Hey chaps,
The new AFC mouthpiece is now available from Vapman.com
Available in stainless steel
Black POM
or White POM

@vapman I've seen spare screws and screen spacer (for under the filter) available from Simrell but nowhere else, not even on your site. Can you fix this, please? (i.e. add to list of spares on vapman.com) Thanks!
Thanks for the advice my friend, we will do that soon :)

So my vapman arrived today, already combusted lol. It's actually a pretty quick learning curve though and super terpy....I love it. Couple of questions:

1) Should I be getting flecks of weed in my mouth when I inhale?
2) Not sure how much of a "fine grind" I should do. I grinded the weed through a Santa Cruz Shredder twice. Is once enough for the vapman (may be why I'm getting flecks of weed in my mouth?).

Once is enough. I use a SCS, too.

That must be one heck of a fine grind. I've never gotten flecks of weed with a Vapman.
Happens to me sometimes if I forget there's fresh kief loaded and I test the airflow.

Received the AFC mouthpieces today! I like the stainless a lot. About 3/4 closed is my perfect flow for concentrate.

The additional depth of the afc is making me hesitate to use the POM... just because of it's proximity to hot filter. @vapman do you think there's chance of melting the POM during hot draws?

I’d be interested this as well but after watching so many videos on the Vapman I seem to remember a comment about being able to clean the POM in boiling water. And I feel like it would not get as hot as being dropped into boiling water but I could easily be wrong.

I wouldn’t want to try it on my own without confirmation from Vapman themselves

POM is dishwasher safe and I have also tried this without any damage. The melting point of POM is 175°C / 347°F.

As the Vapman is usually only heated when you do not draw, I see no problem with the application.
If you are still not comfortable with POM, you can simply use wood, glass or metal mouthpieces.

is this thing on?
The POM is safe in this application, it has no direct contact to the washer below the middle piece for example. I have used one for 5 years and it's like day one. Every month or so I run a pipe cleaner with ethanol through it and it's clean again. No worries.
I like the new borosilicate stem a lot though

I've been using the white POM AAF stem with no problems. I might get one of the metal ones, but only because the POM model feels pretty lightweight. Functionally it's fine though.

I saw a discussion of the POM once pointing out that when dropped, the POM is lightweight and allows the Vapman to hit on a wooden part and bounce, whereas a metal or glass mouthpiece may weigh enough to turn over during the tumble, hit the floor first, and send a jolt through the entire thing that can damage the structure of the vape.

That makes sense. Nice!

I remember seeing this in a video as well! Pretty sure it was one of the videos where they interview the guys from Vapman and they mentioned this. I seem to remember that Rene (sorry if I misspelled or missed an accent) still uses the POM just because of its ease of use while cleaning haha

Just heard that the wooden Vapmobile won't be able to fit the borosilicate mouthpiece, but the guys are planning a different case that will...

Oh, they also plan on releasing a Vapman in Kotibé (eventually). 👍
Wonder if a new egg design to incorporate the glass stem would be possible :D All though then it would probably make it much less pocketable

You can use a 4-cell battery case to carry it separated with a borosilicate MP, if you want to.

I posted a picture of one in situ a few pages back. I'll try and find it for you...

Found it!

Wow really cool! Fits almost perfectly in that little 4 cell case. Thank you! I actually have never tried the borosilicate stem but I think it will be my next purchase. Haven’t heard anything bad about it. I just like how everything fits so nicely in the egg with one of the other stems. It adds to the uniqueness of the Vapman which I love so much

I've got two borosilicate, one inox (stainless steel), one titanium, and three POM (two white, one black) mouthpieces across four Vapmen.

I much prefer the POM. It's easy to clean, doesn't affect the taste, pretty much unbreakable, doesn't feel cold against the lips, and won't hurt your teeth as much if you accidentally whack yourself in the gob with one! Lol

The only type I've never tried are the wooden ones.

Hahaha honestly that’s why I like the POM as well even though it’s plastic. Ease of cleaning is one of my top priorities because I can definitely get lazy with cleaning.

Anyone ever taken their Vapman on a plane? I have a small vacation coming up and wanted to take it with me. But I’d be extremely nervous about them taking it at the airport. The flight would be to a Hawaiian island if that matters.

Hello everyone...I just want to ask. What happened to the Vapman heating station? On the site it does not have it anylonger...
