Did your heater wires become disconnected? I would try fixing one if it was broken. You can't break it more. Haha.Oh, OK... I did the $250 trade in deal. I'd love to have it fixed as a backup, and I can't believe nobody here has the skill to do it! If I did, I'd start a little side thing and fix all the broken Clouds for $50
Actually you can. A member has baought a busted Cloud and tried to resolder it with help of some master welder. They failed as the heat broke the heater. Also the glass can be broken in process.Did your heater wires become disconnected? I would try fixing one if it was broken. You can't break it more. Haha.
What if you used conductive adhesive that cures at 250f?Actually you can. A member has baought a busted Cloud and tried to resolder it with help of some master welder. They failed as the heat broke the heater. Also the glass can be broken in process.
Are you talking about this??A long time ago, someone posted a "freezing device" that gets your glass and stuff cold really fast, and you can buy all the parts to make it for like $20. Does anybody remember that?
I can't find it. Anybody got a link to that post in this thread?

I'm not sure where the post is, but I remember this video from an older post.
That's what I've been looking at. The 650 rated one. Wonder how much the 2oz package costs....Not too sure if the clouds heater is part of the air path or not, so take this with a grain of salt...
Talking about repairing old clouds and high temp adhesives, take a look at these:

Temps from 450 to 650F
there is no real need! You can buy a bag vape cheaper if that's what you want jmo though!
That is very true. I hope to offer a deal to fix clouds in the near future. Just got to do a few tests. Stay tuned.I'm an expert with a soldering iron but when I took my friends broken cloud apart I discovered there wasn't really anything to solder to. It's extremely fragile.
There ya go! I'll leave it to the pros then. Excited to see the results. That is very true. I hope to offer a deal to fix clouds in the near future. Just got to do a few tests. Stay tuned.
Working on it this week.Yea, man. If you you could figure out a way to fix these, you could do some business. I would just like it as a backup
No, I'm talking about having the cloud upside-down sitting balanced on my 18inch stemless bong sidecar. I used to do it with my herbalaire and it was some champagne and limousines treatment. Felt really bionic and pampered... hahaha.
BIG day today, the Sox are world champs, the kids are all ready to trick or treat, and the first batch of EVO's are going out!!
Way2 is a happy guy!
so why would you use a VXL to fill a bag just to put it in a waterpipe? Wouldn't you just use the cloud first and skip the bag step? I mean the vapor lung is cool but that defeats the purpose, don't you think? That'd totally work, but to achieve the same end even more effectively, I'd recommend using a vapour lung.
Versus the positive pressure of the downstream pump, the high negative pressure the lung generates seems to aid extraction. Evapouration occurs more readily in a lower pressure environment, which means the same volume of air passed over your substrate, at the same temperature, will be able to pick up more goodies.
Plus a lung can easily pull arbitrary flow, and fill as slowly or quickly as you want. It's pretty nifty to see a 2 litre hit of vapour just magically appear in a bottle over as little as two seconds. The fountain of thick vapour gushing up to fill the vacuum space is a pleasing sight. They're just fun to play with.
And if you make a lung with an 18 to 14mm reducer as the opening (the most common design), after you fill it with vape you can plug it straight on a water pipe (that's been adapted to 14mm male), and hit it filtered. Unlike bag vape, this stuff is thick (thick as the later part of a long draw, or even signifiantly more so), so the water helps.

Variety is the spice of life.
If I wanted to use a bag with the VXL, I'd take a normal hit and all, then blow my hit into the bag. My friends and I sometimes do this thing called "the scuba" where you treat the bag as an air tank and break with it for a few breaths (putting thumb on bag opening and getting fresh air when necessary). Very efficient use of vapor.
