I managed to read 30 pages so far and I plan to read it all before I pull the trigger. I did a lot of research for days and for my needs, I'm leaning towards UD for my first vaping experience. I've heard too many good things about it and I'm a noob so this will work perfect. There's so many nice ones though. Do I have to just pick one? grrrrrr!

Pick one (or more), order it now and use it while you read the rest of the thread! It will make it that much more of a bonding experience with this community. You can't go wrong with these things and Dave is truly a stand up guy. Regardless of when you get it, you will be glad you did. Best of luck choosing!
The UD is a great choice for a new vaporist - little to no learning curve and super simplistic, plus coming from combustion the UD gives ass kicking clouds - that will make the transition a little easier IMO. Good luck with your choice - underdog will take care of you!
... which stem is better? Glass or Sillicon?
Depends on what you're using it for, and everyone's got their preferences. I like the thick silicone stem for direct draws, and the glass stem + thin silicone for vaporbonging (it connects easily to my bubbler). There's a lot of different ways to use it!
i would not trade my dog for anything 3 reasons
1 - customer service
2 - reliability
3 - ease of use / lack of maintenance
I'm on page 40 and just found out you made a few with KOA. I live in Hawaii and that would make it even more personal. I love KOA woods. Makes me happy just looking at the pictures of those UD made with KOA. COCOBOLO would be my next favorite on your website. Is that cocobolo with the newer improved core?
That's Dave's wood stem mated with my HydraCirc. Oh, and that was my 4th rip out of about .06g.
I just press straight down with a razor blade and get clean cuts every time.Hey Dave (or anyone who might know):
I'm having some troubles. What's the easiest way to cut the thin silicone tubing evenly? Thanks in advance guys.
Ah OK, I will have to try that.. I was envisioning a dowel to keep it rigid while cutting, but that's an even easier solution! Thanks!
