Combustion can happen on high settings. The heat from this unit can be a bit high, from 0F to 720F. You will know your sweat spot from the voltage readout. with our adapter bowls, the herb will never touch the heating element.@Leiana
Nice 2nd vid .
So it looks like the heater in the Versa , Never comes in contact with the herbs . Therefore , no combustion will happen .
Can you please clarify ?
Snipped my favorite part2. The worlds first all glass concentrates bowl to utilize mesh glass was born.
We will know more tomorrow or Thursday when we demo the new concentrates bowl at a local MMJ club. Footage will be taken.
LMAO!Snipped my favorite part
(Below is my reaction reading #2)
LMAO!
UPDATE!!!!
The glass manufacturer just dropped the vaporizer body for the first time in the shop. The floor was slightly padded similar to house carpet. "Ding" It bounced and didnt break. He says it fell directly on the joint itself. (He called it a doer style joint.)
AAAAANNND We are still upgrading to a thicker glass. according to the glass manufacturer our old model was 2.4mm thickness. We are now at 5mm.
Be careful with your betas because we are making the glass on an immediate basis and would like to save us all a little money.
The new bowl is here... <3
Beta Launch participants:
When I get back from the manufacturer I will focus on your invoicing process and email each and every one of you a link where you can fill out shipping info and pay.
For those of you who havent inquired you have until Thursday. Payment should be made by next Monday.
I am off to the bat cave.
A VIDEO IS COMING TODAY FOR SURE!
Just to be certain, the betas will be the thicker glass, right?
I took it to mean that in order to expedite the Beta process they'd be sending out already existing thinner walled units and that future/production models would be the thicker glass.
But I'm sure she'll clear that up too.
Yes, we are at 5mm for all units now and forever.Just to be certain, the betas will be the thicker glass, right?
We will provide you with a 14mm adapter if you need it. I'll make note.@Leiana
This all sounds good .
Obviously , we'll need our own bong to pair with the Versa .
I have a 14mm downstem .
So what exactly will I need to get , to hook it up with the Versa ?
I think you said the Versa is 18mm male joint ?
My gmail address will have poonman in it .
I want to start the New Year off with a BANG .
Happy New Year everyone .
Nope 5mm from here on out.I took it to mean that in order to expedite the Beta process they'd be sending out already existing thinner walled units and that future/production models would be the thicker glass.
But I'm sure she'll clear that up too.
We cant use the thinner glass for the mods that have been made. Your models will be future proof. It reads to me like the current unit is 5mm as he says we "now" have as compared to what "was." I read his caution message to mean that if we drop and break our betas, we won't be able to get a new one because they are making them on demand. Seems they would want betas to test as close as possible to what will be on the market rather than an already outdated model before the betas even went out.
We dont do pre-ordering here. We have a working model that is used on a daily basis by a small control group. You are basically paying to be a part of that control group. We will close the doors for purchasing units in early January until further notice. These beta units will feel the thread with experiences and practices. Once we shut down the beta program, you can pre-order for the next launch which is early spring.Haven't gotten complete details from Leiana(beautiful name, is that Aphroditian?), and pre-apologies if this has been covered and I missed it, but does anyone know how this beta run will differ from pre-ordering?
You will have these beta units in early-Mid January if you pay by next week. After the beta is closed, it moves into pre-ordering.Well @Leiana does state it's a beta launch in the post .
So I'm guessing we are pre-ordering a beta unit .
On their site , it also says they will start to ship in Spring of 2014 Fingers crossed , of course .
I hope they're correct about the 700 + degrees it can reached
for wax/concentrates . Vid plz .
A Glass Evo? One thing these products may have in common would likely be high performance but the Infinity is what vape distributors call a Hybrid Vaporizer. Multiple modes, multiple bowls, multiple heating elements, analog & digital interface. It's built on a quick disconnect design for the fastest upgrades and repairs. We are 100% American made and built. It looks or seems very similar to a glass cloud/EVO. Looks really cool but I don't know how much the market needs this.
Especially if our vapor passes fiberglass covered wiring? The EVO is a concealed vapor path.
I'm all for all glass but not if something is in the way. Also, how much control do we have over our temperature and where is the thermostat?
I took it to mean groundbreaking at least in the area of desktop vaporizers since that's what it is and what the Persei (arguably) isn't (excluding The Core power adapter). I can't come up with another existing desktop vape company that currently offers the ability to upgrade/mod their vape out of the box and sells/plans to sell user-serviceable upgrades. The closest we get is log vape manufacturers updating heating cores as needed. You also mention how this is ground breaking because it's modular or self upgradeable. Is that a joke, mods are plastered across ebay, ever heard of the Persei
Yes we include a list of accessories & will likely prioritize new bowl releases to those who have written helpful reviews for the company along the way. Thanks for all the helpful and prompt responses. Bodes well.
Will the Beta testers have access to just the base unit or will any of the extras (like the above pictured concentrate bowl) be available for testing too?
"Open up any vaporizer that has an exposed ceramic element and you'll see how many inches of wire sleeving is exposed normally."I so appreciate your answer for the most part but your actually incorrect about the air path.
I may not agree with everything that was in the original cloud and I have not looked inside an EVO but by design along with the bamboo there is no, none, zero, interface with any of the clouds internals.
The same stands for the herbalizer and even the hundred dollar vapulation. They allow you to open it and others like vaporfection on the vivape in which they completely isolate their airpath from any wiring as well.
Now I'm not saying that's a deal breaker but it certainly isn't factual. You also mention how this is ground breaking because it's modular or self upgradeable. Is that a joke, mods are plastered across ebay, ever heard of the Persei?
I'm not saying this thin doesn't look cool, but it ain't changing the game. Especially when compared incorrectly to other products.
This is a beta soft launch which is different than a normal beta test. The units themselves are finalized hardware. We need a small controlled group of users who will daily drive these units.Sorry for the double post, where does wiring get in the airpath on an lsv, dbv, ssv...
I wish companies picked beta testers based on their knowledge of vaporization, not their ability to pre-pay for a device.
