I'm thinking about buying the classic in the black friday sale... would you with the AFC mouthpiece or just regular?
I tend to the proven.
Both are great. AFC is a better. But, with both the vapor pathway is too short for me. I want to be sure to never burn my throat, that's why I use a longer glass stem. Con: Glass breaks and it does not fit in the egg or the vapcase. It's good to have several options.

thanks! I think i might even get on of the last 'OG' made from the inventer and take a glass mp.
are there quality differences?
Nope, they're all great. I think the Italian models are easier to take apart and replace the pan on, maybe? I'm gonna egg you on here for the Swiss Vapman so you won't regret it later. You can always get an Italian one.

is classic or pure better?
I't almost entirely aesthetics I think. Some folks like the pure wood, some folks would rather protect it. The Pure will inevitably scorch (indeed that's its protective coating) but it should not negatively impact your use and enjoyment.

This. I prefer the pure but also have classics. You get a bit more taste of the wood in the pure but I also have an applewood classic which is also very tasty. Basically you can’t go wrong with either.

Why do you think the italian ones are easier to take apart?
thx
I have a vague recollection of a discussion surrounding the pan's new position, and I think the upshot was that the screws were easier to reach and the intakes stay with the pan on removal?

Close-ish:

Fortunately this place is crawling with classy experts who will certainly get us together. ; )

After sleeping a night over it, reading further about the lotus and vapman in comparison, I tend to go for the lotus. The new blue special edition in amaranth wood with the J-Hook, extra hotplate and concentrate pad included will make an awesome looking addition to my stationary vapes. Second one in standard olive and wateradapter as well... Will xxxclusively be used on the ehle power tower spec. edition with a hose.... This tower deserves something special... and is used daily. So the 2x lotus will worth the expense. Since I mostly toke at home, I think lotus is better choice for me. hope it's not OT now, since they are now made by the same guys. thank you for helps...
Doesn't mean I wouldn't get a vapman once. But atm the lotus just fits better in my concept with the new big ehle tower, i figured...
however I learned a lot now about the vapman, on which I will keep an eye. It looks like a spacecraft or a satellite at least, what is really cool about it...

I'd say only one fresh air intake slot instead of the 3 holes. And yes it makes it more adjustable. On the current 3 holes version you have only a few degrees range of motion for the AFC mouthpiece between fully open and fully closed. Making it hard to achieve a precise setting. The slot would give more range of motion between fully open and fully closed and therefore a more precise and repeatable setting.

I don't know if that makes sense...

I wonder what could be the others designs tweaks. I just hope they don't put balls in there but I think they are not that kind of persons.

While they're making improvements, I hope @vapman_official will start making the WPA midsections. The Swiss @vapman ones are invaluable and in constant use for me.

Very interested in the "day by day unveiling of new features" , they also mention a readjustment of proportion, the image looks a bit different ... is it taller/slimmer? :sherlock:
I'm sure the pan will be the same, otherwise it wouldn't fit the station.
Happy to see new stuff lately, new station, new cases and new whole vapman now? cool stuff

I'm a total Vapmaniac, and I'm not sure how to feel about this Vapman 2.0-Thing.
For weeks I was thinking about writing a post about a possible successor of the Vapman. I didn't think there would actually be an announcement for a new one. But there it is. I won't talk about possible ideas for improvements I had, for now. Let's first see, what they have changed. But on one thing I had an opinion: A successor or better, an companion, maybe it shouldn't have the same name. There is already enough confusion between OG, pure, basic, classic... There is an old post by René (the Vapman OG himself) where he explains why the Vapman is called Vapman, and that this was maybe not 100% the best decision to name it like that.
I kind of dreamed about a bigger version of the Vapman, which would than be called the Sizzle-Sister :D

Sizzle Sister? Does it come with a dance pole? LOL Ok...well, did you give the name much thought? I suppose I can get use to that name...ok. That is good. Maybe the new Vapman is coming in a completely different wood. I notice they do not have the Kotibe...so, we are in for a big surprise...my wallet is ready. Lets go Vapman Sizzle Sister!

@Dr. G: No, I didn't put much thought in it. Sorry if I did something wrong here. Is this name somehow offensive? I didn't even google it. The spontaneous idea was to go away from the strong masculine name of the Vapman and to put a smile on your faces. I was looking for more balance, genderwise, not for sexism, to make that clear.

I LOVE IT! You put a big smile on my face...thank you. I always can use good humor these days. Cheers...have fun! I am very curious now about this 2.0. Seriously, I think it has to be new wood...perhaps a bigger bowl?

Hey!

Am I right, there's no difference in performance between Swiss Mica Model and Italian Mica Model? Just different taste of different wood?

Is the different size of the main-hole affecting only the temperature of the heart-piece, or the temperature of the heating chamber also get an effect?
