There's another one that's sorta similar. It's sold by the guys at Elevate called the Super Surfer (forced air) or the Silver Surfer (traditional).

yeah bigger, thinner more fragile bowl. you got to turn it up to a higher heat level, the herb sets further away from oven. get what makes you happy but remember this is a vb fc subject channel. also the vb injector head and heater are superior i think.

I’m ordering supplies for a DIY upgrade from V1 to V1.5. I plan on going with 4 mm rubies. Does anybody have an idea how many I would need for the conversion? Thanks

60pc 4mm
do you know how to adjust the min and max voltage adjustable pods? you may not need too but tuning it in makes the factory shop version superior.
tbh- the dyi version is still a big heater upgrade. you need some electronic equipment for a precise dial-in of min and max voltage. the dyi vb1.5 box ball vape kit will get you close enough according a electrical hacker friend lol

I was just going to add the rubies like in bing’s video.. I got around 60 of the balls in from VGoodiEZ, but didn’t look like enough in the package, so wanted to be sure before I opened it up. I have a volt meter, but no idea how to adjust. Are there instructions for that anywhere? Honestly, I don’t even know if I need a ball type vape as I don’t take big hits, but this seemed like the most cost effective way to find out. Thanks for the info.

I'm thinking of getting the 1.5 as my one-and-done home vape and I have a glass piece I think might function similar to the viper attachment pending fitment. Could someone provide the diameter of the wide end of the whip handpiece? This is a huge investment for me so it would be great if I could use what I already have.

I don’t have dimensions, but they sell water pipe adapters for the whip hoses. I got a 14 mm one for when I go through water and swap in the regular mouthpiece when I just want to use the whip.

the bowl end is 16mm and they have ez hands free and then the thin hand-on while vaping. get ez hands-free. call or email them for diameter of viper end piece that goes in silicone sleeve/bowl connector. i do not know what your asking tbh

Hola,
Approx 16mm . (dead on 16mm using an 80mm brass caliper)
The ceramic screens are .625in or 15.8mm .
Pro tip- The quick change sleeve may split if forced to accommodate more than 16.5mm. (vape bands FTW)

I definitely could have phrased my question better. I was hoping that instead of spending additional money on the viper attachment, I could pop the whip handpiece out of the silicone handle, and substitute a glass piece I already have. It's a glass nectar straw with a cooling coil inside. The end opposite the mouthpiece has a 14 mm female joint which it sounds like might be a little too wide to squeeze into the silicone handle?

I would buy the version that only comes with the viper and no whip, but I do want that functionality. I think the answer might be that I should just order the viper, so I'll just save up a bit longer

Thank you, this answers my question. The glass I have is too big.

buy the replacement viper glass piece- it is sold separate.
(it does not have the sleeve or glass bowl)- so much cheaper this way. then remove the silicone sleeve and bowl from included whip . presto- there you go one 16mm glass bowl & one sleeve for both viper glass and the whip. don't break that bowl though. i have 2 just in case. buying extra equipment in the option category on 1 st unit buy. is the cheapest way to buy extra pieces.. bowls, whips, and maybe viper glass. like 1/2 price than buying later. i like ceramic screens and their fire cured stainless steel screens easy to soak and use straight needle to unblock the ceramic screen holes
