I vape all day long, from about 6 a.m. until I fall over at around 9 or 10 in the evening. (Hey, I'm old now or I least I can say I am - going on 72.)
My first reaction is to agree with the folks saying that vaping bud and smoking it, imo, are not really compatible activities. If the impetus is not there to set the combustion aside (fuck it!), you can't expect to experience the flavor profiles nor the effect profiles vaping offers. It can take at least a couple of weeks to make the transition, but it is true that soon the taste of smoking a joint will become actually unpleasant. I smoked cigarettes and joints for over 40 years, btw. I had stopped the cigs prior to learning about vaping bud, after a long bout with pneumonia.
The enjoyment I get from vaping flower completely outweighs any loss or longing for the joint.
I definitely want to have more than one vape around, to keep things interesting, and different vapes deliver at different levels -- some will hit stronger than others for sure, while some will be all about flavor and a delightful "open" high that only hits you harder later, etc. etc. etc.
Each individual will learn their own best way(s) to do it.
Sorry to say I haven't tried TM, though it will likely be me "next". This year alone I've come into a MiniVap and Bowle and both (convection) totally excel at delivering flavor and any size hit you could want. But still we find lots of chances to use the Mighty or a Grasshopper or a Splinter, even the V3Pro.
I guess I'm suggesting that you look at it as building a nice collection or arsenal -- over a period of time., well at least 2 or 3!
Convecton vapes in general will suit your desire for on-demand kinda hits, vapes you can come back to finish s a bowl, etc. Conduction vapes, in general, should be finished in one sitting.
Consider MiniVap. You load it, let it warm up a few minutes, then you can take a hit or two and wait a few min before the next Iif you want. Lots of tasty clouds for a pretty long stretch unlike a Mighty that you'll hit every minute or so through the 6 to 12 hits or whatever then that ride is over.
Don't go too cheap. But V3 Pro might be a good convection starter vape at reasonable price.
You've been getting some great advice here, use it.

I just noticed over in TM you've said your decision is made.
Great!
Enjoy the TM!
