Any pics of the new internals? I'll search all the way back if I have to, but its been a while since I've posted here. My UD is working as good as day one, and its been on 24/7 still. I'm probably going to sell my vapexhale to a friend and pick up another UD after the holidays
These GONG and Direct Draw stems look 100% perfect to me.
EDIT: Are "vegan" cores still a thing? I don't really remember what the differences are with those. Its been a while...no problems to come check the thread for lol.
A question concerning the use of "0 rings" ... since i'm using my UD about 16/7 (on during that time for aromatherapy) and a couple of easy sessions during the day... i'm wondering what type of 0 rings will be ok for full time heat like this? Will the ones for a typical sink faucet maintenance do the job OR is there some high-temp type material i'm looking for?
THX, i hadn't looked at the accessory page up close. I typically grab the SSonSilicone stem but now and again if i want a longer time between refills i will use the GonG but notice additional non-heated air due to the loose fit over the core. Guess i'll add a pack of the core-O-rings with my upcoming order.
Merry Christmas Eve to you all, I figure I would share some more about of the new guy ^_^
I've tried the Nylon stem in the 14mm downstem, works like a charm though I've basically perfected being able to milk through the normal GonG, so I"ll probably just continue to use that to dirty it up.
I have noticed a slight decrease in temp after subsequent hits, but nothing too drastic...was just paying pretty close attention as I was using it. Seemed like just a minute or 2 waiting would get him barking loudly again. Also, the first rip after he's been sitting there for a while is always SO fat delicious.
My roomates a few years back invested in this attachment, but its kind of impractical for their bigger bong, and they don't utlize the crooked one so I figured I would show this poor guy some love. Ugh, now THAT is vaping. There is so much diffusion that my hits are just inherently "slower" and I'm filling everything up....super smooth.
Note me really repping the love for you guys in my lounging pants!
@darkrom I don't know if you meant like the internal internals, or just simply the top of the core, but I took a few shots for you of that...if it wasn't what you were looking for exactly, sorry ;_;
I took a few more pictures of the woodwork, man this thing really just looks so sweet, haven't fell in love like this for a while
Finally guys and girls, what we've all been waiting for, the money shot!
After Underdogette magically solved my customer service woes in a flurry of efficiency and a few nights with my first Underdog vape... I am sold. Above and beyond awesome.
I too am pleasantly surprised at their "Above and beyond" customer service. I placed an order this morning and got the shipping notice before noon. My little UD-related project will be to create an organized space for the half dozen copper aromatherapy bowls and related tinctures.
I wanted to pop in and thank you two again, @underdog and @underdogette for that fantastic and beautiful BuckeyeDog and have a happy and safe Holiday Season, that goes for all you other Dogs out there too!!

Let me start off by saying that I'm very sad, but my Underdog won't turn on after a few months of use. Initially I was having issues, I feel the oven wasn't at a high enough temp, but eventually I started getting used to the Underdog and providing myself with sufficient hits.
My Wall-wart OR my Underdog died last night for my Christmas present, but I was wondering if anyone knew if it's okay to go to Walmart and try buying a new one, if they have them in stock, what do I need to look out for? Or should I just wait to send it in/ get a new wall-wart from UD dave? I tried sending him an Email but what with it being the holidays I'm sure he'll be busy.
It's probably the wallwart that went bad, I would check the specs of the one you have and get one with the same specs. Or order a set of two from Dave, sorry you're having trouble, it'll work out!

Oh man that sucks, sorry to hear it! Like KidFated said it's most likely the wall-wart, it's pretty uncommon comparatively speaking for something to fail in the vape itself.
Any wall-wart that indicates 12v and 750ma of current on the label should suffice to get you running again, you might find one like that at Walmart or RadioShack, etc.
Send a message directly to Underdogette and we'll help make sure things get straightened out.
Happy Holidays everyone! Hope you're all enjoying yourselves.

You're more likely to find AC to DC but AC to AC will work as well.. just as long as it's 12v @ 750ma+
Not to go off topic, but I used to work security at an industrial park, and the security company I worked for got special contracts the 4 years I worked there to have someone stay at Walmart over the holidays because everyone assumes they're open, but they're actually closed. Every Walmart within 20 miles of me is closed today, so maybe give them a call before you head out.
This Lost Dog is fitting right in. It is currently performing the most important task in my home - making the place smell more like cinnamon, and less like cat.
