My Venty just gave up last night displaying the Error 04 :(
One thing I noticed over the last week or so is that the Venty made some (very quiet) ratting sound when I was drawing. At first I thought it might be the screen bending when I pull but then I realized it only occurs when the heater seems to be "adjusting", not during initial heat up though...
anybody else noticed that?

Mine yesterday after charge code E04,performed 10 second reset, working. Last Venty had E04 then E05 would Not reset.
Fingers crossed and Further testing/ Medicating to ensure reliability. Hold power button 10 plus seconds to Reset,Good Luck

Touch wood, but I've not had any issues with my Venty, ordered early January.

Using a 10mm ID, 14mm OD, silicone whip that I'd normally use for the Volcano. Took a bit of work with the help of some pliers to make the whip a little more malleable but works perfectly now.

Since doing this I've not used my Venty in any other way, completely open paired with a small glass piece.

He’s right there’s no way to update it. I have 1.05 because it is my second replacement, it’s just a few weeks old.
Just an email from SnB ,i asked about this
iam an 1.05 and no updates but this has fixed the no vibration at end of superboost it now does ,
flow sensor. Is more sensitive so no more pressing buttons to keep it on ,a sips enough i had in on for more than half an hour only pressing the up and down to change temps ,makes everything seem less rushed ,big difference
SnB say that a 1.06 version is coming ,they didnt say exactly but no point trying updates until it does as at the moment you cant but when 1.06 comes you will be able too update from then on

I got my Venty about 2 weeks ago now and I've been enjoying it a lot. I don't know how much more than my Mighty + but it's definitely better.

Was wondering if anyone had put ruby pearls in the cooling unit rather than the screen that sits there. or perhaps both ?

Interesting! Haven't done it, but seems like it might restrict the airflow too much?

i actually bought a cooling stem from Sneaky Pete. Has beads in it already. I get tired of the screen in the cooling unit getting crammed out when my wife overfills it...this seems to help, and it cools quite well

Yeah-- I feel like there are plenty of additional cooling options for once the vapor leaves the Venty unit, so may not be worth messing with the air path internally before that point.

Also, I think a lot of people do this already-- but definitely change the top screen to the same fine mesh that the bottom one has. Less particles make it into the unit, and it's WAY easier to clean.

Pretty sure someone posted exactly what you describe with the cooling beads. They added a bunch. Maybe on reddit?

Speaking of, big thread there about the persons 4th bricked Venty.

I agree it seems to cool, further testing. I used 2 & 3mm,Ruby, & zirconia . Not sure how many but will count when cleaning the CU.I also left the rectangular screen in.

Any USA sources for this, or vendors shipping to the US?

Strange, I am usually sensitive to hot air from vaps but I see no point at all to further cool the Venty. At least for me but I usually stay below 200 C. I am a happy camper between 180-195C.
Ditto... even at 210 I have no real need to cool down the vapor. I've used this about 10 times a day since I bought it, and I have only good feedback on it. I hope that's not anomalous and that it's the experience of most users.

Got my Venty out for delivery tomorrow! Platinum capsules as well that were posted on this thread from a Berlin headship. I finally live in a country where weed will be legal. Go Germany!

SEARCH for the treasure...
I watched the video, and while I know he said he only used it a few days,…
The S&B “Filling Aid”, is listed in the S&B Venty accessory page, but out of stock.
I totally disagree with his opinion on the variable airflow. Loved that in my first session….

Really enjoying the Venty a couple of weeks into owning one, but I wanted to ask: has anybody in the US managed to find a decent solution for reducing the capacity of dosing capsules? Shipping for these to the US is $50-something, and I think the glass chamber reducers from POTV don't fit inside the capsules (just inside the chamber). The closest I've found are these, but the largest diameter ones are still a little small for the S&B capsules.

Have you got a basket screen lying around (thinking like the rimmed ones for the Arizer Solo/Air)? That could work as an alternative to the dosing capsule for microdosing
