Oh, I see. Hmmm. Glad I got the "right" piece but it seems a little unsatisfactory tbh. Oh well maybe I can give it a handle - stick it on the laterbase.
Thanks for the info though.
In general, I feel like it’s becoming more and more obvious that the Vapman is being geared toward commercialism. I find that really unfortunate, because it’s exactly the refinement and attention to detail that make this device so unique and special. That’s probably also the reason why so many people find this little device so amazing.

That said, the painting part doesn’t really bother me all that much. I can understand wanting to lower the price to make it more accessible to a broader audience. But I think there should also be a premium, handcrafted version available—something that’s allowed to be more expensive, but in return is 100% flawless, made with exotic woods, and finished to perfection.

Don’t get me wrong — I genuinely like all versions of the Vapman. But anyone who owns a V1 knows exactly what I mean. A V2 with the craftsmanship of the Swiss-made version would be my personal dream.

Hello! Can anyone recommend an artisan who makes vapman stems by commission? I would like something similar to the TRWW stems, in oilivewood to match my vapman, lined with titanium and working with the airflow control on the 2.0 / click. I reached out to TRWW but didn't hear back, so I assume they don't do commissions. I reached out to KGWoodcrafts but they don't have a 2.0 / click to fit with.
I think dynabox can do it

To be fair to Michael and David they always seem to find solutions for anyone who reaches out to them. Their customer service is really good and I feel their appreciation for customers really come through on their correspondence.

As for it being more commercial. That's part of making the business financially viable. René struggled for a long time to get it that way but in the end decided he couldn't do it any more.
I'm not saying defects should be accepted. I just think they're few and far between. More units being made and sold means the chance of defects increases.

If and when slight defects occur I would reach out to the guys.

The original Swiss made versions from René are exceptional If they are more refined than the Italian models I think that's more a indicator of his outstanding craftsmanship rather than poor quality from the new versions. I have way too many vapman but the quality of the Swiss and Italian version are both excellent for me.

In any business that is growing there is more room for errors. I myself have experienced a few glitches along the way but, Michael and David have good intentions and fix things. I would just contact customer service via email and get your grievances out. At the end of the day, you are the customer, and you are right. They will fix things. Remember that the Click was created at a lower price point for a reason...to reach out to more people. You cannot compare apples to oranges. The original OG made by Rene set a standard so very high its ridiculous. The craftsmanship is just bloody outstanding in every way. The new versions of Vapman are beautiful and just different. They are exceptional as well...Michael and David are doing an outstanding job moving this company forward.

If you are not happy with something, write to them and they will do something about it. If you are unhappy speak up like you have but, follow through with them. You will get the results you need. Cheers.

thank you! how would I find them? a google search and fc search didn't turn them up.
Greetings,

There are other choices...you also have EDsTnT, and Highartisan is for hire, also Good Vibes can be commissioned. The wooden ones that the Rogue makes are exceptional...just keep writing to him. He will return your email....write to him via Instagram. How do you reach them? They are all here on FC and also, look for them on Instagram and Ed is also on Facebook.

You can leave a message for the Rogue on his website...good luck with your journey...let me know if you need any more help. You have good choices of wood or glass with the artists above...

PS The long glass mouth piece is exceptional from VGOODIES...it has a very nice bend at the end. They are in stock for about $12.

Sorry to confuse things. I meant having 3 holes instead of the slot.
Then it should fit, right? I guess it is the V 2.0 Mouthpiece if i compare it to the picture from the inhale Website. (See below)

And the one i got sold:

Hi everyone,

First of all, thank you so much for all your feedback, your excitement, and your honest input – we truly appreciate it!

We’re really happy to hear how much joy the Vapman brings to so many of you – especially the Pure in olive wood and the new Padouk Click. Messages like yours are what keep us inspired every day!

Regarding the cooling spiral and mouthpiece compatibility: it’s true that the spiral currently only fits the metal/POM mouthpieces. Wooden mouthpieces have a thicker wall for structural integrity – if it were thinner, the wood could easily crack. We’ll work on making this clearer going forward.

As for the 420 promotion: we’re sorry if some of you didn’t receive the free Padouk mouthpiece. It had to be manually added to the cartduring checkout – something we’ll make more obvious in the future.

In terms of quality control, we take every concern seriously. With open-pore woods like Padouk, small imperfections can sometimes occur naturally. That said, we’re constantly improving our QC processes and are always happy to help if anything feels off.

And about the brush handle – yes, we removed the wooden handle to make sure the brush fits inside the wooden cases. But if you’re inspired to craft your own handle, we love that energy!

Thank you again for your amazing support, creative ideas, and genuine passion. That’s exactly why we do what we do 💛

Warm regards,

David & Michael
