i think the proof that there is reduced pressure and hence more vapor extracted is when the bottom intake hole is partially blocked and a reported bigger cloud is created ... there is no way the blockage can cause increased temperature (computer controlled), it simply must be decreasing the pressure between the intake and the ht, and inside the ELB -- hence more vapor extraction.
