Definitely has power calibrated differently. John mentioned that in his Instagram post when he said "we redid the coil output calibration to more accurately reflect delivered power to the load"......."These improvements are a key part of our desire to “move beyond the click” enabling both dry herb cold-start bowls and high temperature dab applications". There was a change to battery management also as John stated "but we now control and monitor what we draw from the battery where we previously let the battery manage that regulation".

I agree with the over 5000j. Mid 5000 at least when not using Cascade mode. I think the position of the Tornado in the Forge is also at least as important. Seems to me the deeper it's inserted equals more conduction.

At the moment a 1hitter RDL/RTL is 5500j/85% and wagon wheel stopper set high.
Waiting ro mine in the mail, what is cascade mode.
Does it come with a manual, i don't see one on vestrattos website

Cascade mode automatically calculates power needed to get similar roast during a back to back bowl, so it accounts for stored heat in the vape when you reinsert it.

No, it does not come with a manual, although there is a manual for the V1, but it’s outdated and was created when cascade mode wasn’t a thing, so it doesn’t mention it.

So I used the wand on one of my other fav vapes and I thought I went long. No clicker. Vapour was thick and heavy.

I then used the wand on the nado for the 1st time. I got the er 1 then just continued to heat. Got a click and fired away.

Beautiful thick tastey vapour. Got a lot of pulls. More than I needed.

I then compared the avb of the 2 bowls and the nado was lighter with a bit of green. No way I needed another heating. Also there was a bit less.

But what does this mean? The avb was lighter, there was less of it and I got more hits and thicker vapour!? Is the Nado that much more efficient?
