About the name, I actually like the Eagle better!
I don't get the anti-eagle vibe here...its just a name... get over it.

Perhaps the majority of people here think its worse but I'm going to bet that the Eagle would be more popular in the general public...

Anyway, marketing? "The Eagle" is awesome.

I invested 500$ in the device (1000$ if I was from NorthAmerica, actually I'm going to bet 500$ for me is more than what is 1000$ for you - wages and different countries etc)

And they're really in no position to make any more. This comeback has to work for them and downright botching the name right out of the gate may very well spell disastrous consequences, not only for the new model but ultimately the fate of VXL going forward as well.

As he is introduced to his options by the store employee, he hears that they carry the Volcano, Extreme Q, Mad Flight Launch Box and the Eagle. Knowing nothing about vaporizers, do you think that he would be more likely to be subconsciously drawn to the "Eagle" over the others? Perhaps.

Exactly. I work for an insurance company with an eagle logo. No one decides not to buy from the company because they like geckos more. They compare rates and what features/benefits are best for them.
