Alright, here is my take one the LV, no candy coated bs here. My first couple wacks at ended up in frustration, 18650 TF(2300mah) was the culprit along with a virgin TV product owner. I refined my draw tech, as I do w/every new vape, got a battery spacer so i could run my 18350 AW IMR's, and got down to testing...
I got it going good w/18350 IMR's, but on 2 separate tests in a row(well after charging) I got 4.25 loads w/.4g's meds vaped, 22 pulls(moderate clouds, i fit .1 or less in each load)on TWO IMR AW 18350's. It did the job well, I will not deny that, but each test took 30min+/- and I don't have that kind of time. I think their "50 pulls" on a 17-@#, is very heavily scewed, and is very subjective to how one uses it, I tend run my vapes hard, and this isn't that possible with the heat this puts out. I think my 2 18350's have got to be pretty equivalent to their 17#@#, I could be wrong though, I am a lot. Now I've never used a T1(to many batteriesforme), I see no better utilization of heat/power deployed here. Just scaled down, so warmup time is longer, and any "extra" power saved from LV, is wasted on warm up time. Sounds like the TV power units "MAY" get hotter than my Persei, witch gets pretty hot after 3-4 pulls. It doesn't bother me "much",but my lady with MS could never handle it, which is who these tools "unofficial" are ment for. I wasn't expecting miricles, but extra batt life would have been nice. I could get all day @work w/MFLB and 2 AA's, with 2 @ home on the charger, I'm not about to be going to take 2-3 18650's or 4-6 18350's out and about. It really can be pleasurable w/the right technique, time and plenty of batteries, but it should be known that battery life probably isn't any better than the T1/6vEvo due to extended warm up time. With all that said, I do really like my smooth flow a lot, and plan on someday trying(buying/Trading) the LV Dart, but I don't plan on keeping this LV EVO any longer, its just not for me. The craftsmanship is great, materials seem very quality, you can get moderate clouds, but expect a very hot hand and a lot of batteries in your fanny pack(OF, I'm looking at you). That's it, please don't burn me at the stake, as these are my honest opinions and I tried my darndest to keep a clear, unbiased head throughout trials. Sorry it didn't work out EVO, "it not you, its me", maybe your sister the Dart will suit me better?? Or not who knows.
