Alright, i made a stink about power consumption earlier in this thread, and in a couple emails w/Tim.
Tim/thermovape team, I'm SORRY, I jumped the gun, and it was completely wrong. I feel terrible.
I thought 2 18350's would = 1 18650, i was wrong. Last night I got 6 2/3 loads down on 1 AW IMR 18650 2000mah, that's over 3 times as much as the 18350's I tested with before. I wrote the EVO off as a nice little toy that will suck your juice before you get off...once again, I was Wrong! Honestly, I feel terrible, if anyone read my concerns about power, and didn't purchase it because, I apologize, with proper juice(tim tested w/18650) one can achieve or get at least close to "50 pulls". I, in the future, will be more frugal with my words, and spend more time testing all these fun new vapes(FC anonymous anyone?)before I come to my conclusions and share them. I do still stand behind my thoughts that it needs a top of the line 3.7 mod, whether its a TV/persei/ or a couple high quality ecig mods, but that about all the merit ill claim from my posts early on in this thread. I can't wait to see what you and the competition push each other to do(competition is healthy). I hope there is a LV T1(510) on the horizon.
Once again, with all sincerity, I'm sorry Tim, I feel like a smuck, this is a great product.
Edit: to anyone that has a problem with the heat transfer, I stacked 3 thread adapters together(about 1" total) and have had a lot less heat transfer to the power unit.

Did not understand one thing Havealight, you used the 18650 2000mah in an LV EVO, but the batteries they use are the 17670. So, from my understanding, you used a Persei with the EVO on top, is that it?

Correct, I'm using a lv EVO on a 18650 power supply(persei), and I had called BS to "50 pulls" and now feel bad about it. I've heard wind of a TV 18650 power supply in the works. Both are/will be high quality power units...which is needed for these high powered flower carts.

Another note, these AW IMR's really supply this well.

Understood, 'guy' is a generic term in this case. The point is I don't agree the device is "Not at all practical", the original statement. I've found it to be quite practical with driving DART or Revolution after Tim suggested I try it. I too had dismissed the idea without trying it and should not have. It turns out to be good for 30 or so solid hits from DART which can be a few days for me.

I strongly suspect anyone else trying this set up would find it useful (except guys like DubC vaping up .4 grams in a session who are in a whole other class I think). I therefore concluded that anyone saying it was not useful had never tried. I've tried it, IMO his has merit for some.

I don't use mine much, but it does work, and there are places where it makes the best choice IMO and should be considered for those in that market.

I was saying FOR MY NEEDS AT THIS TIME it was not practical for me to make the purchase after loading myself down w/ other TV products. But at this point its moot, because TV is hooking me up. Practical or not, I'm getting an ultralight sent to me because I wanted one and TV is cool like that. It just feels like you got stuck on that one word, and keep missing what I was attempting to say around it. I am sure the ultralight is very practical to use, in the right situations. You don't have to defend the ultralight. I'm sure I will find it quite useful once it's here and I can use it. My original comment was not meant the way you interpreted it.

Ya, I couldn't resist the mother's day 25%, I placed a last minute order last night, got some orings, evo interface(it gets hot!), and a dart Shipped this mornin. Fun stuff. I also scored a 10 pack of the Tenergy's the standard thermovape uses for $30something shipped off amazon.

Can you explain your setup? That is amazing. I get ONE load per T1 bowl. Is this some setup I can convert my T1 to or will it not work with that battery?

I just scoop some up from the grinder with the Evo chamber, allow it to loosely fill the chamber, or if I can't do it that way, I just take a pinch at a time and toss it in there, until it gets full.

Yeah, I did email, and Jennifer said the order couldn't be altered, but she did create a 25% off coupon that I can use for a future purchase. Wish I could have used it on this, would have amounted to about another $25 off, but ah well. Maybe something else will come along from them that I just can't live without. Hell, if I wouldn't have posted anything here, I probably never would have known about it anyway. For some reason, that just doesn't make me feel a whole lot better, though. lol

extra DART, mouthpiece, etc. at that discount won't hurt ya much . make a slow and careful wishlist when looking to make your next dollar drop and i'm sure ya can find enough stuff to make ur $25 "loss" up.

Indeed! An extra dart may be the way to go. I bought the low voltage Evo, and I don't think Thermovape sells the extra batts for that one, do they? That would be the way to go if they did. And by the way, I do appreciate Jennifer and Co. giving me that coupon for future use. They certainly did not have to do that, and it just goes to show what I suspected already: great customer service.

Speaking of batteries, if Thermovape does not sell the batts for the LV Evo, where should I get them. I want the best batts I can get.
