Tornado by Vestratto

I personally am a huge non believer in ball-filled stems. Reduces airflow and an absolute pain to clean.

Cools well though, can’t deny it

A regular J hook cools more than adequately for the tornado

I agree. There’s a version without balls, though. Anyway, I’d rather just wait for the stem adapter instead of buying this expensive pipe.

I use the poorman pipe version😂 (with hand made wood adapter to fit the 14mm wpa) and i love it with the 'Nado. (+spiked stem, mp simrell) :

Yeah these things target people who have never had to clean things like that. I think the same for most large complex bongs.

This CH pipe is the worst accessory I've ever seen.

Especially when for just a bit more you can snag a one of a kind, hand crafted piece that functions better…

You are in for a treat! I have been microdosing with it lately and it’s amazing how much steam you can get with just a pinch of flower. Looks like maybe a quarter of that big bowl filled at most. I just use the wand free hand, no adapter of any kind. I see where others set it to max but I have settled on 575. Roughly 20 seconds or so and then you are in milk country. It has only timed out once out of maybe 12 to 15 bowls and it still clicked right as it timed out. Flavor is a little muted thru water but still enough for tasty hits thru water.
This is very good to hear! I wish I had a shipping notification so I'd have a date to look forward to. 😕
So what's the concensus on the wand then? Some users reported getting error messages. Are we not lead to believe it might be cooking the internals like it was doing with the forge?
I haven't seen reports so far of any Wand damage so that's good news. Perhaps the Error01 is the Wand's way of protecting itself from feedback current?

Mine arrived and i've been able to try it out this afternoon with 4 (not so full) bowls. Haven't tried the Anvil so this is really new. Early, initial impression is Dam .. lives up to the hype mentioned here (of course):rockon:Nice to add something new that doesn't have balls either! Familiar strains on hand have a great taste and effect afterwards. Still have the dialing in to do but it's fairly forgiving so far. First run, single flame, heated to the click and thought I had combusted due to the crackle and vapor I could see. Much more cautious on the 2nd and I didn't get it hot enough after first pull. Took the flame right back to it to get it going good. Tried a dual flame last couple for some pretty good roasts. This gonna be fun

Couple questions: Does the screen come out? And can the herb chamber be submerged/soaked with the disc(s)?

In my expert opinion, I think the problem with iso soaking the clickers is that the iso can stay between the discs, and ignite when exposed to flame. After I iso soak an oven, I get it very hot with a heat gun which should evaporate off the iso. I will then assemble it and heat it to clicking with my normal heat source.

I'm having a great evening with my Tornado, Jerry, and Troy. I managed to make my Tornado a bit more portable with the help of a J-Hook, and it's working great! :
Have you tried filling the bowl when on a j-hook? This is how I would be using it. I'm worried the sheer vapour density of a 0.25g bowl might need more cooling.

Any updates from Vestratto about the stem/adapter system?

Now this thing is staying in stock more consistently its getting harder to keep away..
I'm sure Vestratto and third-party solutions are on the way.
In the meantime, I'm sure you could have a configuration that would do for dry use (which I do 100% of the time).

I love my black set:

Hi guys, does anyone have a Scruffywoofers Fusion 2.0 cooling stand they could test the tornado in?
