VIP from SSV

Ran into any problems yet Vito? Which one do you like between the 2 now that it has been some time since release

I have run into no problems other than on slow working VIP1 Heater, but I described to you the "4 hole clearing method" I used to set that right.
I like both, but have used the VIP1 more often, because I had more Wax than tincture or "pure gold".
If it were the other way around I would like the VIP2 more!

Vito, I'm looking for a nice easy to load ceramic chamber preferred cartomizer that will fit onto my ego c twist 510 battery. I saw the VIP heater on the website, pretty expensive, and doesnt look like it comes with the mouth tip that you need to work with it. Is it worth it? Will it work on this battery. What cart do you like best for shatter/wax? I was looking at the Omicron but this VIP looks promising, just a big price tag. But if I can get it to work on my twist, that would be cool. Will it need an adapter?

I haven't an idea in the world if it will fit.
I know the unit works well with Shatter/ wax....
I have not tested any of the units I test with unoriginal parts.

Thanks for the reply, I guess I'll be going with the omicron cart. I saw Cena Wong says they are like 510 threading, but unique. And they dont seem to sell the mouthpeice. Probably so you cant mix and match. Looks like a nice unit.

Any comments on the Omicron vito? Havnt seen you mention it (love your posts though)

Anyone try bubble hash in the VIP1 yet?
Im about to have a bunch of it on my hands...I was thinking it may be about time to finally get a pen...and if the VIP1 can handle bubble hash well...then...im gonna be a owner soon haa

The VIP1 is for waxes and puttys and BHO
Bubble hash is none of those.
It will not work in a pen made to consume oils.

Bubble hash is made using water.
There is a process that can be used to get "super melt" bubble hash....
which is totally clear and melts 100%, but this is an extremely rare product whose makers are usually reluctant to get rid of.
Bubble hash is dry enough in many cases to crumble completely and vape as one would vape herb.
I vape bubble hash in my MFLB, SSV, LSV, DBV, Volcano, Solo as a regular habit... and in a few other vapes too.
Sometimes if the bubble hash is a bit tacky I use a bed of ABV or herb to vaporize it.

The tincture that I started a month ago, I decanted, strained, and put some in the VIP2 (okay, I did that on Saturday).

Yeah, with oil, you would use Everclear to do something called winterizing. You can blast your weeds with butane or ISO alcohol to extract the oils, but even then the solvent will pull some plant waxes as well, which destroy carts really fast. The Everclear is of a different polarity, so it will pull other waxes that the first solvent didn't get rid of. It's an easy way to refine your oil even more. I imagine that it would also make it easier to dissolve the winterized oil into the VG, making it easier to vape as well as easier on whatever tool you're using to vape it. Have a look at some of the videos on youtube that show you winterizing, you'll see what I mean when they get to the filtration stage.

She is talking about vaporizing Edible Glycerin Tincture, and then she mentions
"whole" tincture.. made with everclear... also an edible tincture.

Am I confused again Vito . Badkitty talks about vaporized glycerin using vg and everclear that is what started to confuse me cause you said you can't vape EC. It is basically the same recipe you all use but she furthers it by using the everclear to get out more actives.

It matters little who says what (bigkitty etc).
I can only give advice based on my own experience.
I can only say what I know works.
I will not try big kittys recipe.. not adding water to glycerin, or adding everclear to it.
There is no reason to try it. I like the way mine comes out.
I say.... you can not vape everclear tincture while there is alcohol in it.

There is glycerin tincture...
and there is everclear tincture
If I want more actives I use the second (IT IS EDIBLE NOT FOR ECIG USE)

BTW I think the vip2 is helping keep me topped off. I am still not sure about why it feels like my head is in a vise when I take hits or just after to be exact.

Decide if that temporary vise sensation is worth being "topped off".
(I mean does the topped off feeling outlast the vise?)

That is what I am evaluating and I am still not sure. The headaches that I thought were worse from the vaping may not be from that. With so much allergies some times it takes time to tell. I went out to the groomer yesterday and only did two PN bullets and topped the rest of the time with the vip. I am just about cleared up from allergy season. I think a few more weeks or a rain should do it for me to know.

I definitely enjoy the vip2 a whole bunch. It feels like I went back in time and am smoking ciggs again. I love the ease of use but I do have to clean it but it is really easy.

BTW a silicone piece came out while I was cleaning it and it was from the black tube that goes over the metal atomizer thingy. I left it out with no issue. What is if for?

if it is what I think it is it is for snugness and stabilization of the atomizer within the tube....
UNLESS it has a hole in center.. then you may be talking about the "cap" for the cartridge~

the silicone sleeve goes into the gold end to stabilize the atomizer..
Put it in that end then re-assemble all.

Hello I am a vape pen newb and I have the vip1 on the way. I noticed that it only comes with a usb cord to charge. So I assume it will charge hooked up to my computer. Is it ok to plug that into a ac adapter for a phone? Or would you suggest I order the adaptor from the 7th floor website. I am really excited about getting my pen and I don't want to mess it up right away. Thanks if anyone has time to reply.

I want to say it seems safe... but I am a bit cautious about that stuff myself.
I have an adapter, but to date have only charged my unit from the keyboard of my computer.
