Is the Cloud warranty transferable?
Also with respect to the 1hr timer, is there an audible tone or beep as well or does it just turn off? Without the audible I could see this as a very annoying feature to never know when it will turn off. Otherwise we're all gonna start using times with our Clouds just so we know when we have to flip the switch on an off.
Otherwise, I assume at ANY point in the one hour we just have to toggle the switch to reset the timer? If that's the case I hope those switches are decent because they will be getting much usage.

Quick question...are Cloud owners finding themselves stirring the bowl?
I know that this has already been discussed a lot (especially in the old thread), but now that more people own the Cloud I am interested to hear whether people are finding stirring necessary or not.

General consensus is a normal sized, lightly packed bowl really needs no stirring.
Its when you pack it rather tight and full that you might want to give it a stir (or two) during the sesh.

I tried stirring, not stirring... even tumbling the ELB around a bit but I found no difference in how the herb cooked. Even without stirring at all I end up with very evenly cooked bowls. Very impressive. I don't cram them full, about 2/3 full, loose pack = no need for stirring IMHO. I've never seen a blackened fleck even as I might in my SSV with a newer user trying it. Very nice job on efficiency with the Cloud.
I just got some good full melt wax tested at 80% THC 76%CBD(whatever that means lol). But the lab also checks for butane residue and it got 0.0% so thats ok with me. I'm wondering has anyone hit oils or wax in the ELB? I don't want it to drip through and wan't to hit it without herb. Should I stick it to bottom of cap or am I gonna have to cut a small screen and add it to one of my ELB? As long as it wont restrict airflow..

I have never really tried oils or wax...but have always been interested and my dispensary has been doing a lot of them lately. Didn't people discuss the liquid pads they sell for the Volcano? Has anyone tried to put one of them in a ELB?
If that worked I would maybe feel comfortable enough to buy some bho or wax and try in my Cloud...

FUCK! My Hydra tube is broke! I was unwrapping everything like a kid on Christmas and after admiring the unit I carefully began unwrapping the tube and immediately knew something was wrong because I could hear glass rattling. Sure enough, the circ perc is not even attached to the top part of the tube. Not blaming anyone, just a bad fucking day for me. Sending SM an email right now to see what we can do.

don't know much about oil but what i do is put a few small balls of hash on top of the abv and hit it. I was very impressed with the efficiency. could definitely taste the hash. I stirred in up but Idk if that was even necessary

its pretty cool that the lab tests for residual butane. can you please elaborate on this process? iirc there was a thread on tokecity about how to actually test for residual butane, and i am not sure if any actual consensus was reached.

Bummer!!!! But you know it still could be used. I flipped a GVG over to let a friend try out. He's a little clumsy to be holding a HT.
Regarding oil/wax, not quite there yet but I am messing with the idea of using an ELB with two tops as I see one top fits snugly into another and that might be a good "chamber". We'll see. Man, this fuckin Cloud rocks. I'm sure most of you know those brow folding, body numbing, ear ringing, eye warming hits where you feel somewhere else for a moment....the cloud has given more of them type of doses in the past week then about 3 years w/ the SSV.

I haven't posted cuz uhhh, I have really nothing of interest to say that hasn't already been said... but since you ask, here's a few thoughts since I have 2 minutes: If there is a better vaporizer out there, I haven't seen it or tried it. This is it for me -- zero irritation, big clouds, efficient burning, top notch taste, beautiful design..I could go on and on but will stop for fear of being called a fanboi. 2 of my hard smoking neighbors tried it yesterday -- they were FLOORED -- when I first told them 'Vape' I could see their eyes roll back and go ya ya ya, we've tried those things, don't like em. One tube later they were both believers -- it was awesome to see the look of shock on their faces as they exhaled. One of them said, "But the taste...just WOW" Those who have it know what I'm talking about. It wasn't hype -- it's the real thing baby.

I've found that one stir/crush halfway through the bowl seems to introduce new surface area to the heat and gives you a little extra shot of the super thick, tasty vapor - similar to what you get from the first couple hits on a bowl.
Oh, and halfway through for me is about about 3 - 5 hits, depending on size of the hits and how full the bowl is packed.
Have I said already that I LOVE this vape? It has yet to disappoint. And the fact that you NEVER get that burnt popcorn taste... ! I didn't even know that was possible with a vape.

Ok guys, I'm not turning this into a grinders thread -- I just want 1-2 responses. I'm getting a Space Case 2pc (I think) to use w/the Cloud. Will a Small or Medium work best w/this vape - or does it not really matter?

I have the medium, it is pretty large (bigger than I would have liked), just depends how much you want to grind at a time. I actually ended up going back to my old cheap 4 piece after getting my space case 2pc...just flip upside down while grinding then flip and give a few more turns. I just found it was so much nicer not having to dump out the contents of the grinder. So if you want to save yourself the money, that is just my

medium is kosher for me as well. The money you saved might be worth investing into the SC titanium. It really isn't titanium I just hear the finish is really strong.

SM said the grind for your other vapes will work fine with the cloud. I use scissors works for me. Personally I would not spend the money for a High dollar grinder. Rather buy medicine

Yes! I totally know what you mean, it's almost like nitrous. Man, I haven't done that since high school. But ya, I can see that for sure. I've also had the SSV in my rotation forever('05, 4 heater covers later still kickin' ass), and it's rang my bell plenty, but I can definitely imagine The VXC doing so much more consistently.
AOC I'm sorry to hear about your luck, I hope that you are still able to enjoy your Cloud today, even if it's without water in your HT.
I just got done with my first session.
Damn is thing badass.
The HT is smaller than I thought it would be, which I like, and has a nice weight to it.
Loaded a bowl barely half full, turned it to 9 on the dial and took a couple rips. Super tasty. best I've had taste wise, it's not even close. I exhaled good sized hits, but the HT wasn't lookin too milky. Hits were easy to hold in, but were still satisfying.
Dumped out that bowl to finish later so I could load a fresh bowl just over 2/3 full, turned the dial to 12 and stuck in on my 18in stemless 6 arm tree. Holy shit. Huge rips. Really had to work to hold it in. I took a few giant rips and I am BLAZED.
The cloud is what I wanted it to be. Outstanding job gentlemen.
When it gets time to start creating accessories for the cloud I would love a secure cap of some sort to cover the top of the cloud and protect the glass joint. Or maybe a sheath of some kind. Just in case.
And an HT blown by TAFKAGM that's inspired by the mobius shower matrix with a bent neck.

This has been an amazing few months. I'm super stoked to read the reviews and we jot down all the ideas that people have shared in this thread. I look forward to when we can get through the pre-orders and begin selling all the various accessories to further enhance the Cloud experience.
@agentofchaos - Your replacement HT will be off in the mail tomorrow. Sorry AofC, hopefully you have some other glass pieces to use it with. Should get to you by Friday at the latest.
