Especially Echo and Pulse would make sense in regards to how the new version operates (and sound less like toys). Both of them are actually really solid, I'm quite surprised by the outcome.

I know that scene well from the film version (Paul Newman).
I have actually appropriated the idea of "the click" for many decades, only shifting the drug-dependency from alcohol to caffeine (coffee).
I'm not as much fun to be around if I haven't felt "the click." LOL
The new model seems intriguing.
The price disparity between the wood choices seems surprising. Purple Heart wood (Amaranth) would complement my TM2 PH, but at twice the price of cherry?
I will follow.

While I was a little surprised at the price of the purpleheart, the general pricing makes sense to me from a historical perspective. The Pure/basics (without the mica) have always been less expensive than the Classics. All of my classics have been in the $120-$150 range over a few years, so I think the walnut Pronto is right there, especially with new developments and inflation.
I haven't made up my mind if I'm buying my first Pure, the purple heart, or nothing.

It would be a little easier to decide if we saw pictures of new vapmans.

The pure cherry is really nice, well worth the price for sure. I'll probably get the PH, my last purchase was the LE Walnut.
I honestly have never been a fan of charring the wood myself while vaping. I like wooden vapes but not wood smoke. So the pre-char appeals to me.

i’m gonna get the purple heart for sure … i’ve already bought the purple heart vapcase for it!
keep in mind the cherry (only the cherry) is raw … the wood hasn’t been conditioned (which you can do yourself with your preferred wax/oil etc) … that helps keep the price down
