I'm gonna let a few seasons accumulate and then binge them. Just in case we're on the timeline where the Studio execs win. We'll look back at Milf Manor as high art when the rest of our content looks and sounds exactly like this:

I wonder if AI will unionize when it takes over.

There's hardly anything worth watching on TV anymore.
AI will make it better when it emulates all art/music/theater.
Then we can have REAL entertainment rather than all these
phony people who are actors/artists/musicians who we now have.

The most annoying thing is they both twist themselves into pretzels trying to explain how what they're doing isn't technically scabbing. I would much rather they just come out and say "Look at me, I'm a big 'ol scab! Call me Scabby the Rat!"

What they're doing is giving the studios an excuse to not negotiate in good faith. There's no good way to put lipstick on this particular pig.

At least studios are supposedly getting back to the table again next week, hopefully more respectfully... I get that they are trying to put their crew back to work because they are suffering too but it is the people at the top that are fucking everyone over as always

I don't know much about Drew Barrymore, but Bill Maher is a centimillionaire. He could cover his entire production team's salaries during the strike and it would be like me buying them pizza. Conan O'brien did this during the '07 strike.

Or, he could do charity shows to support them, like his peers are...

Also, the non-writing crew on these shows are getting screwed too by the same studios the WGA and SAG are fighting. This is always how it goes with scabbing. You're trading short term gain for long term pain.
