i just realized that my avatar slightly resembles a winged razor will errl dripping from it
Looks more like a windshield wiper to me. With one of those fancy wing things to keep it down tight and wiping well at speeds in excess of 125 mph......

Just ordered the LV dart, decided to just use the 10% coupon, made the shipping seem more reasonable. Looking forward to dabbing the dart.

ok so i just tested a few things and it seems my Rev is the problem. i put an Omi cart on the same device (detonator / rough stack maxi) and it fires up in about a half a second. i also put the Rev on my DA pen just to see if it would power up at all and nothing. i know the 6V Rev isnt designed to be used on a 3.7V pen, but it should still get at least pink or start to warm up. so at 7.4V nothing... and at 3.7V nothing.
all my other carts work on both devices except the Rev. dammit! i havent even gotten to use this thing. i was so stoked to get those giant errl rips ive been seeing/reading about.
hey TV any chance i can exchange it for a dart model...?

Ok, I'm starting to feel a little better about making videos.. in the past I've been shy about them, but after I badmouthed thermovape and they STILL went the extra mile to make me happy, I figured this was the least I could do for them! Besides, my mug is plastered all over this site, so whatever...

Great video Kertong! The Dart looks like it makes loading your oils easier than any other portable, and the clouds are impressive.
The all stainless steel setup you have with the Omicron bottom and the drip tip on top is very sleek looking, too.

Kertong: That is from a warm start up if I am correct but how long does it take the dart to work from a cold start? BTW nice music and video and cool vapor tricks, I usu. just inhale but imma try out some rings, waterfall/french inhale, and some snap inhales. Seems like you got them down pretty well.

Yup, good eye, the unit had been sitting for about 3 or 4 minutes from the last session I had. So, it isn't "hot" but it is definitely warm. From a completely cold start, with the 7 second timer kicking in, I'd say about 30-45 seconds of priming gets it *really* nice and hot for the fullest clouds. Without the 7 second timer, I suspect you could just blast the thing for about 20-25 seconds and it'd get super hot. And this is on the LV model, I'm sure the higher powered units can scorch the standard resistance model in much less time.
As for the vapor tricks, thanks - it's interesting because I came upon the whole "snap inhale" thing purely on my own, then realized it had a name and everyone was already doing it, haha. I only did this because of habit from my smoking days, where i would keep the smoke from a j in my mouth first to cool it down before inhaling. Once inhaled, I want to absorb as *much* as possible and blow out the thinnest smoke possible, so I like to peek at the smoke/vapor thickness before it goes down for lung absorption. Good way to puff it out and let a cloud trail out, then inhale... that way you get a peek of the unmolested smoke/vapor thickness before it goes down the hatch for good!
Oh, and pretty much everything on the dabber looks to be solid metal capable of really, really high heat, except for a little rubber ring to seal the end into the body. I wouldn't heat it directly, but it does get hot just sitting in there, hot enough that the goods can stay on it melty.
What I do, thanks to a tip from tim@tv, is to prime and hold the dart heating in my left hand, while loading the dabber with the right. By the time the dabber goes in, the temps in there are hot enough that the stuff melts right off and hits the element in <10 seconds. Unlike an omi cart where it is harmful to the element to heat it dry, you can just heat this thing to high heaven I believe. The unit will get too hot to hold before you come close to damaging anything in the dart, if I understand correctly. But yeah, prime the hell out of it, empty or not, and get it super hot - then when the dabber goes in, it takes only a second or two to slide right off - you can hear the goo sizzle when it drops and hits the hot plate. Instant ti nail! The flavor is pretty much just like a nail hit. Fantastic.
Man, so I'm getting the hang of this thing now, and I had initially planned on just using it at nighttime for a knockout hit or something, while sipping on the omicron throughout the day for moderate relief. But this thing, (to be fair, at the cost of eating more oil), gets me WAY more medicated, that I just take 2-3 dabs, and just sit out and do other things for 2-3 hours, rather than do my activities with the omicron in hand, sipping as I go. The flavor is incredible too since you only load the fresh concentrate that you'll be immediately consuming, no oil sitting int here heating and reheating. I'm starting to think I'll be using the omi carts for long road trips, etc, but man, for at home medicating, this dart is fucking fantastic.

@2clicker: i got a few more great pulls after that before it started thinning slowly, probably could've gotten a few more huge clouds!
So I realized, just after shooting this video, I did about 5-6 more pulls and bam, the omicron battery ran out. so uh... it might've not even been performing at full capacity! I replaced it with my atmosRAW battery and man, does it ever go. Dabbed some purple erkle glass on there (reclaimed from a dead omicron cart), and it still tasted great and kept pushing out huge cloud after huge cloud.

I mostly have qwiso oil right now, and just a bit of some bho left. I think I will break it in w/ the last of my bho first, to have the most pleasant experience. I wish we had access to concentrates in OR the same way you guys do in Cali. Of course I have only been here a short while, and have not explored all my medical options yet, but I usually take care of my own, so I don't have to go looking. Making bho sketches me out a little, so I don't do it very often. I'll be stalking the mailman this week...

cannabis enthusiasts in general seem to be kind people. Last week out of boredom I was scouring craigslist for vapes, and I saw somebody looking for an omicron charger and case. I had a spare of each so I offered it to him at no charge. Two young kids show up, big smiles, saying i'm a nice guy, shaking my hand, etc... then gives me about 2 grams of some *really* sticky purple out of the blue. Good kids.

Great news, I'm sure you'll like it even with low grade hashes to feed it, but the better oils are a treat for sure. May I suggest a different strategy on your attack? Learn the machine with the QISO. Get to understand it so you can control it well, get big hits when you want them on demand. Then switch over and enjoy the good stuff under better conditions. You only get one chance, make it a good one. If you're concerned about taste, remember this unit is designed to be boiled squeaky clean if you wish. Just be sure it's good and dry before you put more oil back in. I use the toaster oven at 200 F for 20 minutes or so. You can give it a 'test listen', if there's a lot of water left it sizzles when you power up.
Let's hope the worm turns for you and supply improves. It really does make sense from a medical point of view I think. If we can only get the Feds to find something better to do than bust dispensaries. We 'lost' another high profile one in Oakland last week.....

I realize I was slightly overmedicated there and never finished my thought (I blame the Rev Dart LV). I was going to follow up with how karma is a strong force in the cannabis community - right after those kids took the omicron charger and case, was when AtmosRawRetailer saw my busted 1 day old heating chamber, and offered to send me a brand new one (a $70 value) in the mail, free of charge.
Sorry 'bout that, haha. But yeah, that's what I initially meant to say. What goes around comes around in this community and so far, I only see good things flying back and forth..

should i just skip the rev and go straight to the dart? i already have omi to 510 adapters from delta so i shouldn't need an adapter, right? i have both omi's and a persei, if it works that well on the omi, i'm hoping it does at least that well on Persei. was tryin' to put of the rev for another month, but this is screamin' , buy me! looks like they dropped the LAYGO cart b4 delta could.

@bob: YES! I actually bought the rev with window initially because i loved the idea of loading throught he window - but on my first attempt it started gumming up and spreading concentrate all over itself. the dart eliminates pretty much all of that - swab and dab,drop it in, and you're good to go! This really is a portable, battery powered nail if you ask me.

These carts should last indefinitely, imo. You boil the shit out of it in water to clean it, and reuse.
But yes, these are worth EVERY PENNY and then some. Run, don't walk!! Especially if you already have a 510 batt, these guys are <$60!! For a cart you can reuse infinitely, tastes amazing, gets hot as hell fast... and yeah, can't wait to see thc's version of the load-as-you-go nail cart.
