Hey guys,

I haven’t been in this forum since pre covid times. A lot has changed. The vapman in new hands etc. Some years have happened since that, how is everyone currently feeling about that change?

Everything has gotten way out of my budget, so im really happy to have an old vapman. My only problem is that I lost my wooden mouthpiece and I haven’t been able to find another one on the internet. Is anyone selling one or knows where i can get one? Im located in Berlin.

I've been having a great time with the click. I put some polish on the cherry and it looks great.
I'm new to the vapman and I was wondering if it's normal the inside ring of the wood is charred? Will this eventually burn through or is this just a part the vapman? I don't mind it. Looks and smells cool.

I'm still trying to figure out which airflow I like the best. Fully open seems a bit airy but I like the cool air. I've been using it in the garage where its -10 lately so the cool air is very nice.
Really like the effects. Very relaxing but no couch lock.

you can get the newly released vapman click in cherry for around 100 bucks ... main differences of the click are a bigger bowl and an audible click when it is up to temperature!

yes the inside ring is pre-charred and will stay that way. the original pure vapmans have exposed wood that over time naturally chars (which protects the wood) ... the pre-charring takes care of it right out of the box!

The pures used to just have bare wood and you built up the char yourself. They now come “pre-charred” and it’s completely normal.

There are some OG vapman wood mouthpieces available from Vgoodiez. You might be able to find some places closer to home, but FYI.
Vapmans website *now inhale sells them
According to the Nowinhale website these are only compatible with the 2.0.

I couldn't resist adding a Click to my VM family and I doesn't disappoint. there are differences to the OG and V2 that make it worthwhile.
But I do have an overwhelming desire to sand and smooth the sharp edges.
Is there any mention of how many heating cycles the click is rated for ? Is there any chatter for an upcoming Lotus Click. I would definitely get one...

I was thinking the same thing! However there's a lot of grumbling on the Lotus thread about how the click would defeat the purpose of the Lotus heater...or something like that.

See what happens. I'd pick one up definitely.

A little sanding goes a long way. I sanded one of my Cherry clicks and it feels so much better with some smoother edges. Considering sanding my purple heart too.

The inhale guys definitely have no intention on a lotus click so don’t hold your breath haha.

Also Happy Holidays to you lot! (Whatever it is you may be celebrating)

I said on the Lotus thread "no to the dictatorship of the click”, mostly in jest, but also because the Lotus ritual of warming up while inhaling is less conducive to the click system imo.
I really appreciate the bigger bowl on this new Vapman.
The meeting between the Vapman and Kambo was fusional:)

Beautiful!
I think you're absolutely right about the click not working with the Lotus heater and how it works. They would have to rework the heater. Either way I need another reason to get another Lotus.

Caved and got a cherry. I do enjoy the Vapman ritual and signature.

What would be the best way to treat the wood? I have some walnut oil, would that work ok, or is there something better to use instead?
Walnut oil will degrade with heat so not really suited for our application. (Excellent on a salad though...)

René just uses boiled linseed oil. Most of us use a mix of beeswax with either mineral oil or linseed oil.

And polish with a soft cotton cloth.

While applying wood conditioner to my Cherry Click I must have got some of the wax in the pre-charred region. It's producing a fair amount of smoke now that smells like a candle whenever I heat up the bowl. Any tips on how I can fix this? Maybe an acetone bath?

I think I did this as well. It gets better after awhile? I guess it burned off. I do find that if pass the click I get some smoke/burn off. I thought this was just part of the vapman.
