Is the one on the right a birch from the holiday sale? I just ordered one, I can't wait to get it. I've been eyeing logs for years now.
...I've also noticed the SS stems I have get stuck in the heating element. I thought there were magnets in there at first. It isn't an issue at all, just a curiosity the physics of which I've been trying to wrap my head around.
That's what mine is from! Also birch.

That Wild Maple can be a tricky one to peg
but I think the issue here is, that was clearly a deceitful picture!

All I know is the website said Birch for the holiday sale.
The ones in this thread picture are Beech.. I htink
Anyone have a recomendation on a vvps on amazon? I have a few bucks left from a gift card I'm trying to use on something.
Beech was a common enough wood a the door shop I used to slave atYeah it can get confusing because we've had both, first Beech and then Birch as either monthly specials or Holidays specials. The one on the left side of the picture a page back is definitely Beech though as @Buildozer noted.![]()
You guys are probably going to Nobby's for the whole weekend, Huh?Just a heads up Dogs, we're going to be traveling Fri-Sun and will be mostly out of touch so be patient and we'll get back to you on Monday when we're back.

Got mine today, I love it. I've been using it all day since it came in haha. I definitely prefer the nylon stems to the glass so far. Unfortunately my dog got a hold of my 18mm NonG maybe an hour after I took it out of the box...hopefully I can fix it with some fine sandpaper.
Interesting. I've been out of town for all but 2 days since I got mine. In my short time with it, I liked the glass better because it was easier for me to see the load. (Distance from heater, color of herb during a session, etc)
Why do you prefer the nylon? I'm not criticizing, just hoping to learn tricks as this is my first time with a log vape.
Thanks!
I like that it holds a little less, and it seems a little easier to get really thick hits than the glass. Since I can kill it in one hit I get greens every time. It helps to conserve bud too.
Yes!!!! Always be very careful - our pets are our most precious soul mates - protect them with all your might!Apologies if this is off-topic because this is dog related but not necessarily underdog related, but I just want to put out a reminder/psa to be really careful with dogs and cannabis. Unlike with humans, it's actually very poisonous to dogs and can be fatal. Make sure your stash isn't in a place where your dog can consume it!
