Do not soak, dip or submerge the WonGs.
Here's a tip on how to really clean the inside of your custom wooden stems - take a paper towel and twist it into a tight rope, then feed it into the stem through the mouth-tip end while twisting & pushing it through (it should be a snug fit) ...keep twisting and you will route out any unwanted residual matter - works much better & more thoroughly than with Q-Tips. If you want an even cleaner extraction, use a very thin wash cloth or handkerchief and lightly moisten with alcohol - use twist & route method above and you'll have a fresh showroom-new wood stem! And don't forget to use your UnderButter every now & then to reinvigorate the wood;-) The above works wonders for glass stems too! What is the best way of cleaning the inside of a dirty wood stem?
I wouldnt use iso on wood. Even trace
You may safely use ISO as I've indicated above. The small amount used to lightly moisten the cloth will effectively help to remove the accumulation of resin and debri, and instantly evaporate leaving no ISO trace. Use method above with or without ISO for good cleaning - it's up to you. The honey whiskey recommendation is also a good one.
Some woodies are bigger than others.Whats the biggest UD thats been done?
I think it would be sweet to have one around 7" long... But still only around 2-2.5" wide. Call it the "Mastiff"
Since im typing already.... Do the screens come out of the nylon stems for cleaning/replacing? Or can you just soak the entire stem in ISO?
To the dog!I have the same opinion also.
Jack Daniels Honey Whiskey is what I use, the after taste is yummy

Heya Dogs, out of the office today but wanted to answer a few emails/questions first. Hope you all have a great day.
No, unfortunately. Even though it says 17v the Econo-Dogs power supply actually delivers nearly 22v to it during operation so a VVPS for one would need to go to at least 22v, maybe 24v to allow for a bit of margin.
The larger Tekpower one that I've posted about before seems pretty reliable, we used to sell them with UDs at one point years back. There are also some functional tattoo ones that are considerably smaller but I have found them to be less reliable.
Someone already posted it but I'll repeat it anyways. I've used this one and the wireless one with good results. They're only good for lowering temp though, not raising it. http://www.amazon.com/HitLights-Lig...F8&qid=1429637603&sr=8-12&keywords=led+dimmer
It's basically the same as the one on your Nano, just for lower power/voltage use and functions the same. Only thing to keep in mind with the dimmers is that they only lower temps and can't raise them. If your Dog runs hot enough for you straight from the wall-wart and you want to cool it a bit then they're great.
Hi,
Sorry to bump such an old post but since this thread inspired me to buy this dimmer, thought the reply was best suited here. I bought that exact white one that you linked for my Econodog 17v because I was having serious combustion issues. The input fits fine on both the stock power wire and the extension cord but the output won't fit the Econodog's plug :/ . Could I have bought the wrong one? It is just the white dial dimmer, 5v 24v from hitlights you have linked. I don't think I can return it, so if it is the wrong one is there some sort of adapter I can get to make it fit my Econodog?
Thanks! Sorry for first time post and bump once again
Hmm...this would be what I need, but is it safe for my Econodog to have all of these things connected in a row to make the dimmer compatible?@stska, assuming I understand your problem correctly I think this will solve it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00L3L2MS8/ref=yo_ii_img

Hey Stska- I may have just sent you an extra 10ft extension cord for your Econo-Dog, if you're the same person I'm thinking...
I don't believe so, although I did just get a Cherry standard core shipped out to me since this vape was combusting. I must have misread something in this thread, I thought I might still try to make this vape cool down somehow.
