Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Hey guys,

I have found that while I do get good vapor production around the 12-2 oclock range on my cloud, at these settings there will usually be a bit o' green towards the top of the ELB around the edges even after several long pulls. I usually creep the dial up towards MAX in order to get to that part. Sometimes I drill a screw down into the ELB with my fingers which is a great mixer. and also helps

But I find that when going over 12' on the dial, I start beginning to taste the metal screen, even through the hydratubes. When at max temp, it's pretty noticeable to me.

Now I have tried taking the ELBs and soaking them in ISO. I also took another one and lightly roasted it with a butane torch. That probably helped the most but didn't eliminate the metallic taste I get on higher temps.

Again, I don't notice it at 12. I start to notice it strongly at MAX.

Also, how many back to back ELBs can people here ABV-Cache to completion? I am finding that trying to thoroughly exhaust the ELBs before reloading is really tiring my lungs out because finishing the ELB starts to take really long pulls at the end. The other night I had to take a 30 min break after 2 ELBs back to back. Any technique suggestions?

Thanks!! I technically bought it for car use. But I lost my DL until January 7th so I won't be trying it till then. I'll have to make a cloud vid with it as well :)
Haha i want the headstrap again! Virtual Cloud reality pfhaha i always forget these cameras are waterproof (in the housing) too haha

gonna have to get the cloud in the grow groom and make it cloudy now :)

Sounds to me like using less material in your ELB might be worth a go. I get best performance with 50% ELB loads or less, making sure the meds are not packed or compressed in any way.

hahaha xchad... no I of course remove the screw and put the ELB cap back on. It just works really well as a mixer. If you "drill" the screw down to the bottom then keep turning it, it will push the material from the top to the bottom easily. To remove the screw you "unscrew it" again with your fingers or you will pull the whole contents out.

Thanks t-dub. I will try smaller ELBs. I am packing mine mostly full right now.

imo dry medicine loosely packed at 9 gets me great taste , huge clouds and a great buzz. I prefer shaken not stirred.

haha just had to stab at it :)

try a sticky note with the edge folded over, or a buisness card withe a crease on one side
hold it up to the mouth of the ELB, hold the card and spin the ELB back n fworth between your thumb and index finger like rolling a joint, and the friction from the lip of the ELB should scoot the herb down and pack it LIGHTLY.

let the herb just sit on top of itself, if it doesnt go down with a tap on the side, its full.

I really like this little gizmo I made, just inset an ELB and then inhale to suck your medicine in. Its just an HA mouthpiece connected to a vapor hose adapter with some Silcon tubing, but this little device revolutionized the way I pack and use ELBs. If I need to fluff the bowl contents the spear point of a SkilleTools HoneyBun works great :)

I am getting scared. Another 25$ base price increase on all glass (including vape packages). So every week 25$ up or so? That can't be. I hope it really stops. I think I'm not saving fast enough anymore, the skyrocketing of these prices got faster. 600$ for a standard 2.0 package now. What will be tomorrow? :uhoh:

I think that VXL had a sale for New Years so they are probably just back to regular price. But I haven't even checked and may be wrong. I kinda like the price increases...I bought mine before that so I feel like my Cloud is a Stock or something and is all of a sudden worth more!

That's odd man, i'm extremely picky and sensitive to fowl tastes and smells, and I honestly can't say i've noticed the taste of stainless. Maybe it will subside in time, like a Solo? I'll have to keep an eye out for that, and i'll try some clean elbs on max temp.

My old ticking Cloud was just like that...the newer firmware you havta bump up the temp by a notch or two to match the old firmware.

^That looked fun Xchadb! That routine looks like it would get your brain woken up quickly and efficiently! Fun video as well! Keep 'em comin!

Question: Has anyone used the cloud buddy with a 65T? Any drawbacks to note? I was thinking that it might be a good stand alone set up when you have more than one user. It's easy to teach someone that all they need to worry about is filling the can and pulling the plug! As long as it doesn't cause the user to get the intake of the cloud too close for comfort it looks like it would be ideal for this application!

I've never noticed the metal taste either, with both my old ticking unit that ran hot and my new non-ticking unit. Maybe it's the screws you use to stir the bowl that impart the metallic taste?

Yeah I have to agree, I run it quite high (well like 1 O Clock), and I definitely never ever tasted metal. However, when I used to smoke out of metal pipes I could taste it. I don't think I'm uber sensitive to it though, but nonetheless, I've never tasted anything but high quality vapor.

My cloud tools - the stir tool was the glass tool that came from 7th floor, I cut the glass off and inserted it into an exacto handle, the 5/8 brush fits perfectly in an ELB to clean it and the angled adapter from Arizer houses an ELB perfectly - I insert the ELB and provide a little suction on the other end and vacuum up my grinds.

High peeps, hope all r well.

How highs the h2o sposed 2 b in the evolver hydracirc.?

Seems like the vapor comes outta toob way above the cuts and h2o would have 2 b high enuf to go down that same toob to fock the heater. Amirite?

Hmmm, if your saying the vapor is coming out from a place it shouldn't then I would be concerned. Are you sure it's coming out from somewhere other than the slits?

The vapor should come out of the slits. And the water should be right above the slits. At least that's what I was told. I have a tree though

With vapor a short fill is desirable. I find it interesting that both my Evolver HydraCirc and my DG fritted disc take the same amount of liquid, 60ml, to operate. A little above the slits, 1/4 " roughly, my Evolver in this pic might be slightly overfilled actually . . . ;)
