News.....
The Prima is NOT discontinued, and is still being made, by Vapir.
The Rise is no longer (for now), but other vapes are going to be coming up.
I would not be surprised if the Rise comes back.
They are in fact having a sale now on their website.
I am here to advise of a new Vapir product...
a 510 threaded Battery that I will tell more about later.
Check this new "Air2" Battery at http://www.vapir.com/air2-vaporizer-battery

Was using mine all 420. Bag after bag. Was great. Wasn’t shitting the bed like my Haze Square. I think it may be time to put it to rest the poor Square.

While I'm here, wondering if it's safe to cover the whip when not inhaling to prevent vapor loss while the fan is running? Could this damage the Fan/overheat the unit?

We did that all the time, especially with multi-whips - if you don't cover your whip when others are inhaling, it defuses the hit with air from their whip - so it was common practice around my house to always cover.

Thanks, couldn't find any other information about this online. Just want to be safe!

@ginolicious Thank you as well, it would be a pain to keep turning the fan on/off throughout a session however, especially considering the fact I generally take hits about every 10 seconds or so, about 20 hits a session, that would be a lot of back and forth playing with the fan.

I've kept it on the lowest setting and found the vapor loss to be minimal, but it still sucks to lose any vapor. Read about the 2.0 but the only main difference I could find between the two is the fanless option, and an increased maximum temperature?

Thanks for the help guys

I only use a 2.0. And I never use the fan unless using balloons.

But I don’t see an issue with placing your finger over the mouthpiece with the fan running by any means. @Solomon has been doing that for s long time.

@ginolicious thanks bro. How about leaving the unit on constantly in stand by mode? Is the VapirRise a type of desktop that is intended to leave on 24 or best to shut the unit off when not using, at night, etc? Couldn't find any accurate information on this either, so I thought that I would ask to be sure. Thanks in advance

I don’t leave mine on 24 hours at a time. I don’t like running anything like that personally. Not even computers. Just don’t like it. I don’t see a problem with doing it though. F it’s not heating it’s fine. I do leave mine on for a few hours at a time when I do use it. It’s been time since I used it last. I think 420 was the last time.
