just wanted to post in the thread and introduce myself since I just placed my order for the NO2 with some additional screens on vapeworld...

after a lot of research, reading and posting on FC, i decided to go with the NO2....tell me im gonna love this thing guys!!!

cant wait for it to get here, hurry up USPS!

You will love your No2. After extensive research the No2 was my first vape after a shitty box vape. I loved it and used it heavily for over a year, then sold it. I have a solo and RZ on the way, and yet I badly wish I didnt sell my no2.

Ok, EXTREMELY new to vapes, LOVE this website/forum. You guys and your knowledge base is amazing! So, after research and changing my mind a dozen times, this is the one I'm thinking of getting as my FIRST vaporizer.

I only would use it 4-5 days a week. Now, I'm a combustion herbalist, 4-5 puffs and I'm happy. So, I didn't want to spend $400+. And the portability is definitely a perk for that once in a blue moon I'd use it elsewhere. It was tough between iolite, WSPR, MLB, and this.

Did I choose wisely given my needs? :brow:

*EDIT*
I'm seeing these on AMAZON from several dealers for around $100? Wow

I have used the No2, MFLB and Iolite, but not a WISPR.

For easy of use, fat rips and secrecy the No2 is what you want. I had one for a year and a half and loved it to death. They work great. I regret selling mine.

You will NOT be dissapointed if you get an No2. I'm sure Vitolo can chip in on this matter.

Thanks Muscle. I lift too, nice screen name. Those are all the things I want. haha! I appreciate ability to control the temp too, I was enjoying reading through this thread and seeing people trying out different temps. Kind of a turn off that the other portables don't quite offer that option, even with some higher price tags. And, frankly, with any of my girls I hang out with, I really don't want to have to explain on the MFLB how to only hold the battery in for ___seconds. This seems a bit easier to share with a friend who maybe hasn't vaped.

Exactly. The No2 is a great vape. Very few vapes have Digital readouts, let alone hard-hitting portables. The No2 is a great vape for anyone to use. Its so user friendly. Get one from PUI with a free car addapter.

My #1 and ONLY complaint about the No2 is I found with frequent use the unit gets pretty gummed up pretty quick. I guess this isn't really escapeable with any portable aside from the MFLB (only needs a brush out once in a while). I damn near broke my top-screen holder trying to twist it off with nasty pliers because it had frozen so hard with vapor goo.

This is entirely avoidable with frequent cleaning, you just may find you have to do it pretty often.

I had a very early production No2 and mine had no smell. My understanding is only a very few had a smell issue, and of those a few might have been some sensitive noses. I'd suggest rubbing down the chamber, silocone tube, mouth piece and plastic areas around the chamber with 91% ISO, and then run it for a short while at 400F. After that you should be golden!

Make sure to soak your tube in hot water when you get it, that was the only part that really stank on mine.........burn in was mildly stinky though :/

Honestly, I took mine out of the box, loaded the chamber, turned it on and started vapin'. No smell or anything what so ever. Took me 6 months to get around to washing anything on it. The No2 is a bitchin' device.

I have a solo on order but I'm a bit disapointed it wont be able to reach the variety of temperatures the No2 could, as well as the really low temps (300-330F). Who knows, I may get an No2 again. I'd love to see a V2 a little bit smaller.

Save it for the no2! You'll be happy you did. The taste from the no2 is great plus you'll save a ton of bud.

I feel your pain man, I have had a solo coming by priority mail for more than a week... Should have been 2 days.

THCMuscle, I am very interested to hear your opinions between the NO2 and the Solo when you recieve your unit. I am currently in the market for a battery powered vape but have been skeptical to pull the trigger based on whats being said.

SpartyOn... THCMuscle has a good clear head about the vapes, and will give a clear opinion I am sure.
I am using my original NO2 for a year now.
I got use of a Solo for a month a few weeks back, and I gave it back after a week.
This is the NO2 thread, so I will leave it at saying I prefer my NO2 to the Solo.
I do keep and collect vapes I feel are user friendly for patients, and cost efficient in maintenance.
I never felt that way about the Solo, but I do feel that way about the Vapir NO2 and many other vapes also!

Reading early on in this thread, I heard a lot about the plastic taste from almost everybody, do you still find yourselves having the same problems?

Some hits tasted great on the Solo.
The hotter hits got slightly bitter.
The hits flavor was very variant depending on proper packing.
Back to the NO2-
I am a clean fanatic, so I did follow instructions and wash tubing and charge unit for an appropriate time before using it.
I never tasted plastic. My NO2 tastes as pure and good as the day I got it!

Well Vit, after the Solo creating such a high pitched noise it made my ears hurt, I think I'll be trading it in for another No2! I'm stupid for selling mine. I think the No2 is ahead of all other portables due to its infinite temperature scale.

Damn guys. You've really got me interested in the No2. I love my MFLB for myself when out and about, but I was thinking of getting a more communal portable, something I could take to friends houses and share without a tutorial. Gonna have to read the whole thread now!

yup those are some of the same reasons why I decided to go with an NO2 over other options....about as simple as it gets yet can produce great hits at any temperature you want...and u can pass it around like a normal combustion pipe!

keeping fingers crossed, mine should be here today if USPS doesnt fuck it up again

The MFLB for me is for a fast blast on the go.
The NO2 is a portable full vape session on the move.

When you do get it put the battery in and plug it in,
turn on the switch on the side
and turn the temp to
400 degrees F or 205 C
(holding the red button will change the temp between Fahrenheit & Celsius)
Then press the RED button, let it heat up,red light will turn green when it hit set temp.
Dont put the cap on.
Now go read the manual ,and put the tube in hot but not boiling water.
After the light goes out the unit will feel warm let it sit for 2-4 minutes and turn it on again to highest temp. let it burn off again at high temp if you wish,
When i did a new No2 i also blew hard through the side where the vents are. while the unit was heating just to get fresh air in
I did that twice and left it at friends house for him,
He used it as soon as he got home, and had no problem, went there the next day and it works fine no smell what so ever.
When your ready to vape I set it for 375, when it hits temp I drop down to 360-370F add herb, wait a half a minute and draw slow,
as the vapor starts to diminish I bump temp up to 375 then 390 to finish it off.
you can open it and dump in hand to check out the ABV should get brown when you get the burnt popcorn taste or no more vapor, dump and add more.
I've been leaving the temp at 360 -365 and get a nice steady vapor, as the No2 gets all heated up can leave the temp lower I read that some one leaves his at 330F a little to low for me but I always used it at 375 and above for really nice clouds, just started using the lower360F temp with great results.

The switch on the side must be ON for the battery to charge, the heater is only on when the temp light is RED or GREEN.
Also when you put the tip on the tube push the tube in the tip as far as you can so you get no air leaking into the tip.you'll see.
If you leave herb in the No2 with the heater on(red or green light) and don't hit it you will smell cooked herb, so finish the load and empty it if the herb isn't done and don't load the bowl past 3//4 leave a little room for the herb to move around i never have to stir it i just give it a shake,
and not too fine on the grind a little coarser than a launch box grind i use my 1.5 grinder and some times a 2 inch grinder. both 4 piece and let it sift through no holding upside down. :2c: :peace:
enjoy
