I just got a dog yesterday but know I'll be using it for a while. Would you guys recommend buying a VVPS now for the long run? Is it one of those things were every log user at some point buys?
I've been a UD guy for over a year and I've never had desire to get a VVPS. Honestly, it depends on your needs. From what I gather from your previous posts though, you just need to work on technique. Log vapes have a bit of a learning curve as far as stem loading and draw technique. The best advice I can give is to try everything you can think of. Load the stem as much and as little, pack it as tight and as loose as possible, draw quickly and slowly. Basically, everyone is different and there's no "wrong" way to use a UD. You just need to find what works for you and that only comes with experience through trial-and-error. I've combusted using a Dog and I've left a stem green. It just takes a bit of practice to get where you want to be. Keep vaping and I'm sure you'll be more than happy with the results.
Also, don't be shy to give those silicone stems a try. I've been using the silicone tube + screen and its always been great.
