i think it is highly ridiculous that they came with the new inlay and ring email two weeks ago and till now nothing is shipped...really great solution.. maybe next time send emails when the stuff is ready to ship!
it is the same as with my request for a refund, they just don´t have the people to handle all this...which shows how S & B is operated, for a german based company with a branch in the US they seem really understaffed.
that being said, i´ve called two times now, i was patient, friendly and sympathetic...if i have to call a third time next week i will be not so nice anymore, that is for sure.
at this point i just want to be done with this thing and company, i have absolutely no interest to use any of their devices in the future at all
I don't have a fight in this anymore since I sold my basically new hybrid. but I feel your pain, I was very stressed about this situation everyday. for such an expensive device, we should be getting much better customer service from storz. I was asking very simple questions to storz via email when all this blew up, they would take forever to answer. every email would be very vague with "we are working on it", "we are looking into it" with a link to the new cleaning instructions, and when I asked about getting a refund because of all the issues we were having and I chose to no longer use this device, I got another dam email weeks later with a link to the new cleaning instructions. I knew right then and there this was not going to be RMA'd the way it should have been done in the first place, and when I heard about the new fix that to me does not look like a true fix, that's when I decided to let her go, it was not easy to do this. its ashame because its an awesome machine, the very best I have ever used. I hope storz does the right thing by there loyal customers. I still think they could redeem themselves if they do the right things fast, they need to RMA everyone who wants to be RMA'd and give everyone wether they received a new chamber/ring or got RMA'd a nice hefty coupon or store credit for all the hassle, disappointment and time not using this device, its only right.
We have a rule against company bashing and we've not been enforcing it as perhaps we should've been lately in this thread. I wasnt going to get one, mainly because i feel i already invested alot in my analog and that i havnt "used" it up yet- But i have a IRL m8 now asking me if i want to buy at 350€ "here and now" and i almost feel sorry for him, might just buy it? Sounds cheap to me?

Has anyone actually tried to purchase the new insert instead of doing the RMA? Interested to see if they ship immediately if you pay lol, I have a feeling they will. I might actually try since I need a new housing anyway.

Here too, using it daily, no device I've tried produces the vapor this thing does. Haven't even changed the way I use it.

I got a Flowermate for work the other day just because I'm sick of having to sit in my car looking like a crackhead heating up a dynavap. I'm not so sure about it so far, don't get much flavour, and ff2 is hella annoying to keep stirring on the go.
