Reporting back. My UD is my daily driver for flower along side the Haze V3.0. I am proud to say that I now Vape as my primary source of medication. I still may smoke a Joint once a week or so for nostalgia sake (plus it's a different high) but it sure doesn't taste like it used to! I want to get a Joda GonG and j-hook bubbler and an ED's TNT large diameter (enano) stem for her now! My girlfriend only vapes out of this now and occasionally her Pax.
I brought it to my sisters house for Christmas and the whole family loved it! I think I may need to order one for her as a belated gift. Her lungs are bad and this could really help.

I would have to agree with that one.
1st log Vape was a PD
as father's day gift (From wife) when kid was born. My Dog should ship soon and that was a gift from 'some other people' who really made me feel good about christmas this year.
Pretty much my only real gift this year was that. So thanks out to all the wonderful people out there in the world spreading joy for others, let's all toke one for them.

I had a package waiting on me when I got home from work today. *happy dance* Here are my 'out the box' impressions.
Small! It's smaller around than my Solo and shorter too. I said the same thing when I got my others, too. I heated it up and watched the helpful You Tube basics video while I waited (thanks, Underdogette, super informative!). I tried out my direct draw stems, and yep. Every hit tastes good, and the clouds!
I started at 5 pm. It's 5:10 and I'm good- thanks you guys! If you're reading this and dithering, take it from me- it really is just that easy.

Since we all three seem to like a similar vape, can either of you compare the NonG and GonG attachments? I'm trying to decide if I should get the NonG or get the GonG and add the stainless steel tip. I'm leaning towards to the GonG w/ tip because I it would look better aesthetically and might taste better as well.
Also, are you guys using the short or medium stainless steel stems?
Edit: I just realized the glass I want to connect it to is 18mm so I guess that solves that dilemma

Hmm here is all my Stems in review.
Remember I have a standard core if that means anything. I have not played with the stems at all as far as modifying them with tips.
Glass is always going to taste good and if I want glass I use the glass. Yes a bit harder to clean but you get the purity.
In truth the Nylon is nice because it stays dirt free mostly and is easy to get clean when debris builds up. The SS tips I feel I can keep the dog on longer than the glass ends so I use the dog a little different with them. The flavor isn't hurt much, if at all. Just nylon stems hold less material.
Funny how the SS stem, without anything else, has the best flavor of the UD made stems though. With a 10mm attachment I have been paring it with water and letting loose.
Like I said in my last post though my favorite stem is Ed's. The wood is awesome and his SS tip is huge and goes around the UD heater, like the glass. They really should have him make them regularly for the dog as wood stems are perfect with it. Flavor kicks too.
I really like the UD vapor wet, but the SS stem produces the best dry vapor.

I was up against the same question today when ordering a Vape for my sister. Her lungs don't sound good and I want her to vape instead of smoke. so up came the same old question. E-nano or Underdog...
She wanted variable temp and easy to use so I was thinking maybe the nano this time. But then I hit my little walnut puppy and loyalty set in. I ordered her a Holiday vape from UD just now!

I got my dimmer. I have the extension>dimmer>cord into surge protector. Do fewer extensions effect the power at all?

My Underdog arrived yesterday around noon, and I fired it up for the first time later that evening.
I was really surprised by how small it is! It's much shorter than my Air, and only about as big around as a Red Bull can. I really like the woodwork, too. It has a very genuine, pleasant texture. As you said it would, it gives off a pleasant woody scent when heated.
And my god, does this thing conserve herb! I'm enjoying the nylon stem right now, since I like the smaller "pinch hitter" bowls in the stainless steel tips. When the next package arrives, I'll try the ss stem and the ss tip with the glass stem and see how that compares.

By the way, what's the little test tube thing with a soda cap that came in the box? Is that for containing a stem while it's hot, or to keep it from smelling while not in use, or does it have another purpose? I've been using the bag for ABV, as the instructional videos recommended.
I'm not sure if I should buy a dimmer or a tattoo power supply - having a simple dial I can use to keep it "idling" at a low temperature when I'm not using it would be nice.

It's just a freebie. Use it for whatever you want. Some use it for ground herb, keeping a stem safe, fuck, The Kid has his in his car with mentos gum in it.. Never know when you need good breath
Edit-you might wanna keep your abv in a jar for future uses?

Yeah, I'm saving my ABV. I have a container I use for everything from both my Air and my Underdog. The bag makes it easy to clear the stems, since you can just blow into it, but it smells quite a bit. I might just try tapping the stem gently on the side of the plastic container I keep ABV in.

This is the first I've heard of the bag trick and it makes so much more sense than using that fucking tube. I say that fucking tube as blowing ABV into a tube is not the easiest task. Though, I did use my ability or inability to do that as a metric or whether I should wait a bit before consuming a bit more meds.

Thanks, had a log vape in the past so knew what to expect but wow... so much nicer than my PD.
I almost got one when UD was still new, but kept putting off going to the pound to get a new puppy then funds fell really low. I wish I did a long time ago, I bet it would have paid itself off in just lighters.
