Tornado by Vestratto

I received my Tornado yesterday.
First use with a torch. I'm a real noob in this style of use, and I'm not really a fan of it until now.
I have a store that sells vaping equipment 10 minutes from my house, and I'm going to go there tomorrow and buy either a Wand or the Flare.
Which one will be best suited with the Tornado please?
I don't own a Flare and can't recall seeing people use it in this thread but hey, it's a weed forum and you might forget things when you're tripping balls so doesn't mean it didn't happen. 😉 I have a Wand and it's great with the Tornado, however there is some variation in the Wand (firmware, glass size) over the years so for a few there have been issues but I believe it's rare? Quite a few in here are Wand users.
After a few sessions with the Tornado, I can already say that this thing is totally incredible!
It's literally more powerful than any ballvape I've tried so far. A session with the Tornado is like a dab, but directly with delicious buds!
Yeah it's pretty great. I just tried something totally new with the Wand. Instead of my routine of counting flashes for repeatable rips, I decided to freeball it completely. Since I'm using it on a Dani stem, I just started heating it with the Wand while puffing on it like a cigar until I felt the vapor get really thick and then I'd stop.

This seemed to work really well and I never even heard a click but I got plenty of good tasty draws. After 2-3 pretty big clouds I checked and the buds were still only lightly toasted! Maybe no more counting for me. I might like this method more.

Edit: Found some ppl discussing the Flare https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/tornado-by-vestratto.55195/post-1829574 . You can keyword search the thread too.

The Wand. I have two, bought a couple years apart and my Tornado fits both the same.

I use a lid from a silicone dab jar provided with my TA3 and have it inserted in bottom of Wand as a stopper. I have been using it pretty exclusively to heat my Tornado since I got it middle of last September. It's worked perfectly and never thrown an error on the Wand.

I also have a Flare...Wand works better and much quicker heat time.

Is anyone using the new dynavap adapter to heat the tornado? I heard some people were able to do that, I guess I need to trim the sides of the adapter?

I have checked in on the site a few times this morning. It has been the same for several days now as every item is sold out. I just figured they closed shop for a few days for holidays and such.

Underrated method for all of the butane hot stick vapes. All indicators are arbitrary, and are just a guide imo. It doesn't get more direct than using the vapour as a guide.

I’m so glad they can continue selling Tornados while flatly ignoring all of us affected by their product failures. Fucking infuriating. If Vestratto had ANY integrity, they would prorate them and buy them back. Some people don’t have much and spent what little disposable income they had on their disaster product. I hope their reputation gets absolutely buried for treating customers this way. “Buyer beware” is putting it lightly. They couldn’t care less.

What are the defects again? Happy user from the pre-order days. I have no complaints.

I don't have any issues. What kind of problems are you having? How is yours defective?

I wonder what all these product failures are. I have zero problems with the device, it works as expected and as advertised (setting aside the atomiser marketing hyperbole). Probably one of the best I have from a pure vapour perspective, but I reach most for the Tempest just due to convenience.

I had only one click.

That makes two of us. How many do you want / need, or perhaps how many were you promised. Colour me confused.
We were promised 2. When I got my new oven I went from having 3 bowls which were underdone amongst dozens of combustion events, to dozens of perfect roasts in a row. It was also a big enough issue for vestratto to replace without further inquiry.

From what I see..the satisfied customers far outnumber the Unhappy one..and I must admit that this is the only negative review that I have yet seen about this device....im intrigued.

I mean, I've dropped mine earlier in the thread. But I suspect the comment above is in reference to the forge disaster. Which I can relate to, I'm pretty annoyed about being sent an incomplete tornado, then being left blowing in the wind for a month before being told it was also defective. But it's not the first time something like that's happened and it won't be the last. I'm fucking livid about being repeatedly lied to though. I understand this space has pretty shitty CS at times and delays happen (I've paid for a nomad to get made "eventually"), but none of the other makers in this space have lied to me like vestratto have.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. This is my first Vestratto product and so far I'm satisfied but I understand not everyone gets the same experience.

Never had an issue with any products from them. They all work as advertised as well as the new Tornado. They are all perfect!!!!

I don't remember reading if the o-rings are ISO safe so I've been getting by using ISO soaked pipe cleaners.
Ill toss an email to them and find out. I love using my ultrasonic cleaner. Is the o-rings the only issue? I know some click disc need to be dried off to prevent rusting? I usually ultrasonic then use a hair dryer.
