My LV Dart showed up a few days ago and I must say this thing takes me to a whole new level. I have some wax, Strawberry cough + Pineapple Express that should come with a warning label. WOW! The taste is still a little off, but it is getting much better.
How long have you had it and what battery are you running it on/what power/voltage?
Mine is consistently getting better with every hour of use.

My threads to my heavy hitter made by Vape-Pen don't let the LV screw in ALL the way, is that okay? Am I losing volts or anything like that? The ceramic plate glows bright reddish orange & the brass contact on the LV is definitely touching the "atomizer?" On my heavy hitter

I've had it three days. I am using a 17670 3.7v. It just keeps getting better. Very clean taste now.
I need to put this away now. I have been slammed all day!

Yes. I use mine as long as they perform. Why wash out good oil? They end up stained if you enjoy them enough. When rebuilt they get flamed almost as white as new, but stain again in due time. It does not effect performance.

They can deal with it fine. They tend to return to normal, so are stiff getting stuff in and out a bit after boiling sometimes. No big deal, IMO.

Look at what happened to my dart when I torched it, the heat did melt and flake the rim a bit, but it also had the unintended side effect of making it look slightly awesome:

IMO that's not a smart thing to do. Did the maker recommend it?
That's not a Cera. The tube is not Stainless Steel (Nickle plated brass) and the unit is mot "all metal and ceramic", there's a PTFE insulator in the base that won't take the heat.
Absent specific advice from TV, I recommend against it.

I bought the revolution about 2 months ago and everything went great. I cleaned it the 20/20/20 after about 2 weeks of use and it came out just like new. However the vapor started to taste metallic, so i figured it was just time for another iso wash. The metallic taste has not gone away. What is strange is the first taste from a fresh dab taste great, but any after that taste off. I was wondering if this is normal? Is this metallic tasting vapor harmful? Thank you in advance.

How many times did you load it before washing it? Every time you wash it, it may take several loads before you remove that taste. After a cleaning, it usually takes me anywhere from 3-5 loads before the taste goes away depending on how much you load each time. With the first load the taste is more prevalent then slowly goes away. You may want to try loading it a few more times before you clean it again to see if that helps. After each wash, you are essentially starting from scratch again when it comes to getting rid of that taste you describe. Also, running it dry or nearly dry will also give you that taste.

There's your problem, you're running dry. Load .15 to .20, melt it in well, expect a few hits. As soon as it thins, even a little bit, add .05 to .10 (never more). From clean you want to stay above .150 typically, consider that your base. This should bring the temperature down and bring back the good vapor.

What's the max load for the DART (with Ultra) ? Would .2 be too much?

What kind of mAh do you see on such a battery?
