" I was trying to be too careful and put a smaller dab than I should have and it fell below the coil and is just staring at me"

@luckiest_MF131415 If this happens, tilt the pen with the usb port side up and press the button. Heat rises and will get the oil trapped below the coil. Plus as you inhale the air will push the oil towards the coil. Hopefully no more tiny dabs staring at you.

As I was melting this evening's dabs onto a mini viper I stuck it in the photo booth. I don't try tiny dabs yet because I'd be pissed if it all fell to the bottom. Btw, when stuff melts down to the bottom I use the pen upside down (like i was drinking from it or something) and all the oil comes right back to the heater.

510 thread right? I may get one to try on my persei.
YES it's 510. :)

Fyi just so people know: With the change from Dabbler to the new Eleven, we tossed out the restriction on mixing VB parts with other brands. I hated giving you guys that restriction (which came down from the manufacturer for good reasons but whatever) so we're super happy to tell you we don't care about how you use your pen- Mix and match with other brands as you see fit. The warranty will catch any DOA heaters (unused) and defective batteries up to 90 days. Defects are more rare nowadays anyway.

Enjoy!!

broke my dabbler charger and battery while charging it in my laptop by moving it to another surface. bought another one because i like the way it hits and fits into my glass but i was using it today and in mid session the white light just stayed on and wont turn off. it no longer heats either since i tried my other coils on it (one being brand new). has this happened to anyone/ is it an easy fix or am i just unlucky when it comes to pens.

@flyingcamel While not a common problem, I have seen that issue crop up from time to time with Dabbler batteries. Please e-mail VaporWarehouse and we can arrange for a replacement.

@vaporbrothers Sorry if this has already been answered.

I just ran out of atomisers for my Dabbler. Now I see that VB has replaced the Dabbler with the VB11. Can I use the VB11 atomisers with my Dabbler "cone" or do I have to buy the VB11 to be able to use the VB11 atomiser with the ceramic core?

Hello. The Dabbler and VB11 parts play quite well with each other and are interchangeable. So feel free to use VB11 parts with Dabbler parts and vice versa.

Wow!
I just tried the VB11 and got my ass flavorfully whipped.
While I did like the new vent hole in the cone, and found that it made it very easy for a patient that was visiting to use, with very limited lung power.. I also loved covering the hole like a carb and getting some even thicker rips (seems impossible, but there was serious fog going on here).
Besides, as @VaporWarehouse mentioned parts are interchangeable, so if I preferred I could have used a solid cone.
I liked this one!
The element works so well with this new ceramic core.
It surrounds the core.. but the rod of ceramic itself has two unique advantages.
  1. It is porous.
  2. It is hollow.
The oil/wax/BHO clings well and does not run way from the ceramic as it does with solid ceramic cores.
The fact that it is hollow helps too I believe.
Although I can not see it, I feel that the physics of wax running from heat.. allows a drop of dab to not only sit on the porous ceramic better, but even enter the hollow center to an extent during the hit.
The flavor was marvelously pure and clean.
Good stuff!
Great work and congrats to all involved!

Awesome thanks so much

Just went by there and picked one up. The owner didn't know it was called the "11", but he thanks me for telling him. Got it charging now, will report back ater some testing.

Thanks again

Loving my 11 atomizer, the hole in cone is great and the Viper is a pleasure to use. Great stuff VaporBros and thank you @VaporWarehouse for fixing my issue so promptly. Definitely prefer the heavy weight of my VB11 atty over the Kisses. I personally find these to also heat quicker than the Kiss but the hole in cone allows for quicker hits.

Everything thing Vitolo said was right on the money.

Yea, was able to get a small session of some Blue Dream in before work. First time using bho shatter, usually I've used c02 oil in the past. The 11 did great with the shatter, it loads up super easy, and it didn't run away from the ceramic wick...it actually wicked lol.

Def the best tasting pen I've used. And the new carb hole is cool. I'm curious why vb is charging half of what the dabbler?

Good job sourcing the parts for this pen,

You guys have any recommendations on how to keep it clean and lasting a long time?

Also curious why doesn't anyone make a cart that is deeper with the coil and wick as low as possible in the ceramic dish? The 11 is darn near there but I bet it could be lower and deeper for the ability to load more n go, instead of adding every few hits, just a thought.

Cheers

There are already carts that load almost a gram at once. They are problematic, because as the wax is consumed, it reduces, and becomes stiff. One must then learn to preheat the unit and suck accordingly to "pop the clog". There was a time when that was the prevalent idea, but users demanded a dab situation that could load a dab at a time instead.
Now that the solution is here, many wonder about the situation that prevailed before.

The deeper the dish and lower the coil, the thicker the wad of concentrate that you must draw air through once you have the unit flowing.
That wax cools and forms a solid plug.
The thicker the plug, the harder it becomes to "pop the clog" once the unit has cooled.

All the tastiest questions. I'll try to make this more list like so it's easier to answer the questions & tell you all the reasons. With info given to FC only ;)

The heaters- your cleanest tasting one yet IMO. Titanium / ceramic cores standard with all kits.
  • Larger diameter- more wicking area
  • Hollow- less mass for quicker heatup
  • More porous than before- wicks better (although looks more dirty over time)
  • Titanium wire- now it's an alloy with Nickel- which seems to be the most inert thing we can get.
  • Coil a bit set down- not as much as the last Dabblers, but we'll keep working on it. Setting it too low heats the bowl a lot and drags down the coil's temperature.
  • Totally lasts longer- the glass wicks used to break down. Ceramic holds the wire in place rigidly- Becomes harder to break the wire.

The carb hole
You can cover it like a carb if you want to keep the heater's inner vent clear and working. Or leave it open to make the draw effortless. It will never clog. I hate all vape pens until I drill a hole in them. I think we shouldn't be pulling our lungs out to get a hit. I couldn't negotiate a hole on all Dabblers, but now I can... So every VB Eleven has the hole. I'm using it right now...

The price much improved
  • Squeezed new suppliers & got amazing terms
  • Forgot the inconel from Sweeden and got the best local Ti-alloy we could get
  • Left the battery stock- (maintaining the pass through ego type)
  • Dropped the 3x additional testing by 3 different places and do 1x really well
  • Dabbler became way too expensive for what it was- the other brands were catching up fast- we had to start over
  • Prices of certain auxiliary parts have become easier to get- allowed us to add a large zipper case and long charging cable to the deluxe kit. (as of today deluxe zipper case 650mAh kit is 59.99, mini pocket case 350mAh is $10-15 less)
  • Found a good glassblowers to make these accessories that enhance the pen a lot. These things really psych us up for VB11 and want to get this thing out in bigger numbers.

Also... we want to erase DOAs, so we're charging every battery 100%. The cool thing to me is that it works right out of the package- Such a bummer to have to put your new toy aside to charge it all the way.

Btw, about ceramic cores being standard now, that is a concession to FC haha. People outside of FC weren't against glass fiber wicks... they don't like the slower heatup of the ceramic core. But we want to make you guys happy first and go from there. :)

Thanks for the well written and thorough explanation.

I picked mine up today. And the instructions do say to charge the battery before use. It did go red when I plugged it in, but honestly I left it charging for a few hours, and dont know how long it took for the red to fade off.

Also I noticed like you mentioned the wick was stained by the resin almost instantly. At the same time there is no detraction of flavor either.

Cheers

i posted this 2 weeks ago, contacted the website for a replacement battery which they said they would do once i got the sales receipt. after procrastinating for a week i finally got a copy and was about to mail in the battery but saw that the light was off(im assuming that the battery died from the light being on for a week). i said fuck it and put it in the charger to see if it would work and after charging for an hour IT WORKS. so if anyone gets a similar problem i guess wait till it dies and charge it again and it might work

I've been enjoying the 11 but think I may have found a flaw. The silicone o ring around the bottom outside of the threading. It, upon close examination, has started to build up what look residue from the part of the cap that touches the ring when its screwed on. The part was originally black on the bottom is fading to chrome. Every time I unscrew and then screw the top on it is creating more residue on the o ring, I'm assuming of which is from the paint. It doesn't seem to be easily airborne, but I'm not sure

I noticed on the vapor brothers website there is a chrome or silver 11, as opposed to the black. Is this painted as well or all metal? If all metal is it possible I can get a replacement bowl and top?

I tried to get a pic but all I have is my phone and it came out really blurry. Plus I don't like hassle of third party websites tbh
