I dont have much of a choice in what I buy either and if it is sticky/moist when i get it, the bag is left open for 24-48 hours to get it more cap n crunchy. I've always preferred extra dry shit

I also noticed a difference in number of hits per elb depending on herb quality. The real good stuff i have yields 4-5 hits per elb, and the average good stuff gets me around 3.

Has anyone else noticed how long this thread has gotten? Taken with its predecessor, >400 pages. That's more than any other vape on FC except for the MFLB.

Try this: Fill the HydraTube so that the water level just covers the slit. Dry the female joint with a towel. Leave it for 30 min and see if any water is leaking down. If there isn't, you should be good.

When using the Cloud, use it in an upright, vertical postion. Almost 100% of the incidents where water dripped down the HydraTube has been due to people leaning back when using a HydraTube and water will get in the upstem of the perc.

I'll try leaving it for 30 minutes filled up, but honestly if I let anymore water out I'm going to have zero diffusion =/ Also I only use it while its on a table or flat surface I don't even pick up the unit I just lift up the HT, so I don't think that's the issue, but I see exactly where you're coming from. Also I think part of the problem maybe the showerhead design, the trees allow for more tubing away from the entrance point of the female joint. Anyways I'll try leaving it out with water in it and report back on the findings. I'm not trying to come off as an ass or anything I'm just very worried I'll harm the unit in some way or fashion.

I'm beginning to feel the same way, TP. My Evolver Hydracirc is outstanding when it comes to comfortable, tasty rips.

I also love taking long concentrated hits, and taking down an ELB in one or two rips is alright by me! :)

I use my matrix ion daily with my cloud instead of the HT and love it!

Thats sick. I like those recyclers too. Perfect size. But i dont want to spend more then about 300. Those are going for 5. Which is most convenient to hit? Like most comfortable, for those with experience?

$500 for that?! Don't get me wrong it's cool as shit which is why I was about to look it up, but $500 is insane based on how little it is.

So I had a big scare today. My cloud wasn't hitting the same but of course it could all be perception, so I figure something is wrong, then I noticed I filled my HydraTree a little bit higher than normal and heard more water than normal but it wasn't leaking. So I took a rip, check the joint, everything was cool. Checked the glass. Everything cool. So then I say, ok maybe it's a dirty ELB let me grab a brand new one out of the bag. I do, and use it. It's a bit better. As I'm removing it, i heard a cracking. I'm like, oh shit, it's my tube. Oh shit. Oh shit. But as I'm taking it out, I notice I can't get the ELB out.

Look what happened.

This was a completely new ELB. Oh well. LOL. Still love my Cloud.

Edit: Oh man, I just thought about it. If the entire top ripped off, I'd have to send it in for warranty. Thank God it didn't :-). Holy crap! Wow, what a scare! There would be no way for me to remove the ELB from the joint without the top.

Lol, I had the exact same thing happen to me! I nearly ripped it right off. I have now been using the same ELB for several months. Gonna order more soon, but thought there was going to be a sale or something.

lol they sell for far more than that. worked ones will go for 12-1500.

Hell I've seen deppe slides marked at $799.99


Also you don't need to put the hydra tube in a plastic bag to clean it. pour in salt, then pour in iso. put your finger in the joint and the other hand on top and shake for 30 seconds and you are good to go.

Yeah I see them start at 500 and go up from there.

Ok should I go for a Mobius Glassworks - Clear Bubbler with Matrix Perc for 325 or Sovereignty Downgrid Bent Neck Mini Kingstem for the same price to go with my cloud as a distraction from the HT.

Hey Guys. I just pulled the trigger on the new Steele Designs stainless steel and acrylic unit. It's heavy and indestructible so I think it will be perfect for the cloud to sit on top without falling over. It's not fancy but is is darned functional. It's made in the US of a by a young entrepreneur who is a member here. Slide over to his thread to take a look. He is offering us a really good deal too. I can't wait for mine to come.
