Hey guys,
My review unit came in today as well, had to leave work to meet the ups guy to sign (that's the worst thing about ups to me, the need to be in person...). Big thanks to Mike for helping us gunea pig this guy on here.
Sizewise
@llamaman001 , for starters the mini is shorter than the T1 by a cap or so, my big battery is charging now so I haven't compared any other sizes yet (the big battery+short tube will likely be my go to, so I will test that next).
@PPN it is not fully charged, but the small battery takes less than an hour.
I also didn't have the 1.0, but I can already see it functions more simply (with accurate instructions!). The basic set up seems to be, tap to turn on red light and it will heat up to 390 green in 2 minutes give or take. Then too take bigger hits at 400 or higher, you hold button for 20-30sec and it will blink green (not sure of that means it hit 400 or 420, it does keep blinking every 20-30sec if you keep holding it, so not quite sure exactly how precise temp raising works). So its a simple 390F vape like the FlowerMate in a way, but it has the ability to kick up the temp for heavier hits when you need them.
I've been running burn offs as I write this, and there is definitely a bad smell, but it seems to be driven by the mouthpiece rubber (this is medical grade though right? Do I need to do some kind of soak like the FM needs? Not sure exactly how to remove the spring/screen to do so, kinda afraid to pull it out). Looks like the auto shut off is around 20min I think (didn't time this one) and the unit does get kinda warm, the oven tube is hot though so can't really hold it there.
So far it feels like a really solid portable, can't help thinking of it as like a conduction Thermovape... I'll post more as I experience it
EDIT: auto shutoff may be related to it being idle or not, second session seemed shorter... will have to see. Battery died on the third session, so the little battery only gets 35-45 minutes (maybe more if you don't raise the temp at all, again will have to test).
Was able to get the spring/screen out by getting my nail inbetween the screen and the rubber without pulling the spring, its a hollow steel tube with a seven-hole hexagon for the screen right where the spring meets it. I'm putting the mouthpiece in boiling water now...
