Today I gave a demo to the guys at vapornation, maybe they can give a review. I can summarize by saying all (3 guys) liked it, 1 really liked it and commented on how "we nailed the taste", another said he preferred the solo vape by far at that price point, and the third guy was hard to read. Overall I think everyone enjoyed it. It stung to hear the guy say the solo was his fav, but the solo is a really great vape so I completely understand. I was happy to get the feedback. I hope I didn't break any rules with this post!!!
Thanks for stopping by yesterday. We really enjoyed your visit.
Overall, I was very impressed with the Vapor Blunt. It was simple to use and very effective. It was a little bigger than I initially expected, about 8 inches in length. But it has a great "feel" to it. It seems very durable and well constructed. No cheap parts. I like how one button controls everything on the unit...it makes things very simple. The "blend mixer" is absolutely genius. You can stir your blend after each rip without having to open the bowl. For me personally, I like to stir after each rip because I feel most Vaporizers perform better and this little feature makes it much easier to do that.
The Vapor Blunt heats up in about 60 seconds and you can start ripping on it about 30 seconds after that (the herbs need about 30 seconds to warm up). The bottom half of the unit gets a little warm after about 5 minutes of use, but nothing to be worried about. I was really suprised by the taste. I was expecting that typical plastic taste you get from many portable vapes (Iolite, Vapir NO2, etc.), but the Vapor Blunt tasted great. No plastic taste at all. That's one of the things I love about my Arizer Solo...the glass draw tube that doesn't put off a foul taste. With the Vapor Blunt, all I tasted were the wonderful herbs.
The vapor production was also quite impressive. It's rather difficult to produce large clouds of vapor with most of the Portable Vapes on the market today. But the Vapor Blunt is different. I was able to produce HUGE clouds of vapor. I felt very satisfied. It also has a 15-minute auto shut-off feature which is pretty nice for those people who tend to foget where the time has gone (me). If you want more, the Vapor Blunt has a "turbo" heat setting that provides more heat if you prefer thicker and more robust clouds of vapor. They also offer "flavor tips", but for me personally, I like to taste the flavor of my dank herb.
This vape has a lot going for it. I'm not going to say it's better than the Arizer Solo (I love my Solo), but its definitely right up there with it. A lot of Vaporizer Manufacturer's are soley in it for the money and don't understand (or care) what us Vaporizer Enthusiasts really want. Many of them don't even use Vapes. But these guys at Vapor Blunt are different. They really have their shit together. They know vapes and they know what vapor enthusiasts want. Thanks guys!
