Vleaf Go: on-demand convection herb vaporizer!

I have had the Go for a few days now because it is finally available in Europe.
It works great and has no aftertaste.
from the taste is better than the hopper io for me.

It produces a lot of steam for 2 sessions for me, the third session it gets a little weaker.

for the price top.

and woow, I would not have thought that he is so beautifully small and especially thin. almost as thin as the hopper and a lot shorter

It's a shame that so few herbs fit into the herb chamber.

it's nice that you can disassemble the device. So the herb chamber etc. but there are many small parts. lol

how much do you all get mostly in the chamber?

Contemplating getting this for the Gf. We have narrowed down that her vape style is convection. She loves my firefly 2+ for flavour and what not but has issues using it. Trying to find her an easy to use convection vape that produces solid amount of vapor and does not get hot. I’ve read reports that the vapor on this beast does get hot.

Unfortunately I think you're going to have to spend more money, to get an easy to use convection unit for her, I'm not sure I would say this one is easier than FF at all and the vapor is certainly hot without any add-on...

I love some of the things that distinguish the Go from the IO, price among them, and reliability. There's no threading of things all the time, the built-in scoop and tamper/pick work well. Performance is relatively consistent (for me).
I rarely use heat setting above green (I use orange at bowl 3 or 4 as battery fizzles out a bit). And even with green I am mindful to turn off before the end of hit (and before charring may occur).

Sorry I don't measure or weigh the amounts, but I do use two chambers in Go where one might do in a hopper. Yeah, it's small; I typically finish a bowl in 3 hits.

Be mindful not to over-pack, this can push against the screen and the silicone tube the screen sits on.

From Ddave comes the screen-only.
The tube is in the Go mouthpiece already.
They call it the cooling tube or something like that.
The difference is in how the screen sits in/on that tube.

This, from @bossman may help:

thx very much for you help.

but i am not completely understand because bossmans picture shows a black hard plastic tube where the screen is sitting and i have this original

(the same as seen with ddave in the picture. but i thought it was only the screens to buy at ddave. I'm still not sure if there is a hard plastic tube to go with it.)

I have this tube made of silicone and on it sits a silver steel cap where the screen is inside. with bossman this is not a silver steel cap but it is black like with DDAVEs mod

The tube bossman shows is not hard plastic, it is the same tube Dave is showing, it is the silicone tube that press-fits inside the mouthpiece.
Go standard screen is housed in a small metal cap that slips over the end of that silicone tube.
Dave's is simply a flat screen that will sit in a groove that is in the rim of the silicone tube.
I think there are spares of these in the box to you can look at.

I'm (roughly) measuring 8mm, but...
I think you could open the extra (the spare) tube, remove the metal sleeve screen housing, and see the little recess where new screen will fit, then measure.

I still think this is a really underrated vape. For the price, everyone should grab it. The vapor is very hot when used natively, but it's great for a quick rip on the go.

Since I found it fits in one of my keep2go tubes, it's my water vape. Since it's mouthpiece in, you never get it dirty. Very easy to unscrew, slide out, hold the button for a puff or two, then slide it back in. Handy for pausing on the water just long enough not to fall off!

I've had mine for years, but I think this is the same one that fits it https://www.bluedesert-shop.com/product-page/keep2go-large-travel-tube-container

I agree. I think the vape is fantastic and at such a low price, I think it's almost free.

it is not perfect because of the small battery and the chamber could be a little bigger, but at the price it has to be accepted.

Right now I use the vape the most and only at home. Somehow the effect FOR ME is stronger with the vape than with others, and with less herbs.

Because so small battery i bought more of this vape yesterday.:sherlock:

I've been experimenting with the Starry V3. Anyone here that has both the V-Leaf and the Starry that can provide a review?

Is that rum in the other tube?

I do, but they are kinda polar opposites in every way but bang for the buck. What do you want to know?
And now there's this, the XMax V3Pro; https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/xmax-v3pro-vaporizer-convection-on-demand-session.51535/
Looks like it tries to address both convection and conduction preferences? on-demand or sesh? Not sure these are do-able in one device (and I've not tried any XMax products), but curious to see how it is received.

Close! It's Evan Williams 100 proof bonded bourbon. Like the Go, it's compact and potent. :D

I'm very curious about the V3Pro, thanks for posting it! I'll say this, the on demand nature of the Go is one of it's strong suits. If the V3Pro can't do that, then it's more like a rogue. The other thing the Go has over the starry and this new vape (and others...) is the ability to clean the whole airpath. It's very easy to take apart these components and clean them.
