I think I'll crack my egg for an early morning breakfast. Right now I'm rinsing my gums with bourbon. I have my desktop that provides little resistance, but I find my portables deliver more bang for the buck. I'll report back way too early in the morning. Thanks for your help and advice.

Ultimate hardcore vapor porn

How long does the vapman stand take to initially heat up?

The initial heat up time is less than one minute, after that it only takes seconds like using the jet-flame.

I will bring on the vapor porn, I promise, just give me a few days I have to make the video first and I am quite busy at the moment.

Thanks to all you guys ( OF, Seren, Steama and more…) which are answering questions about vapman, this ia a great help to me!

Peace,

vapman

Only wish jetlighters didn't make so much noise, but that's out of vapmans hands haha

Ah, yes, yet another of life's little ironies. Not to give up hope, not all torches are equal WRT sound. While I generally don't care, some of mine are definitely louder than others. Many are much louder 'striking' than running. I think the larger ones, throttled back, make less noise for the same heat.....at the expense of being bigger of course.

Poke around some? Make kind of a fun search with enough testing under 'actual field conditions'..........

Well I had some spare time with a lathe (perk of being an industrial design major). Made this walnut adapter for connecting the vapman to 14mm joints. I put on a handle so the vapman could be lifted for clearing. Also makes it really easy to remove the vapman to heat it so you don't have to torch it upside down.

This is probably my favorite way to vaporize now. Smooth with no coughing and still some good taste.

@Elevapor, Right on dude! That's sweet!
Is that one solid piece of wood or is the handle just pressed on or something?
I've been meaning to try my VM on the bubbler but for some reason haven't gotten around to it yet.. I think I'll do that for my wake-n-bake session in a moment!

The center is a solid piece with the two joints on either side. The handle was sliced from a board. I just drilled a hole in it and used some wood glue to keep it pressed on.

You know this is an obvious candidate for mass production on the sort of CNC gear Thermo Vape used to make their original line of vapes. They could 'eat' 10 foot dowels (or square stock) from a rack and machine the piece out 'from both sides' much easier than the same machines made more complex parts from aluminum. If you watch the VM movie, they're using a lathe more often used for metals and plastics.

Those machines use programmed cutters to make one end of the part on the end of the stock, advance it into a second chuck, part it off, then machine the other side. At about 4 a minute, all night long unless the wood rack runs dry........

Too bad there are about a million VMs out there.....

Oh man, gone for a few days and I feel like I missed it all. Where to begin.
First, All Hail  @Mojo Master of the torch. Your two-toned charred Vapman looks amazing!

Yes, we are planing to release a new product soon. It`s an electric heat station for vapman.....
This has got to be some of the best news ever. I think I'm gonna start looking for a place to mount it in my truck.

Also, I received my concentrate screens from Vapman today and here is what I don't get. I normally vape two "bowls" per sitting, sometimes three and the screen takes up about half of the bowl but after two "half bowls" I'm good. No need for another one. I wonder why that is?:hmm:

And finally, a big Thanks to @vapman , Not only did you save me $$$$ on shipping but you also threw in two extra screens for my Vapman.

Happy Vaping!

Holy crap @Elevapor! Just when we think we've seen it all... That's brilliant!

I have to get me a bubbler even without your awesome adapter.

Hat's off to you, sir!

I've just been discussing technique & now I'm wondering - how do you hold yours!?? :)

When heating my Vapman - I hold it between my thumb and middle finger, and place my index finger over the top of the mouthpiece. I find that way, the herbs get to vaping temperature that little bit faster.

I mentioned this technique to @Buildozer - who has recently joined our Vapman family - so he gave it a try. He found the technique particularly useful for gauging subtle heat changes on his finger tip, which in turn helped signal when he should stop heating the pan.

I also hold it this way between hits, because it seems to help in maintaining bowl temperature, and I feel it helps avoid any vapour wastage. So, all-in-all, holding it this way would appear to have a number of advantages.

Is this what you guys do too? Or do you have a different technique?? :leaf:

I have always heated up my Vapman by holding it between my thumb and index finger but I'm gonna try covering the mouthpiece to see if I notice any difference.

Since we're on the topic of technique I have a question about how you hit you're Vapman. When I'm hitting my Vapman I hold it with four fingers and I spin it:mental:. That's right, for some reason since I got the Vapman I have always hit it while spinning it. Sometimes I don't even notice I'm spinning it, I'm just spinning it. Now if I don't spin it I don't feel like I get as good of a hit. Call me crazy but I feel I get more even heat distribution throughout my herb while I spin it. Does anyone else do this?

It's funny now that I think about it when I'm using my Vapman with any of my glass I don't spin it and I get great extraction...Hmmm. Sorry if I'm not making much sense but it's a real slow day at work and the Vapman is working overtime.:smug:

I don't spin mine while I'm hitting it - but I do spin/turn it a little in between each torching. ;)

Little by little all the other vapes fell to the way side and before long I was using Vapman almost exclusively.

Same here! I still use my others on and off - but the Vapman is my go-to for sure.

i want the vapman itself and the screens, and some other stuff from the mentioned shop. i'd have ordered from vapman already, but i'd rather avoid the inconvenience of dealing with the customs office. i waited so long, so i can't see, why i can't wait longer. :) i see it as a check of the limits of my patience. :)

@axakal - if you e-mail the Vapman office - they'll take care of you. Their website can't handle different shipping charges - but if all you want is screens, they can invoice you for a lower shipping rate manually if you get in touch. ;) :peace:

I really enjoy reading about all the different vapes on the site. Not too long ago, my enjoyable FC past-time had infected me with a serious case of VAS and the ailment was putting a serious dent in my wallet. So many vapes I had to have or at least I felt this way. I even bought the Vapman at a point that I thought I should slow my acquisition rate. The Vapman was a replacement to the MFLB that I had grown tired of. I really did not know what I had purchased with the Vapman even leaving it in the drawer before really picking it up and using it. Little by little all the other vapes fell to the way side and before long I was using Vapman almost exclusively. The Vapman has changed the way I think and feel about vaping and has cured my VAS. I still love to read about and look at the newest vapes and the latest advancements. The difference for me now is I have a Vapman in my pocket and I know how to rock it.

I've been inoculated.
LOLOLOL....yeah i like looking at all the new models with all the bells and whistles, digital read outs and such. Slowly i have been going thru my vapes and selling them. I only have three now..My vapman is in heavy use followed by my log vape, with those 2 i dont need much else except maybe more meds!!!

I'm really getting the hang of my Vapman. I can't believe how little material I've gone through since acquiring it. One question about the screens. Are you using them at all times or only with concentrates? Will they work with both wax and oil? Do you sandwich the material between two screens? Thanks for your help.

so where's the best place to get my vapeman?
I suppose that depends on where you're based yourself, since that can influence delivery times and taxes incurred. Vapornation in the US has a pretty good deal on at the moment - 10% off. However, if it makes more sense for you to purchase in Europe, then you can purchase directly from the Vapman site, or a retailer, such as Verdampftnochmal......

is the minvape only smaller?
Sorry, I'm not sure I follow. :hmm: :) If you're asking which is smaller - the Vapman or the MiniVAP - then it's the VM by miles - it's beautifully compact.

One question about the screens. Are you using them at all times or only with concentrates? Will they work with both wax and oil? Do you sandwich the material between two screens?

I only use the screens with concentrates myself, but a few members are using them with herbs too. Your call I guess. They apparently work well with all concentrates - including wax and oil. I've only tried out hash - and I don't sandwich that - there's no need. I'm thinking it may be a good idea to use two screens for oil. Perhaps someone who has experimented with oil can chime in for that!?

Welp after finishing this informative and entertaining tread I'm sure only one thing will help me get vapman off my mind... unexpected vape purchase haha.

Right now I use the pnp for pure stealth on the go and easy sharing with friends. I use the hammer at home for tasting and personal use. I have full intentions of picking up an e nano sometime after the holidays. I just cant the vapman out of my mind so once I get my paycheck im hitting buy now.

Few general questions..

First is comparison of bowl size between the hammer and vapman?

I can fill my hammer half way and thats about the best way to start my day not too much but enough to get me going.

Second is I don't own a torch light. So where is the best place to order the vapman with the vapman torch? (Im in the states on the east coast)

Is there black friday/cyber monday sales on vapes..!!!?

Third and final, moreless just an over asked opinion question. But do I order the mica or start out pure and upgrade to the mica with time?

I really dont have the extra money but would perfer to get something that ill be happy with the first time vs repurchasing to fulfill my vaping needs.

I really appreciate all the input, tips, suggestions and opinions everyone has contributed to this tread. So much love for this vape I just cant wait.

Peace and thanks again everyone.
