Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I just put this picture together because I was sitting here hitting my ion, staring at my HC, and it hit me that it would be cool to have a bubbler that was the 18mm dewar joint, with a male 18mm joint on the neck, so you can place your HT/HC etc... in line, and use it. This may not make sense, or seem excessive to some, but I thought it would be clever to have if you are like me and want the cloud upside down so water is less likely to leak in, and still get to use the tube. Do these style bubs already exist?

photo for example, it is not to scale, or meant to be precise.

The only problem with that is the loud whistling noise from the Cloud. Otherwise it my have been a good idea.

My Cloud whistles when its cold, but when it heats up, it distorts just enough to stop :)

Well, my perfectly straight 18mm non-diffused downstem as I use as dry piece for the cloud won't quite work with the devastator, need something that curves back.

Hope you release something like that, with it :D

I love how low volume it is, but is going to still have some serious diffusion

This has been posted before, but Kulture has curved bubbler mouthpieces designed for bubblers they sell that are pretty similar to the Devastator. I use one of those mouthpieces as a dry hitter and it's perfect, it's like casually sipping a classy straw from a soda can of vapor. :) VXL should totally start selling something like those mouthpieces, they are perfect for dry hitting the Cloud and they still allow it to give dense ass tasty vapor like no other vape I know!

Note: Kulture has sold out of the 18mm mouthpieces and bubblers so I posted links to their 14mm ones. Here's hoping they restock soon! I'd probably pick up a spare mouthpiece in case I break mine - I like using it that much haha.

I promised you guys a few weeks ago that this is just the beginning for VapeXhale, here is a small teaser shot of the Devastator. VapeXhale is where VAS meets GAS... enjoy :science:

Release date - very soon

Nice to see I'm tapped into the same wavelength... Looking forward to bent neck HT/HCs too. I tried to order one of those stems from Kulture, but they were out of stock and had to refund my order.

You are seriously going to cause me to go broke, and my wife to divorce me. Holy shit, that devastator looks like just what the doctor ordered. LMFAO! :-)

1. You need to make a portable unit next :-). I just bought a PAX for on the go, otherwise I woulda bought more HydraTubes :-)

Just read over the tips advice, so here's what I got.

Meds are dry, but we were packing bowls tight. ABV looks pretty dark but we were leaving the unit on about 11-12, so I'm going to try packing some smaller bowls and leave the heat on low.

One question though, I have a 10 arm saxo bub with a recessed joint that I want to use the cloud with, and it was working really well but it never really milked up, my question is do I need to cover the hole at the bottom of the cloud when it's flipped upside down? I don't think so but I'm just making sure.

Other than that thanks a lot guys all really helpful stuff ^_^

do I need to cover the hole at the bottom of the cloud when it's flipped upside down?
You can't cover it completely. The vape won't work. Covering it partially will increase your vapor/air ratio but that's just a preference move, not a functional one.

Ya don't wanna pack the ELB, just tap the bottom a couple times on your table. Try .15-2g. Usually 10:30 or 12 o'clock is more than adequate. Partially blocking the hole at the bottom of the Cloud will throttle it, I wouldn't do that w/o having had a lot of experience first.

How easy is it to combust by "throttling"?

Define "easy". SM did post that he inadvertently got combustion while throttling, and IIRC he cautions doing so.

Now that we have mastered throttling here, we are in the practice of having someone crouch down and blow into the intake!

Just kidding. :p

I really agree about the advice to use the Cloud as designed and find your desired load size, temperature setting & grind consistency before you decide to go to third base with her (3rd base=finger in the hole). :2c:

Initially, I thought that the ELB was best loosely full up to just below the top (to leave just enough space for he cap).

Recently, I have started to play with 1/4 full or less and have been quite impressed. It is still cloudy at the lowest setting, but can be finished in one big gust.

Well, back home from my mini vacation. Boy did I miss the Cloud after using the WISPR for two days! The devastator is insane. I am going to be so broke, LMFAO :-)

It's interesting how I'm still sorta learning how to use it, last night when I got home, I didn't feel like I did good justice, maybe I was tired. However, this morning, let's just say, I am in the Clouds. LOL :-) I think I need to get breakfast soon. :-)

1/4 - 1/3 full ELBs are where its at IMO

1/2 full is the most ill go, because i like to shake em and i need the room :p

And being able to put a single rip worth (just covering the bottom) is pretty key too

I'm about to hit my second ELB of the day, LMFAO. Been up since 6:30am. Stupid cats.

I wish we had more information about that Devastator. LOL!

With an adapter it looks like you should be able to utilize the Devastator to make your Hydratubes multipurpose...for the folks who like to dab :D

1/2 full is the most ill go . . .

I've also discovered like you and Progress that I like the smaller load better, I'm doing .1-.15. Opening the ELB I see the herb adhering all around the inside wall. I don't know for sure, but seems to imply more turbulence and hence better extraction. So if I want 3/4 of an ELB now I do it in 2 loads. YMMV.
