Good friend has an NO2 V2 and it heats up in about 40 secs vs 75 seconds for my V1.

Haven't asked about battery life (which is supposed to be better too)

I was considering trading in my V1 for $75, but it doesn't seem worth it...

They should have asked us before they came out with the NO2 V2. I would have liked to see them jack the heat up to 420F and make a bullet that slips into heating chamber for oils and such; I would have pulled the trigger for that version. As it stands, I will wait for my NO2 V1 to die than upgrade to version 3...maybe.

I used a pinnacle bullet for herbs in the no2 works great better then a plain screen. Just needs to be a higher temp to use concentrated with the solid bullet, like you said.

Hi,
I'm new to vaporisers.
About two days ago, I've got my first vaporiser - Vapir No2 V2.
Before vaporising I've been smoking like a chimney (Bongs, joints etc.).
With vapor, I've vaped about 2.0g (8x0.2g-0.3g) and just can't get that high state, what I get from the bong, for example. It's kinda close, but...

- I grind herbs as good as I can.
- I fill heating chamber not more than 3/4 full.
- I fill in herbs, then press heating button, and start pulling.
- I start with temperatures around 180C and in the end setting closely to 200C, step by step.
- For about 10-15 minutes of vaping, when I exhale, I can see a thin smoke coming out.
- I'm trying to draw slowly, rather than fast.

What am I doing wrong?
Any suggestions? The vaping starts to look like disappointing.

P.s. Sorry for bad English.

You want to heat the unit up then add the herb when the light turns green. And take long slow 8-10second draws. The high is going to be a little different. More heady and take a little bit to set in. If you want bigger clouds turn the temp up higher and draw for longer.

What color is your herb coming out? Also you prolly wont need to vape 2g thats alott when it comes to vaping for one person

Hi,

You need to give yourself time to learn to enjoy the improvements Vapor can offer.
The missing componant that people misunderstand as an effect of marijuana, is the heavy sedating feeling that comes from breathing in Carbon Monoxide.
Users become used to that joined effect and then look for it when they medicate.
If you switch to vaporization, and do not combust for about a week or two, then you will become aware of the longer lasting euphoric feeling, as well as the absence of the sedative Carbon Monoxide effects.
You will also notice absence of a "crash".. the coming down part of smoking.
Vaporization will carry you with euphoria, and instead of a crash, you coast in slowly for a landing... never noticing at times that you are now not medicated!
Stick with it for 2 weeks, and I believe your view might change.

Has anyone used the NO2 without the stem/wand? I tried it several times at 345; it was hot but acceptable, and while I may be fooling myself, I think it may get me a bit more medicated. I know the stem gets oil on it after several sessions, and if you do away with the stem your absorbing the oil that would be on it. If it's too much heat for some, they can simply shorten the wand. Besides for it seeming more efficient, the unit is also easier to transport.

@Ronp My no2 has had a vaporgenie mouthpiece attached to it with a inch and a half of magic flight silicone whip since the day I got it, I like it much better then the vapir mouthpiece and tubing. I don't see it being more efficient but it sure feels and looks better to me.

Thanks so much for advice, everyone.
It seems that all I need is time.

P.s. Maybe I'm extremely addictive, but, at least now, It seems that I can not enjoy the high state, without carbon monoxide.

If you take the time you will enjoy it.
Vape at high temperatures, and be willing to do a few chambers back to back.
In the beginning, I remember that I liked to smoke... but once you hit a certain saturation point using a vaporizer, that is the moment that your body, and senses will from then on be more repelled by the tastes of combustion.
Some folks take longer than others.
It took me about a week.
I am fairly mature in years, and have known many people that made the change from combustion.
Some still smoke once in a while.
Some switch faster than the week I required.
There are folks that take longer... 2 weeks.
Few people embrace change... we like the status quo.
I am hoping that you'll give it a shot.
While you would be sacrificing the "high" you know for the time being,
sacrifices come with rewards.
Once on the other side, the feeling becomes more tangible, more intense when you want it to be, and without a number of the side effects that you associate as positive.... Side effects which if experienced on their own accord, and without the act of consumtion of MJ, might feel unacceptable if isolated.
Example: If you got an ear piercing during every orgasm, you would become accustomed to the paired stimuli. The thought of ear piercings would elicit the desire for sex!
If you had to get your ears pierced a few times without an orgasm......

I think you see where I am going with this.

Or..you could have the opposite problem.

One of the things I liked to do when I combusted was to take a quick hit or 2 around mid-day to ward off pain, but when I started vaping, I found myself consistently over-medicated with the NO2. To a combuster, a "scoop" just seemed like so little - not even a decent small bowl - so I didn't even consider that I could go even smaller. But you can.

To fulfill my "quick hit" need with my NO2, I put in a half scoop and turn it up to 395. That's good for just a few heavy hits, and done. In less than 5 minutes from start to finish. I am medicated, but not "stoned".

@Vitolo - I always listen to your sage advice, but now for unknown reasons, all I can think about is getting my ears pierced...

Hey guys, i am new to the community and am in a bit of a situation. I was gifted an No2 vaporizer from my cousin and it seemed to be working great for the few months i've had it. I used it twice today and went to use it a third time only to find the device dead. Without the power supply the unit will not turn on, but if the power supply is attached then it will turn on for 2 seconds and shut off. It does this repeatedly and i'm really confused as to what it could be. Releasing the charge and re-seating the battery does not help no matter how many times i've tried. The only answer i can come up with is a malfunctioning power supply. Any advice is well appreciated.

Have you tried running the NO2 plugged in without the battery? Was this gifted as a used unit?

As @Vitolo said, you probably need a new battery.

However to further troubleshoot the battery you can try charging your battery out of the unit with a micro-USB cable for about an hour and then test in the unit to see if it will hold a charge. If it does hold a charge, you likely need a power supply and if it doesn't then you likely need a battery.

If you believe its the power supply then test the output with a multimeter, the specs are printed on the power supply.

The NO2 is a solid vape, the vape itself shouldn't just stop working under normal circumstances.

No2 should run with no battery, remove battery or flip it around so it's not charging battery and try power supply.
No2 power supply puts out 13volts.
But
You could use a 12 volt power supply also, just remove battery or flip it so the power supply just heats the unit.itself.
You can charge the battery with the 12 volt also it will charge but may take a bit longer.

I'm all about conserving bud, being that it's so expensive at the dispensory. I have a 1/2' SS straight screen in my mouth piece. I have a vapir OEM screen at the bottom of my bowl, but I put another OEM "top hat" screen half way up the bowl. The no2 hit so nice, I almost didn't believe it was half a bowl.
