some users may have some mixed feelings with the experience.
In my case I find the total lack of air restriction a minor annoyance and prefer the drag of my crafty but many would consider it a pro, depends on preference and situation.
Also not being able to gradually enjoy the first flavors without having them mixed in the bag or having to use a very small bag to do so may also be a minor inconvenience.
My only real issue is the fragility of the bags, too many pointed things around me
Everything said it's a monster and the party master, if you go for it try finding a way to stick it to a water tool for max enjoyment
If you want precision go for the digital (+- 2ºC), if you want fast temp change go analog (but +- 5ºC), both are good choices.

Thanks for the info. I have tried the volcano and I am impressed. I have a mighty and crafty and thought the volcano would be a great compliment. Ive tried water with a few of my vapes but I prefer dry hits. Water for me just keeps things interesting maybe once or twice a month. As for the volcano being bag only I was considering a herbalizer but with what I read about the companys stability I opted for s&b who isnt going anywhere.

Wholeheartedly disagree.
Solid Valve is good, but costs time in the long run, and needs more maintenance.
I have both, and stopped using Solid Valve a long while back.
More people buy Classic due to the price... it costs up to $100 less.
Same in all threads that boast Vaporizers over 200 dollars.
Just read that discussion over a $250 Pax2 ... and then again in 3 other threads.
When it comes to quality vapes, price is always a part of the discussion....
BUT.. similarly in the less costly vape threads, the low cost is generally a part of the topic's discussion.
Cost always does matter to users.
The hell with the opposition!
If you love your Volcano as the best vape, after it is at your home.... say it is the best!

The EZ Valve (once the process is tried) can be replaced with new bags also. (process at http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/volcano.220/page-67#post-753029)
Give it time... you will compare plenty of desktops!

I've only used the solid valve on mine. At this point I would not switch, after six years, I think I could disassemble, clean it, and put a bag on it with my eyes closed, lol. It's like an old friend. I'm very comfortable with it. I don't think I've even changed a screen in it, I just keep cleaning them and the herb chamber with alcohol.
Lately because I got the wear and tear kit, i included a bag order, I've been using S&B bags, but mostly it's extra large turkey roasting bags. I can get them much easier.
Because I now have four vapes, I semi retired my volcano. It comes out with multiple users now days, but it fits that role well. It's like "old reliable"

Its been a while since Ive been hit so heavy. Thank you volcano. I had to stop after 4 bags. I was where I like to be at 1.5 bags but my curiosity of how many bags kept me powering through. But I conceded defeat after bag 4 at 7.5 on the dial. Material golden brown and definately not done with maybe 2 more bags to go.

In my experience with the volcano, it hits hard if you pack it full with just enough space to put the liquid pad. I just did that and was put out of commission on bag #2.

I discovered this yesterday. Just enough material to cover the screen with the liquid pad gets 2 nice bags 1 ok bag and 1 last whispy bag. That amount is barely more than I put in my mighty/crafty so Id say compared all the vapes I own the volcano is in fact very efficient and doesnt have to be a material hog as I initially thought.

I picked a Volcano Digi from our good friend on the forum @Michel. Pleasure doing business with this guy, recommended if anyone buys stuff off him in the future
I've had it for about a month, I love it! The first couple of bags taste awesome. I've been sticking to 210c and packing out the chamber. First two bags are lovely dense thick vapour, bag is totally white. It's nice having zero draw resistance and inhaling fulsome cool vapour.
After using almost exclusively the mighty the initial taste on this blew me away. Really do feel like I'm getting the real flavour. A full bag packs a punch too. I did 3 bags in a row and that was as close as I had come to a whitey for a long time. The bags are exactly the right size for a session.
Bad points would be the noise, both the pump and the crinkling of the bag. Even after you finish the bag it makes a crinkling noise for ages. And the bags are not the most glamorous delivery system, you do feel like a bit of a glue sniffer. It is however very effective for producing potent, tasty cool vapour. Also when I remove the chamber after heating I get a decent amount of vapour leaking. Should also mention I'm using the easy valves.
It's a different experience to the mighty and compliments it nicely. Hard to say if it's worth buying new, the tech is constantly improving and this machine has been around for 13 years. But it's built like a tank, does exactly what it says in the tin, and I'm very happy with it. Time for another bag

I have recently purchased a Mighty portable vaporizer so my Volcano has been set aside. This concerns be because I like the Volcano very much but have no reason to use it. I'd like to set it up as a water vaporizer. Are there any kits available ora simple part list to get my Volcano set up properly. I appreciate your input. Thanks!

It's funny but I never thought about how old the design is. Since it predates my exposure to vaping, I assumed it was invented around the time of Christ. Was the first Volcano really 13 years ago?

Last night I loaded up my volcano 75% full and let the heating chamber sit on it for a minute before pressing the fan button. A single bag and I was blasted!
Nothing like having multiple vaporizers to choose from depending on mood and needs.

Why would you leave the filling chamber sit on top of the unit while it was at full temp? Wouldn't that case the material to heat up and release some THC into the abyss? I always put my filling chamber on just prior to engaging the fan.
