Count me in on the Bob Marley, please
As far as my lighter cracks I'm not real worried about it, my lighter has always worked fine. I was just curious is why I asked. You & FC.
Can't remember getting any solvents on other than tane but I have been known to forget.
If I can get a year or so out of a cheap torch I'm good.
Keep up the stellar work sir and thank for the awesome vape cant wait to see the marley set.

I use a magic eraser to clean the bowl...but how does one get the bottom inside cone of the pan clean? I feel like the magic eraser just disintegrates on the bottom and there is a risk of getting pieces inside the tubes.

Is there any way to remove the pan from the unit to soak?

This is a pic of the problem area...there were a few combustion inside, because I let somebody else light it

It can be removed by undoing the three clamps that hold it on just don't overtighten or do it often or they may get loose/cross threaded, this was my dilema too I can get in there with a scourer cut up but I have scratched up me bowl man

I've only got experience with my own vapman, but even with my clamps off my pan/tube assembly wouldnt come free of my vapman due to the rings hole being slightly smaller than the pan and the tubes also extending past the perimeter of the pan. Apparently the tubes are pressed into the bowl with the ring in place, that or René truly is a magician.

There is no easy way to completely remove the pan with out removing the air intake tubes. Then you need Renès custom flanging tool to re fit them.

Try using small pieces of magic eraser and a tooth pick. If there is really thick areas scrape off with something sharp first then polish with the magic eraser. It always works for me.

Oh I just assumed it would wiggle through wow that is good engineering

That was my thought too until I had no choice but to carry out a repair after one of the intake tubes dislodged from my Vapman
In the end I left the screws and tube brackets attached and pushed the air tube back through the pan.I used a fine tipped metal scriber arcing it inside the tube to swage it firmly into the pan.
It was ugly and not solid but worked for a while. It came loose again.

Has anyone has done a successful diy repair on the intake tubes using just diy gear?

The proper fitting of the tubes are in Renes manufacturing vid.Forward to 2 minutes 10 seconds.

I carry the Vapman in its egg...it is difficult to remember to pop it in its egg every time you move about but it saves stress on the Pan/air tube joints.otherwise, just keep your Vapman middle section off the main body when carrying it will help.but everyone carries their egg around right?

My Replacement mica has been on many adventures so far and I'm hoping it keeps on giving.Still in love here..I can still get my Vapman to do what I need every time.Vapor can be teased gently or super cloudy medical hits if needed.

Honestly though I have a problem,My current Vapman isnt getting so much use at home nowadays.my dog hates the click of all my torches and every time I use a lighter vape near him, he goes under a bed and won't come out for ages.So I must consider a station at some stage or find a new dog and the you know that the dog wins every time.

@vapman excited to hear about the Marley set..will it feature Rasta details or just plain black?

One other thing,Does the dimmer control on the station, use a standard guitar type fine spline for its dial?...Maybe a custom hand blown glass dial would fit and look great as an accessory to the station if that was you're thing folks.

A new year, a new product, the mica washers arrived!

Everybody interested, send us an email (mail@element-medical.ch) with your exact delivery address
and I will send you six washers in an envelope for free. In order to save costs I will not register the mail, in case it should not arrive, please let me know. I assume that mica washers should not be something lucrative for stealing, therefore I hope it will arrive safely in your letter box.:)

Take care and thank you,

This kind of thing makes me even more impressed with the already super impressive Vapman. Commitment to customers like this is a true rarity.

(Thanks Vapman!!!)

You are the man René, but its hardly a product when you give them away for free!

I'm enjoying my vapman along side a tasty local stout, the orange kush and chocolately flavors somehow pair nicely. Admiring some of @M0J0 blackmans I was curious if there have been any all ebony or blackwood vapmans? I think I'd enjoy the weight, and ofcourse aesthetics.

For some reason I want a heavier vapman.

Ebony Vapman have been made at least twice. Just mail René to know if there are any left.
Yes as stated ebony vm have been made before. There are pictures on vm facebook page.

I thought for sure I had read about them when researching before my purchase, missed this tidbit on the previous page.
hopefully we will also have some ebony vapman

I stained a gunstock for a friend a year or two ago with black RIT fabric dye made into a paste and finished with blo. I seem to recall natural pigments listed as the ingredients. I wonder if something like this is a viable option? I suppose it would be should I/we find safe pigment/stain, maybe I could add some color .. Or in this case darkness down the line.

The gunstock came out great, made an unremarkable birch stock look like a faux black or bog wood.

To anyone who says the Vapman is not discrete, bugger that! Had to park a few blocks away from bar because it's real crowded for the game, cup it in your hand and light while walking down the street, cup in hand and hit. Maybe I have big hands :) but I felt like no one driving past was any the wiser

I totally agree, I have small hands - and I've used mine in very public places without anyone noticing. As some have mentioned - it's the noise of the lighter that makes it a little less discrete in very quiet places..... but otherwise, I find it very stealthy.

Awesome video! It's great to see the Station in use. :)

Vap-people, I am officially among you. This is a very neat vaporizer. I'm still tinkering but this pretty much sums it up, its a neat little object I'll enjoy getting to know.

Welcome!

That's where it starts!
I remember thinking oh neat what a sweet little device! Small practical and works well. The more you use it the better it works, give it two weeks before you're heart in hand in lurv!

...... I agree - you think you love it now @nondarb - but that love will just grow exponentially - until you realise you never want to be without a vapman (or two.... or more) in your life!

We will have black stations and hopefully we will also have some ebony vapman, I just ordered some more wood a few days ago. Black station with an ebony vapman must look quite special I guess, looking forward myself to see such combination. I promise to offer you a good deal on such set, I call it the Bob Marley set.;)

OMG Rene!! I've been wanting an ebony vapman for sooooo long now. Do you have a list you can add me to, so that I don't miss out this time? I love the idea of a black station to match! I've also been dreaming of wooden stations? Is that something you've considered?

:peace:

Just ordered a tattooed walnut vapman. As if that doesn't make me happy enough, I recieved an email from the the distributor less than 5 minutes after completing my order to verify the shipping address. We exchanged a few emails and I feel confident that my order is being completed with care. It would appear that customer satisfaction is a natural law regarding the vapman!

Welcome to the club! Since you said tattooed, I'm assuming you're talking about @M0J0. I'm confident he will take good care of you.

@Seren You are on the list and also on my mind sometimes!:)

Making a station completely of wood is possible but not something I am planing to do soon, first I want to get the first larger series out before thinking about new products. To replace the two aluminum tubes with wood is quite tricky and costly because big logs of wood are needed and most of the wood is wasted when making tubes. Never say never but may be.;)

Thank you,

Excellent point, however around here we burn Oak and sometimes Walnut in the winter. There's a yard not far from where I live that's easily 100 by 500 yards (or meters) piled quite high. They fill it in the summer as the trees are cut and sell it off when the weather changes. They cut to length and split and stack cords (4 by 4 by 8 feet) for sale. I'm sure they'd be happy to sell you as many cords of 'rounds' (branches and trunks 8 or so inches, 18 to 24 inches long) as you want. Back when I used to burn cord wood I'd get half rounds and half splits (which burn hotter/faster), sometimes smalls (branches over four inches but less than 8).

Last I heard it was $275 delivered for a cord. That was a few years back.

Of course freighting them to Switzerland is going to be steep. Maybe you should just move here?

Yesterday after some cleaning I noticed that one of the tubes on my Vapman is loose on the bowl side and the whole pan wiggles a bit as it's not held by all three. There's something I can do to fix this issue? Maybe unscrewing that tube screw and try to push it back into the bowl hole? It functions as well as ever but I'd prefer to have it steady.
