Funny guys, you're right I should know all about ordering lighters off the internet.

Except for one fact: I don't have a credit card, and I fucking hate computers. All kinds.

I had assumed you didn't know about ordering lighters (and getting them empty), which seems to be the case, for whatever reason. My major concern is that innocents would assume that every empty lighter they get was a problem? Hopefully that's been prevented.

As to a Luddite lifestyle, your call. I no longer wear a watch, carry a cell phone (it's in the car, 'in case') nor generally answer phones. I used to get paid to deal with other folks problems 24/7 so now you'll have to pay me even more to fall for that one. But this is a computer based Forum about high tech products, I would not expect much support/understanding. I dare say 95% plus of us bought out VMs on the internet with credit cards. I'll celebrate it, but it's going to be a small party indeed.

To be honest as you heat then inhale with the VM you could use pig shit to power your flame if you could focus it!

At worst you shorten the life of your lighter- as a Vapman and Triihouse fan I have no issues with butane Torch vapes!

Almost burned my fingers on 3 flames in a row. Damn this thing is dangerous.
Too bad I don't have a welding glove.
On the 4th burn the lighter didn't click off - it got stuck in the on position.
Definitely overheated my VM. Almost burned my fingers again.
Combustion.

Second Attempt
Positioning the lighter upside down and flame up now.
Fingers seem to be safe. Vapor unlocked.

if it is possible with just the most basic setup and a torch flame... im very interested.

@DrNick420 you would want a screen in the bottom to absorb anything that turns liquid and could seep out the air holes. This probably could be made from items at home, or vapman makes very nice screen formed to fit the pan perfectly.

If its just old school hash u might be able to get away with dropping a few pieces in the pan. The clean up would be a bit more involved though.

I have done it with cotton but you better be careful of over-heating so you don't taste cotton instead of herb vapor.

Haven't been around this thread much, so pardon my ignorance.
Does the Vapman hold heat long enough to be able to do very long big rips? Or is it more of a forced sipper. It seems hard to believe that it would be able to hold a hit for 10 seconds or so and not lose 20+ degrees. Am I wrong? That's what I love about the Lotus, is that the heat can take whatever you can throw at it.
Vapman looks interesting because it's so small, and everything is built in 1 unit, whereas the Lotus has "multiple parts" especially for me using it with the wpa.

The Vapman gives some surprisingly large hits, but it is more of a sipper, in my opinion. It doesn't hold up to big bong rips in the way that something like the Lotus does, since it's not meant to be actively heated while hitting it. They compliment each other well, though. The Lotus is my favorite vape, but I still find myself pulling out the egg pretty frequently. The Vapman is just enjoyable to use and feels nice in the hand. I also think it's a bit nicer for out and about, since you aren't holding a flame to it the whole time.

Dont know if you got it sorted out yet Kenny Fucking Powers...but for the sake of shamless self advertisement, there should be some torch technique shown

So I'm confused right now. I'm on vapornation, and It says the vapman is $86, and for the classic, it's $55 more.
Well, when I added it to the cart, it says "Model / Shell Color: Classic Walnut - Bordeux Case"
So...it shows that it's not the "basic", it's the "classic"
but!...the price hasn't changed. It's still sitting at $85, $67 with the coupon code. What do I do...if I place order, will I be charged the extra $55, or will I get stuck with a "basic"?

Either one is well worth it for less then $70 bucks, I actually use my Basic a lot more then my classic(which I use mainly with the heating station). I could see getting "stuck" with things that are a lot worse then a Basic Vapman.

Both the Classic or Basic are a joy to own and use so either way for 67 bucks you can count on getting an awesome little vape.

With practice its the most efficient vape I own. Zero stirring. I really find it smooth because the air holes in the vapor path cool it perfectly. In my opinion this is the best bang for your buck!!

It tastes (and functions) unlike any other vape on the market, in a good way. Only thing I've found somewhat comparable was a hammer used in conduction mode, a very distinct signature. Its not the cloudiest unit since its heated before inhalation and wasn't designed to retain heat, but with proper technique it can milk a bubbler well (and fits 14mm natively).

Its the most efficient vaporizer I've ever used, with proper technique it makes my nano seem downright gluttonous. It produces perfect avb everytime with no stirring. Its also magic.

Magic...flight...what??? If the flight box gives a punch, the vapman will knock you out! I'm using it as we speak...

MFLB simply does not compare.

Fitting .05 would be a feat for the vapman, my loads typically .02-.03 . The magic I mentioned lies in the vapmans ability to get you medicated with such small amounts, a very distinct high too. Everything seems a little more indica to me through the vapman?

Soon I am going to be visiting a friend who owns a vapman basic. I'm flying halfway across the country so i'm not bringing any of my own stuff, but he is saving a bit of shatter so I can try it in the vapman. I just wanted to be sure do you make a sandwich with a little cotton or a lot of cotton? I just want to know exactly what I should do because I only have one shot at trying this with concentrates haha. I already promised him a big dab when he comes to visit me.

To be honest I like the idea of using a lighter and being able to hit and heat separately.

I have also used a MFLB and HATED!!! it so much I refused to try vapes for years. So I am hopeful because people are saying there is no contest.

Also what about bubble hash? does that need cotton?
