Hopefully I can help you with my feedback on the station as I get familiar with it and the vapmanI find magic eraser sponges in any supermarket/grocery store next to the regular kitchen sponges if that helps…
I am so torn between what to get first... A Grasshopper for my silent (home) and stealth (outdoors) needs or a VS1 for my silent (home) need (AKA woman sleeping...)?
The GH is looking promising, if they can stay afloat and get orders filled. I'll probably get one myself once they are commercially available pending reports from users.
EDIT: Ok, I've had the chance to get familiar with this and really get all of the goods out of my material. A few more observations:
- This is the most convenient vape to connect to a piece and rivals my dnails for ease of use. The smallness makes it the most comfortable vape I've ever had in terms of connecting it to glass. Straight into a 14mm reducer!
- The warm up time is a little more than I initially thought, but still somewhat quicker than my Mighty now that I have my technique down. Under a minute with the torch on .05 of bubble, just over a minute with the station (at 5.5 about 4-6 cycles - I've realized this is like the torch heating technique more, in that it takes a few hits of heat to get all the material bubbling in there!)
- The clouds can rival pretty much anything I've used. It has that intense thick tangible quality in the throat that Sublimator vapor had when I get it right!
- The flavor is definitely not as good as my convection vapes (Mighty/Crafty/E-Nano/Sublimator but I prefer it to the Solo!) but these are a high benchmark! Still the flavor is improving with time, I have noticed this effect with other vapes with wooden vapor paths in the past too so I am quite comfortable with this
- The flavor on cbd sap was outstanding! Especially on the station! I suspect that the shatter will be even nicer still since I have some beautiful cluster bomb live resin for my meds just now. I have found generally that the station's more reliable heat levels bring better flavor as a benefit but take slightly longer to reach ideal temp than the torch.
- The torch is really easy to use though, much easier than the Lotus was! The ease of use and handling this device as well as ease of cleaning is great, easier to maintain than any vape I've owned (save for the dnail, which it is about on par with in this regard). I just torch my screens because with the vapman I know I cook all the goods out of those heads!
- I still have not attempted this vape with flowers yet! I really don't much care for them lol When I do, I will report back! Also when I finally try out that live resin absolute! I was way too medicated from bubble in my new vapman to contemplate taking it up to that level.
Glad to be on board with the Vapman as a daily driver alongside my dnail. I am sure the Mighty will continue to get use, but not as often as the vapman - this thing is very comfortable to use with not all that much learning curve for a torch vape!
The station is amazing too once you keep in mind that it will take a few cycles to heat up to temp
I'll have to get to videos later, work got the better of my time today and I am sleepy from all this testing of the vapman
