Tinymight or GrassHopper IO

If you had to choose. Which one would it be:

1) Barely used Tinymight? He bought it around the New Year. It comes with some extras, long stem, CU. A Big BUT is: no warranty.

I asked them if warranties were transferable I didn't get an answer yet. I heard he was a nice Guy over at TinyMight but I'd just like assurance it transfers.

Is the tinymight like a Splinter or Si? Can it combust?

B) Hopper IO? I have a Ti GH. I bought it used. I got it After It was returned from RMA last Summer. With Not a pr...I don't wanna jynx myself. I was gonna wait until 420 and see if they have a sale.

3rd) What other Vape should I look into to get for/by 420? I already own the hybrid and Mighty. VAS is strong in this one.

Any insights would be awesome. I'd like to hear your reasons as well, Please

Thank you very much

When I sold my TM, buyer and me were asking about warranty. Both got the response all is fine, warranty will be transfered with the device. But it would be nice, if I would give the buyer my login credentials for the TM site, so this account linked to the sold TM could also be transferred to the new owner.

I would try to grab a P80 or TETRAx :)

I won't see any of them for awhile. I got lucky with this one

Tinymight all day and twice on Sunday.

I don't see why anyone would fuck with Grasshoppers when the Tinymight is cool enough without water and doesn't have the miserable track record. I can't even get the grasshopper website to load on either browser on my phone. If the IO is going to address the defects and epic RMA periods of the original Grasshopper then you might give it a year to see the landscape. This was my approach with Ghost when they started clearing out MV1s last year and now they've gone under.

And yeah, everyone loves a Tinymight and everyone loves a Tetra P80 but I'll add my usual recommendation that you come out to play with a Splinter, Splinter Z, or Milaana for 420 this year. Ryan has already promised some sales and if you posit a $250us budget you can get two Splinter Zs with mods and cooling stems for less than one Tinymight, Tetra, or Grasshopper. Heck, you could probably score both a Splinter Z with mod and a Milaana 3 for $250 depending on the 420 discount.

For me this is the cool thing about RBT going through the growing pains of spinning up Chinese manufacturing: Ryan can have shit in stock, start with lower prices from not hand assembling each unit, and splash around with dreamy discounts of 30% or more that you'll literally never see from the competition unless you count stuff like Ghost going out of business.

Fanboy banter aside, it's such a safe bet to just grab that secondhand Tinymight. If you don't want it at any point the folks here or on reddit will happily pay whatever you paid to take it off your hands and skip the two month wait.

I certainly do not NEED another Splinter so I'm hoping RBT doesn't offer any 420 deals.:)

I ended up trading/selling my splinter. Didn't care for the whole box mod scene. I had Splinters and a Si. Sold them all

When I sold my TM...

I have been following FC's Tinymight thread & am very curious why you would sell such a highly talked about flower vape with its lengthy wait times? Although overpriced imho, it seems a potentially excellent OTG/outdoors device bc of its fast extraction & uncomplicated design.
Thank you for your response.

I've changed my mind on TM. All the gleaning I've done on TM wanting to pull the plug on a purchase only to realize what I've been seeing for a while now.

I have a sneaking suspicion that what I've been seeing as PTFE -below- the heater is actually within the heater coil. For me, if there is even a chance that this is the case, I'm out. I don't want PTFE in the hottest part of my vape. PTFE is tasteless.

I wrote it in the TM thread :)

Nothing really negative about the TM, there's simply been no love between us. Caught myself grabbing the TM less and less. For any occasion I had another vape suiting my needs better.

And I had to pay some bills. So I had to sell the vapes that would be sold fast with few losses. TM and FlowerPot gone first :(

I cannot find an image of the TM's coil itself on the TM thread. Do you have a post number that might show what your discussing? I understand that you are not allowed to discuss issues like this on the TM device thread, but if true, it is disturbing, if not disqualifying. Maybe you can post this info on the Medical Discussion subforum.
Thank you.

I'd so love to see you stay away from remote analyzing. If you have a concern, there are ways to research them for example by asking the (very open minded and friendly) maker of the TM about them. The half baked bits and pieces you throw around about material safety are not very helpful.
